"Honestly merlin, you talk about all these skills but you never seem to show me any." Arthur told merlin.

Merlin had nocked over a vase and was trying to clean up the glass but had ended up cutting himself.

"Why should I? I wouldn't get any thanks, or reward or anything." Merlin said as he extracted a shard of glass from his hand and wripped off som,e cloth from his tunic to stop the bleeding.

"That's true, but still. You managed to cut yourself twice today." Arthur responded.

Arthur raised a hand as if to silence Merlin before he said anything else, and closed his eyes as pictures flooded his mind.

Futures that he would get a kick out of. Futures that amused him.

"I'm having one of those-those-headaches. Those headaches with pictures." Arthur told him.

Merlin raised an eyebrow. "An Idea?"

Arthur rolled his eyes.

"Ulch. No, it's called-a vision! Yes, a vision." he responded.

Merlin looked intrigued at the word 'vision'

"What did you see?" he asked.

"it was...it was...you being target practice today." Arthur smirked down at his manservant who groaned.

"I'll tell Gaius to get the bruising remedy ready." He said.

"Yepp. You're going to need it." and with that, Merlin walked off.
