Work Visit

Card Capital 2

9 am.

Kamui Katsuragi stood in the middle of the empty store, his black hair tied back as his red eyes focused in on his task as the crisp morning air billowed in through the window as the chirping birds filled the static room with their song. Beside him set a half-empty box filled with the newest booster packs. As he reached down, his hand grasped the packages, the paper crinkling underneath the weight; he stacked the shelf. Filling the empty spaces and moving the older packs farther into the back. A cheerful voice chirped up behind him. As the greened haired manager, shin spoke up behind him.

"Man, would you look at that seriously nothing beats the sight of new packs on the shelves.""

"I know right!" Kamui cheerfully replied.

The smiled on his faced growing as he continued to stack the shelf.

Shin continued to assist the youth for a few moments until a small beep rang out from his watch startled the green-haired man whose shaky hands darted around as he fumbled the current packs in his hand before ultimately crashing to the floor. With a sigh, Shin glanced down at his watch before a look of horror crossed his face. Jumping to his feet Shin began darting around the shop hastily cramming things as he made his way to the door.

"Crap Oh Crap" his panicked voice caught the attention of Kamui, who had yet to look up from the bottom shelf.

"What's the matter, boss."

Without even sparing Kamui a glance Shin tore open the door calling back towards the teen as he rounded the corner. Giving one last parting shout.

"Misaki going to kill me for being late."

With a sigh Kamui returned to his task he grabbed another box pulling it off the stack and placed it down in front of the empty shelf.

"He never learns I hope she takes it easy on him."

Prying open the box. The first thing he noticed was that it was very colorful, with a white-haired mermaid dressed in a pink skirt decorating the cover which read 'Twinkle Melody'. With intrigue Kamui inspected the package closer, flipping it over he hopes to see what they held. Invested in his investigation, he failed to hear the small chime dance across the shop.

"Maybe I Should get Emi a pack or two."

As he spoke aloud, he felt something step up behind him figuring; it was Shin forgetting something yet again, but surprise overtook him when he felt a warm sensation on his neck as a small hand clapped itself on his shoulder and a voice speak into his ear.

"Get me what?"

Ahhhhhh!

With a loud scream, Kamui shot up smacking his head against the bottom shelf sending a few packs flying to the floor. Kamui shriek stopped as he hit, he his immediately clutching the back of head before his body fell prone trying to catch sight of what had startled him, so his red eyes caught sight of a familiar pair of blue as the boy croaked out.

"Emi?"

Standing before him was Emi Sendou, a peached-haired girl dressed up in a white blouse with long-sleeved at the end of which was a floral pattern, the blouse stopped slightly above her waist showing off a bit of midriff. On her hips was a matching skirt ending just above her knees. The peach-haired girl had an amused smile on her face as she moved over to the fallen boy and without a word took his head and placed it on her lap.

"Your always so clumsy Kam-kun" the girls' cheerful voice filled the shop as Kamui's head rest in her lap in red eyes continued to stare, his mouth a gap and his body rigid. A few moments pasted as neither made a sound Emi continued to look down at the cationic male, her blue eyes holding a tinge of amusement. Silence continued for longer as Kamui continued to lie there and stare until Emi let out a sigh.

"You know if you're just going to stare at me the time, I think I will just show myself out."

Kamui's response was immediate as he shot up, his hands waving wildly as a look of dread crossed his face as his voice shot off in a worried tone.

"No, please wait don't go Emi you just surprised me I thought you would come here."

With a smile laugh, Emi brought her hand to her month her amusement as her other hand push herself off the ground and on to her feet.

"I think it's pretty normal for a girl to visit her boyfriend while he is at work."

Without missing a beat, Emi held out her hand to Kamui the amused smile still adorning her face. Kamui immediately taking the proffered hand, letting off a nervous chuckle as he did.

"I guess so thou this is the first time you visited me thou."

