"Alright! Kay, it's your turn to do the cartwheel." the gymnastics trainer told Kay. Kay went for a running start, then she jumped and did a cartwheel with her whole body. Everyone started to clap after being impressed by her performance.
"That is amazing, Kay. Good job!" the gymnastics trainer complimented Kay.
"Thanks! I appreciate it!" Kay thanked her trainer happily.
"Okay, that is the end of today's session! See you all next week!" the trainer greeted all his gymnastics students goodbye, and the students all said "goodbye" to him back, and they all left the gymnasium.
Kay has finally reached Edgeworth's home, and she lied down on the sofa.
"Oh, you're back, Kay!" Edgeworth said.
"How was today's gymnastics session?" he asked.
"It's great! I feel tired, though…" Kay said.
"By the way, what's for dinner?" the Great Thief asked to the chief prosecutor.
"Hmm…I do not know yet." Edgeworth answered Kay's question.
"I mean, you could ask me to buy food you like or something."
"Oh yeah! You're right, uhh…I could always tell you to buy food from my favorite restaurant. Plus, don't forget to buy me that chocolate milkshake. Their milkshakes are the best!" Kay said, with happiness and excitement visible in her voice.
"Umm…but I just bought you something from that restaurant last week, Kay" Edgeworth said, feeling annoyed.
"You should eat something else now. Something healthier, Kay."
"Ugh, fine…"
20 minutes have passed. It was really quiet, and the only sound that can be heard in the room was the sound of the clock ticking and the typing sounds coming from Edgeworth's laptop. Kay was still lying down on the sofa, and now has fallen asleep, while Edgeworth was working on his laptop. Kay then suddenly woke up and got up from her sleeping position.
"AHH! How long have I been asleep for?" she asked.
"Huh? You fell asleep? I didn't know…" There was no answer from Edgeworth. It seems as if he lost a sense of time for a while, as he was really busy doing his work, with his eyes just focused on the words displayed on his laptop screen.
"Also, you should change your clothes now, Kay. You've been wearing that since the morning."
"Okay! I will!"
A few minutes later, Kay went back downstairs on the living room, sitting on the sofa again.
"Okay, so what are you gonna do now, Kay?" Edgeworth asked.
"Hmm…ah! I just remembered! I have to visit Ema today! I promised her that I'll visit her during her badminton session today!" Kay answered Edgeworth's question.
"See ya later!"
30 minutes later, Kay has finally arrived at the badminton grounds, where Ema can be seen playing badminton right now.
"Hi Ema!" Kay greeted her.
"Oh, Kay! You're finally here!" Ema greeted her back.
"Sooo…how was your gymnastics, Kay?" Ema asked.
"It was GREAT!" Kay happily answered her.
"Now, I'm just gonna watch you play! I'll cheer for you!"
The sun was finally setting, and Ema and Kay were both walking down the streets all the way to an empty, quiet park. The two girls then sat on an empty bench. They didn't talk at all, and the only thing heard was the sound of crickets as the sun is about to set. Ema then tapped Kay's shoulder, then Kay turned around and looked, and she saw that Ema was giving her one of her badminton rackets. Kay smiled at her.
"Let's play badminton here!" Ema happily said to Kay.
"Sure! This will help you practice too, right?"
"You're so right, Kay! Let's go!"
The two of them then played badminton in the park's open area and they both were having lots of fun, playing until one of them wins.
After two rounds, Ema wins!
"Well, that was fun! Good game!" Kay said, and she shook hands with Ema.
"Oh and also! I'm gonna show you what I learned today in my gymnastics class!"
"I'm excited to see it, Kay!"
Ema sat down on the bench again and she watched as Kay did her gymnastic skill. Kay went for a running start, and then she did it: The cartwheel that she learned today. Ema was surprised, and she was blushing too.
"I did it!" Kay said happily.
"Wait, are you blushing, Ema?" she asked.
"Uhh…I was just impressed! That's all!" Ema answered.
"Ugh, stop lying. I saw you blush you know!" Ema was feeling really flustered, hiding her expression earlier from Kay. That was until…
"Kay, it was no- EHH?"
Kay kissed Ema. Out of nowhere.
"Uhh…I…that was…thanks, Kay!" Ema thanked Kay, with both of them blushing.
"Anytime! Ahh! I got to go now, it's getting late!"
"Yeah, me too…"
The two have left the park and they are walking all the way back to their homes.
"See you tomorrow, Kay!" Ema greeted and smiled at Kay.
"See ya tomorrow as well, Ema!"
