Naruto Uzumaki the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox Kurama and future Hokage was lost. Okay lost might be an understatement, the Last thing he remembered doing was going on a date with his new girlfriend and longtime crush Hinata Hyuga at Ichiraku Ramen, his favourite restaurant since his childhood days. He smiled as he remembered when they confessed their love to each other following the battle with Toneri on the moon. Returning to his present situation he took note of his surroundings, he was in a forest surrounded by large trees. This environment reminded him of the Forest of Death back home. He could hear the sounds of the local fauna around him. Closing his eyes he tried to sense any familiar chakra however this resulted in nothing. Deciding to move along to see if he could find a way out of this forest, he leaped into the branches of a nearby tree and began rapidly moving across the canopy.
Meanwhile in another part of the forest was Monkey D. Luffy, Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, the Fifth Emperor and future Pirate King. Just like Naruto he found himself in the forest with no explanation unlike Naruto he didn't seem worried. Rather than being concerned with his current status he was focused on more important matters which was food. Luffy's stomach growled loudly like a fearsome beast possibly scaring off any nearby animals.
"I am so hungry." Luffy thought as he looked around trying to find food. At times like this he'd probably pester Sanji for food but Sanji was nowhere to be found and he was all alone. Suddenly a dark figure leapt from the bushes towards the absent minded pirate.
Alerted by his Haki, Luffy dodged a sword strike from the mysterious person.
"Hey what did you do that for!" Luffy shouted at his attacker.
His attacker was a green Goblin dressed in shabby robes and a hood. It grinned at Luffy with its yellow teeth, its eyes were of the same colour and reflected malice.
Confused Luffy cocked his head to the side "What are you some kind of Bat?" He asked the Goblin. Without answering the confused pirate, the Goblin attacked again swinging its sword at Luffy. Dodging again Luffy prepared to attack, "Ok if it's a fight you want." Pulling back his right arm and stretching beyond human capability he attacked with his signature Gum Gum Pistol. Striking the Goblin in the gut, he sent it flying into a tree. Stunned but not yet beaten, the Goblin attacked again leaping into the air in an attempt to slice Luffy in two. However Luffy sidestepped the Goblin's attack and hit it with his Gum Gum Bazooka. This sent the Goblin flying in the air out of sight but before Luffy could relax he sensed several arrows flying at him. Moving quickly he dodged all of them and narrowly avoided an axe swing from an orc. Luffy faced his new attackers; they were a mix of goblins and orcs, the goblins were armed with clubs, spears and crossbows while the Orcs had axes and swords. Narrowing his eyes Luffy prepared to fight his new foes when suddenly he heard an unfamiliar voice.
"Rasenshuriken!"
A rotating blue sphere of energy and wind collided with the groups of goblins and orcs creating an explosion. Turning to the source of the attack Luffy saw Naruto who leaped to the ground.
"Who are you?" Luffy asked.
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki nice to meet ya."
