Akame Ga Kill: Comfort.

Night Raid's newest member, Tatsumi, had left the meeting hall after trying on the Teigu they got from Zanku, Spectator, making Akame, Leone, Mine, Lubbock, Sheele, Bulat and Najenda look at the door with concerned looks. Though Mine's and Akame's faces were blank to hide their emotions.

They knew that Tatsumi misses his childhood friends but he still couldn't forget about them. When he asked if there was a Teigu to bring the dead back, Akame told him to give up seeing his friends again and move on. That made Tatsumi looked at her emotionlessly and left the room, trying not to let anyone see his tears.

"Was it a good idea to say that, Akame?" Leone asked, as she frowned at the dark-hair girl, who stared back her. Leone knows that even though Akame lost people she loved, that doesn't mean she can tell someone to give up from remembering childhood friends.

"That boy needs to learn, he is arrogant and naïve." Mine snapped at Leone, making Leone sigh heavily inwardly. Can't Mine ever be nice? It has been a few days since Tatsumi joined Night Raid, and Mine still treats him coldly.

"As much I hate to say it, she's right, Leone." Bulat said, as though it pained him to say it. He too frowned at Mine, disappointed that she still treats him coldly. He had trained Tatsumi a couple times, wondering if he changed. Tatsumi had changed, but he was still sad that his friends were gone.

Lubbock didn't know Tatsumi that much, but he felt bad for the guy. He didn't had childhood friends when he grew up.

Najenda frowned at Mine and Akame, thinking that they are being harsh to Tatsumi. She knew that moving on from the past is hard, and she couldn't blame that. It will take a while before Tatsumi can move on. She released a deep sigh before turning in for the night.

All the Night Raid members went to bed, except Leone, who was wondering where Tatsumi could be. She then remembered the place that Akame found Tatsumi laying on grass hill the other day, and she headed there, hoping to cheer him up.

(With Tatsumi)

It was night time and there was a cool wind blowing, but Tatsumi didn't care. He was laying on the grass, watching the stars. He was thinking the words that Akame said to him. Maybe he should move on from the past and focus on the future.

"Is what I'm doing right? Am I really an assassin or a newbie?" Tatsumi asked to himself, not noticing Leone was standing behind a tree, listening to his words. Leone felt her heart ache when he said, "Can I really move on? I don't want to forget my friends, but…I have to…if I'm going to change the Capital."

Leone felt sad for Tatsumi, she knew that Tatsumi came to the Capital to earn money to send back to his village and she decided to run off with all of it. She felt more sad that all of the gold she took was gone. 'He must've earn that when he was traveling to the Capital.' Leone thought, as she remembered the gold he gave her.

She cursed under her breath, though it was loud because Tatsumi turned around and called out, "Who's there?" Realizing that she got caught, Leone came out of hiding with a sheepish smile on her face. "Hi, Tatsumi."

Tatsumi freak out when he saw Leone. 'How long was she standing there?' Tatsumi thought, as he stuttered out, "D-did you hear what I said?" Leone nodded, making Tatsumi look at the ground. Leone could guess that he was waiting for the harsh words, making her smile disappeared. She didn't came here for that, she came here to cheer him up.

Releasing a light sigh, she walked over to him and hugged him, with the back of his head against her huge bust. Tatsumi didn't bother fighting, as he was surprised to see that Leone was hugging him, instead of teasing him with her chest. "Tatsumi, I know that moving on is hard, I never had friends when I grow up, but your friends are with you." Leone explained, making Tatsumi look at her.

To prove her point, she gently grabbed Tatsumi's hand and guide it to his heart. Tatsumi's eyes widened, as he understood what Leone is saying. "Your friends are in your heart and they will always be with you" Leone explained with a smile.

"You know, there's no one around, you can let it out." Leone said, after a couple minutes of silence. Tatsumi, who had been holding it in, starting sobbing and hugged Leone, burying his face into her shoulder. "I-I d-don't want t-to lose m-more of m-my f-f-friends…"

Leone hugged Tatsumi back, patting his head before looking at the stars with a determined face. 'I know that I met him for a few days, but I'm starting to fall in love with him.' Leone thought, as she kept Tatsumi closed to her, who was still sobbing. 'He had lost two people he cared about, and I will always be there for him.'

An hour had passed since Leone comforted Tatsumi, and he had fallen asleep from sobbing. Leone, who was tired and kept yawning, carried Tatsumi to his room. She laid him down on the bed and covered him up. She smiled at his face, it looked peaceful.

She was about to leave the room when Tatsumi muttered one word that made her stopped at the door, "Leone…" She turned around to stare wide-eyed at him. Does Tatsumi dream about her in his sleep?

Smiling, she went over to him and pulled the covers off him so she can lay with him. When she pulled the covers on themselves, she felt arms wrapped around her waist. She turned to her right side to see Tatsumi buried his head into her shoulder.

"Thank you…Leone." Tatsumi whispered before falling asleep. Leone smiled and kissed his forehead before replying, "Your welcome, Tatsumi. Good night." And she felled asleep.

If anyone checked Tatsumi's room, they would've seen the two assassins cuddling, as they enjoyed their sleep and presence.

Done with that story. It's just a one-shot of Tatsumi and Leone. I just thought of it this afternoon, and I decided to write it.
