This is supposed to take place right after Yoh and Anna made the deal with Hao to be brought back to life.

Fumbari - Nighttime - 2002
Rain is pouring tirelessly from the sky. The silhouettes of two bodies can be seen underneath a big cherry tree. Located in the garden area of the recently launched Fumbari Osen, the tree is so packed with leaves that it prevents the bodies from getting soaked.
A young man opens his eyes slowly, trying to regain his senses as his brain struggles to come to terms with everything that has occurred in the last few hours. Everything is blurry and dark, and all he can hear is countless rain drops hitting the surfaces around him.
Suddenly, a street lamp from outside the fence turns on announcing the arrival of dusk, and bringing greater sight to his eyes. He looks up and sees the back of his young wife kneeling down just a few inches from him. Her long blonde hair is entangled with some leaves and dirt from the ground. He notices the small baby in her arms, and relief takes over his being.
- Anna...
He manages to speak in a hoarse voice. His vocal chords are brand new so he is still re-adapting to them. He pulls himself up into the same kneeling position as his wife and reaches for her shoulder. She's shaking.
- Anna, what's happening? Are you ok? Is he ok? - his relief quickly turns into concern as he sees the tears silently running down her face and falling onto their son's little torso. He was alive, but still unconscious from the resurrection.
- We failed... We failed at everything... - her voice is low and her words came out heavily.
- Don't say this, Anna... Hao brought us back, so now we just need to go back and fix everythin-
- No, Yoh. Nothing can be fixed anymore... - Anna says emotionlessly. She is looking down at Hana with an empty look, tears still falling from her eyes.
- We failed him, Yoh. No matter what happens, his life is cursed now. Just like mine...
- Anna, that's not true... - Yoh goes around and kneels in front of her. - He isn't alone nor abandoned and you can guide him on how to control this power... Everything is going to be ok... - He tries to place his hand on her cheek, but she quickly snatches it away.
- You don't get it do you, Yoh?! This power... This is everything I feared the most for Hana. And now your brother has cursed him with it! WE cursed him with it...- Anger starts to take over her.
- We didn't have a choice, Anna... Hana's body was too damaged to revive conventionally, and this way Hao is trying to avoid-
- YOU had a choice, Yoh. But AGAIN you decided to make your own plan, putting the life of a random guy first! Before your family... Before US!
- Anna, you know this is not true...
- What is, then?! The last couple of months all I kept seeing was you trying to save the world by yourself. Forgetting the people who were also there for you. Forgetting that we used to be a team, Yoh... - Anna's voice cracks before she could continue.
- Anna, there was too much at stake and you know that! I couldn't leave him there to-
- You could have, Yoh. You just didn't want to! I kept telling you how we needed to stick to the plan, but you didn't listen...And now because of this we all died... our SON DIED. And now his whole LIFE IS CURSED, YOH! AND IT IS OUR FAULT! - She shouted at him, not being able to contain her emotions any longer. The atmosphere became very heavy. Anna's energy field becoming dense.
- Anna... - The pain going through his heart at this moment was unprecedented.
- I don't think I can continue to do this, Yoh... - She breathes heavily, fighting to hold back her feelings, so to prevent bad things from happenning. - Maybe... Maybe we shouldn't be together anymore. - She says in a low voice as she bowed her head covering her eyes in her blonde hair.
- W-What? - He froze. Not sure he heard it correctly.
- Anna-sama!! Yoh-sama!! What are you guys doing here!? Weren't you supposed to be in the Middle East?- A frantic Ryu comes out from the front door of the Osen accompanied by a confused Tamao, who is holding an extra umbrella.
Yoh and Anna exchange a final look meaning they would continue their conversation later.
Tamao approaches them and gives the extra umbrella to Yoh, who is still too shaken to speak, so he nods at her with a fake smile. She then takes Anna and Hana under her own umbrella.
- It's freezing out here...
- Thank you, Tamao. - Anna says, not daring to look up and reveal her sore eyes.
- What happened Yoh-Dono? Anna-Dono?! You guys look terrible! - Ryu points out as they start heading towards the En Inn. Tamao sends him a reprehensive glare while Yoh and Anna remain silent.
- ...I'm sure they must be tired, Ryu...You guys should go inside and get changed, we can all talk later... - Tamao says calmly, in an attempt to lighten up the mood.
The five of them enter the Inn shutting the door behind them. Rain is still pouring.

I can't believe Shaman King is back!
I also can't believe that it being back made me reincarnate my 15yold self, somehow making me want to write and draw YohAnna stories all over again! Hahaha It's been forever…
I really wanted to cover this part of the Manga when Yoh Anna and Hana got killed. That was such a mysterious insert to me… What was happening for them to be chased like that?
I feel like Anna would be feeling really shattered having her son cursed with something similar to the pain she had experienced. Not to mention that now she would have to "abandon" him just like she had been…Idk, I feel like this moment was probably a bumpy one in Yoh and Anna's relationship.
Anywho! Let's see if I find the time to continue this. :)
