From Daddy and Mommy
Hello, little one.
Today was our first time meeting you, and we saw you sleeping peacefully inside mommy's tummy, glad to hear that.
Speaking of us, you may never understand how meaningful you are. We started as two strangers meeting in a coincidence. We worked together in a case involving a serial killer called Red John, who killed your stepmom and your stepsister, Angela and Charlotte. Daddy may tell you a story about them, when you're in our arms later.
Your daddy, he's a charmer. One thing you will notice probably you never see him other than his three-piece suit and his pajamas. He loves tea so much, and our cabin right now smells like his favorite tea every morning. And he's very smart, he likes to trick and read people, as a result he got into a lot of trouble (so mommy is the one who needs to pull him out). But, he was a broken man inside, his soul isn't as strong as he thinks. And so, mommy later comes to his life, plus you're here too. He's so happy and giddy to hold you soon.
Your mommy is a straightforward, smart, hard worker woman, and much to daddy's opinion, she's super-gorgeous. Mommy carries guns everywhere, catches bad guys, and makes them feel guilty (even though some aren't). She's a tough woman, too. You'll see later once you're born. But, she has different taste as you daddy, because she used to drink coffee (and now she has to drink decaf one until you're born). She has three loud brothers, and I bet you'll never feel alone. You will have great cousins as well, baby.
We met for a very, very long time ago, more than a decade, maybe. Daddy is a mess, as your mom said. He was coming to mommy's old office because he's trying to catch Red John, and mommy is the agent in charge of the case.
Your daddy is kinda annoying at first (and sometimes now too -mommy), he never gets serious in cases, plays games and being goofy, unless it was Red John-thingy. Both daddy and mommy were great partners at work, we protect each other, we don't want to lose each other. And we've became great friends, very close that the others may ask if we're a couple. We didn't want to admit our feelings, before mommy engaged to a man and ready to fly to DC to marry that man, daddy realized how important she is for him.
And so he trespassed the airport, jumping through the fence, and expressed his feelings on the plane to mommy, the rest is history (we want to write about it but you're still young).
We loved each other very much, and now, you're here, ready to embrace the future with us.
We want to tell you that you're loved by the people surrounding us. Daddy and mommy, of course, love you to the core. And you'll meet another amazing people like uncle Kimball Cho, uncle Wayne Rigsby, aunt Grace van Pelt. The first time mommy announced about you, they were ecstatic. We know you'll love them too.
Mommy's family, they are excited to meet you soon. Your uncles may be loud and aggressive sometimes, but they are pretty good people.
Your stepmom and stepsister, maybe they're somewhere nice, but we're sure that they'll adore you.
Mommy's crying a lot while seeing your black-and-white picture, and daddy loves to talk with you while stroking mommy's growing belly.
Welcome our miracle baby, thank you for existing and making our life content. You're safe, you're loved, and you're wise.
