It was raining ... the apartment was dark and all you could hear was her breathing. He couldn't believe what was happening, he was close to the door, with a terrible expression on his face.
- I am leaving.. He said.
⁃ What? Her voice was barely a soft whisper.
⁃ I'm leaving women! His amber eyes didn't make face contact with her once again.
⁃ Inuyasha, what is happening? Why are you leaving in the middle of the night? Her voice cracked. Her breathing almost stopped and the mind could not understand what was happening around her.
⁃ Kagome..i'm sorry, take care. In one move, he touched her cheek. His lips exchanged a fake smile but she could read in his touch the care he tried to give. He took his bag and closer the door kind of fast for her to even react. She stood still for few seconds, looking around the living room where they were living for almost 1 year as Husband and wife, Inuyasha used to leave late in the night for business etc, but never was he that dramatic in his goodbye scene. She looked at the window but the raindrops covered most of her view. In the distance Inuyasha had climbed into his personal car without looking back.
3 Years Later.
Sesshomaru POV.
He made his way back in the house, looking around for his Father and the rest of the family, it was dinner time and actually a very special day. How he could miss this opportunity? He finally found the time to introduce his girlfriend, work has been crazy and his family was always so busy with their own stuff.
Taishou Family was such a big deal in this era , his father was the CEO of a big empire that involved hotel chain and clubs around Asia but also political stuff. As for himself, he chose to get an education and finish his studies. As the eldest son, he had to make himself worthy of his dad power and money. Inu No Taisho, made a deal with his two boys, they could do everything they wanted with their life until they reached the age of 25, after that, they had to achieve power so they could get serious about running the business and expand the power they had already.
His real mother was death, never heard much about her until now, but it never stopped him to enjoy life and respect his step mother. Izayoi was a sweet human lady who gave birth to Inu No taisho, second son, Inuyasha, his step brother. Even though they were just a year apart, Inuyasha was the star of the whole family, and somehow in their history tradition, the youngest boy would be the ultimate heir, but Sesshomaru never had a problem with that. He wanted to be independent anyway, he never hated Inuyasha for being a child made out of love, since his Mother was a mistress of his father at first.
Tonight, his family had one more person , someone who still wasn't introduced in his story, but deserved it's credit.

When Inuyasha left without a trace.
He and his family tried to get him back, but he never contacted them, unless it was for urgent bussiness which mostly his father was speaking with.
Kagome was a beautiful human girl, he was astonished by her beauty when his little brother introduced her to them. She was modest and clearly very sweet. She tried to be a cheff from what he heard from her but once she got married, Inuyasha asked her to quit it and made her some kind of political support to his father Empire.
She looked like some puppy wife at first, always behind me, like a shadow, she was the first Lady like, the First wife in the family, she couldn't be touched by anyone, or spoken to.
Oh, you wanna know why? Because Taisho family is in fact part demons, yes, Tokyo, 2100, finally got together as one union, humans and demons, semi demons, etc. This was the new era, and he was glad.
so Why was Kagome that protected and treated like a Queen? Because Inuyasha is a semi Demon, hence the possesive personality, he put bodyguards everywhere, His Wife was some kind of jewel for him, that's why, he never understood why he left her in such a manner. He went away to another country from his father words, and nobody knew the reason.
As Sesshomaru went to dinner table and took a seat, his phone started to buzz.

He chuckled a little, not his style, but this girl took out new sides of him. He run to the door, without noticing one pair of blue eyes looking at him from afar.
Izayoi POV.
She looked around the kitchen, making the last preparations for the dinner, her son was gonna introduce the girl! Sesshomaru introducing a girl? She was over excited, last time Inuyasha did that, she ordered food for 20 people and her husband laughed his ass off.
She stopped a little and sighed, the thought of it was nostalgic, she wanted both her sons to be happy and the fact that Inuyasha wasn't home this day, made her feel uneasy.
Her maternal feelings kicked in everytime she heard his voice over the phone, he tried to contact her as much as he could, she didn't questioned his leaving and tried to mind her own business, took take of his wife as much as she could. Kagome was her daughter in law officialy speaking but she could swear it felt more like a real one, since she never got the chance to have precious daughter. She cried and suffered for her so much when she came like a zombie to their front door 3 years ago. She was destroyed, poor girl, she didn't deserve to feel like that, especially because she knew how much Inuyasha loved her and back.
Suddenly, a little laugh was made it's way to her, disturbing her thoughts.
⁃ Oh? maybe they are here already! she told the maid, who tried to bring all the food in the dinner hall.
⁃ I don't know Miss. she answered, a bit rushing.
⁃ I hope Toga is ready or i will bring his ass down that study in 5 seconds. She said quite confident of her. Izayoi was a women of elegance but she was a total tomboy if she wanted, Her being the Wife of such a Powerful Man, no wonder. Nobody could oppose to her and her ways.
The maid laughed a bit, knowing of her Boss kincky side, she was so open and demanding, with everything.
Sesshomaru POV.