Tugging gently, Emi pulled Kamui to his feet, her arms encircling around his waist once he was steady in a firm hug. Released a startled gasp, Kamui's arm hesitantly returns the embrace, pulling Emi closer, her head resting against his chest. Feeling Kamui return her embrace, Emi faced shifted to adorn a small smile. Loosening her grip slightly, Emi pulled back, taking the sight of the flustered boy whose cheeks seemed to be as red as his eyes. With a silent giggle the peach-haired girl rose to the tips of her toe tilting her head, she placed a small kiss on the boy's red cheeks.

As usual, the former member of Q4 face darkened even more before his voice cracked and stutter more so than he usually did. Rendering him to a stuttering mess as he tried to speak her name. His embarrassment only managed to further amuse the blue-eyed girl whose was openly giggling at the boy's shyness.

"You know after four years you would think you wouldn't be so shy anymore" the girl causally remarked. Only for the boy to snapped out of his mess briefly as his eyes focused in on the girl, a look of complete sincerity crossing his features.

"I can't help it your beautiful" he thoughtlessly remarked however almost immediately as the words left his mouth did, they registered in his ears did the flush spread down his body darken his arms as complete embarrassment seemed to engulf the boy. With his declaration Emi smile grew dipping her head the girl skipped back over to the boy enveloping him in another hug.

"Hearing that makes me happy."

A few moments had passed after his embarrassment had passed Kamui could soon recover and lead Emi over to the small table where the two of them now looked through the newest releases together. The former champion showing his beautiful girl friend the newest pack of Bermuda Triangle that she has walked in on him looking at earlier. Currently, the girl was admiring one of the newest units.

"It is really cute, Kamui-kun, but do you really think it will help me get stronger?" She asked with a pointed look as she read through the effect once again. "Course it will I mean if you use it, you can do all kinds of things" Kamui responded as he enthusiastically began pointing out many things he had noticed with the additional support. The stuttering mess was long forgotten. Letting a small smile darted her face, the girl's dainty finger slowly jabbed itself into the boy's oversized cheek as she began poking him.

"Ack, Emi, what are you doing" he asked almost with a whine as the young lady continued to probe his cheek. "It just your always so excited and confident when you talk about vanguard with me why is that" Emi question rang with confusion as her blue eyes stared expectantly at the young man before her. Meeting her stare, Kamui's eyes drifted sideways as his hand nervously clamped down on the back of his his shyly answered her question "It's just vanguard has given me a lot you know… its comfortable without it I wouldn't have met Gouki or bro or even you." Shyly Kamui's eyes darted back to look upon the girl however instead of the former expectant look he now saw what look to be a pout dancing across her face. Internally, the boy panicked as he readied himself to apologize to his goddess. However, any apology died in his throat as he felted the taste of strawberry over his lips as Emi's lips pressed down on his. Quick to react Kamui returned the kiss his eyes drifted close as he pushed down harder deepening the kiss.

The sun had drop as rays of afternoon light filled the space of Card Capital the two lovers now thoroughly separated by the onslaught of customers feeling the space of the shop off to the side Kamui was teaching a newcomer the ropes a blistering grin on his face. Next to him was another boy with red swirling hair entertaining some regulars. Taking another moment to watch her boyfriend Emi let out a small giggle before turning back towards her opponent a greened haired girl.

Hey, hope you enjoyed this little story honestly, I always wanted to see a relationship between Kamui and Emi in G, but they neglected it anyway sorry if you were looking forward to some interactions between Try 3 and Emi, but it just didn't seem to fit thou I had a small little urge to have Chrona stumble in and ruin the moment, but I decided against it perhaps in another story. Moving on I have a small little outreach to ya'll readers as I stated above this story takes place in the same universe as Across the World and I plan for future ones to do the same, but I can only come up with so many ideas so if you have any comment or pm me or even write it yourself after all this fandom can always use more Emi x Kamui love.