⁃ I'm Hereeee! Izayoi super ultra voice stopped him in his tracks. He signed in defeat knowing she will act like a 15 years old girl instead being her 45 Lady Like.
⁃ Yeah, That's Izayoi, my mother. he never made a difference between his real mom and her. Mom, this is Rin, my girlfriend.
⁃ Oh My! Such a cutie! She squealed like she just saw a puppy, and that made the girl in question blush like hell.
⁃ Th- thank you Izayoi. she finally said, very timid.
⁃ Oh don't call me that, call me Izy or Big Momma. She huffed, flexing her hard around, wanting to act like some cool teenager.
⁃ You aren't that Big, Dear. Inu no Taisho finally entered the big dinner hall and his presence could speak for itself, no wonder his reputation as a great Demon and CEO. He interrupted in a respectful way his little wife, which he liked to spoil every chance he had.
⁃ Oh dear, this is Rin, Sesshomaru's girlfriend, isn't she too cute? she said in a happy mode that her husband liked at her.
⁃ Hi Rin, I'm Sesshomaru 's father, Taisho or Toga, i believe my son told you about us. I'm relieved he got a girl as elegant as yourself. He noted in a majestic way. He was thousands old already but he was handsome and full of himself still.
⁃ Yes, he told me about his family. Rin was kind and timid but she surely wanted to chat at this dinner and make herself look good in front of her boyfriend big family.
As they took their places at the dinning table , the maid brought the plates and Izayoi stated to chit chat with a blushing Rin. Sesshomaru wasn't be most talkative person but he really wanted to make Rin feel comfortable.
⁃ So how did you two meet? Izayoi asked, holding her fork around, trying to reach a piece of mushroom.
⁃ We met at university. Sesshomaru answered straight away before Rin could say something. He didn't like the details and it was embarrassing to tell his parents about his actual real meeting with Rin.
Izayoi looked at them and read the mood in an instant as her grin grew up on her lips. Just before her voice could make up a sneaky remark, Rin added fast.
⁃ So, if your brother coming at this dinner?
Silence.
Izayoi stopped eating.
Toga stopped looking over the news.
Sesshomaru's face made a grimace and looked at her.
⁃ Inuyasha doesn't live with us. he stated as a matter of fact. He told her once about him , how he got married before him, and is into politics and stuff like that. Just random things, he didn't want to tell something more, because he had no reason.
⁃ Oh, i thought that maybe he was here, what about his wife?

Izayoi started to drink wine.
Sesshomaru smirked at her slowly.
⁃ Oh, she is here, you will meet her tonight. he confessed to her. Another story he told her, he talked rather much about his sister in law, which he considered her like a real one.
⁃ Speak of the devil. He smirked again in usual natural manner , since he sniffed Kagome just before she made her present in this room.
Rin looked over her shoulder, her mouth open, the view of this women made her feel little.
Kagome...she knew about her from Sesshomaru but she knew more of her from the TV. She was considered a femme fatale, she appeared beside Inuyasha in the beginning of their marriage but now she pulled the strings behind most of the bussiness, Taisho family held, she was a workaholic and most of the people know her as the wife of one of the most handsome men on earth who applied to be the new prime minister of the union between demons and humans. Hell, she even tried once to get a job where she had the office.
Kagome POV
Kagome looked over the room, she barely made it in time but signed in relief when she saw her family. Her Family...
She took the courage to push in the big doors and revealed herself to them, wearing a nice creamy peach suit, she often wore in the week day.
Sesshomaru asked her to take some break and come to this dinner, to meet his new girlfriend.
Standing there, in a corner, beside him, a little girl, no older than 20 years looked back at her blue eyes.
⁃ Hi! I'm Kagome! she said smiling in her rushed style, then took a sit across them.
⁃ H-Hi, I'm Rin, i'm really fond of meeting you, and kinda proud. the small girl confessed with her cheeks all red.
That took Kagome back, usually the girls She has seen with Sesshomaru, ignored her.
⁃ Really? she spoke with big eyes. And Here i thought this jackass was only capable of getting bimbos.
Everyone laughed beside Sesshomaru who made a " Wtf" face in his response.
Kagome was clearly close to him, and she had a natural way of speaking straight, not what she was to be from the TV.
⁃ Sorry, joke aside, he finally got a cute girl, last time i had to punch him when i saw the bimbo he took in his car.
It was no big secret that Sesshomaru as his little brother, engaged in going out with trashy girls, or let's say, super sexy women who liked money and expensive stuff.
Sesshomaru felt embarrassed for the second time that night and it was a surprise, it was true he had some night affairs with women around but that was all in the past. He really liked Rin and that's why he made the big effort to introduce her.
⁃ Oh come on, don't make that puppy silly face. Kagome said while whipping her full of chiken mouth.

The night went well, the dinner was amazing and the atmosphere was entertaining, Kagome was showing a happy, cool side, even though she looked so skinny from what the TV made her look like.
Rin was hugged a lot that night, Izayoi and Kagome made the chat most of the time, she really seemed like a good new addition to this family. Both women thought of her as a new little sister and daughter.
Sesshomaru watched proud from his chair, the smiles he got from Rin from time to time made his heart melt and a smile slipped his lips.
His phone buzzed at one moment and he looked instantly.

Yea, that was Inuyasha, his stupid little brother liked to send him random texts which made him wonder how on earth he knew what was going on in the house sometimes since he didn't live there.
He didn't text back, somehow he wanted him to be here and tell it to his face. That Bastard thought he could rule over and made big impact even now and here.
Soon, Rin found herself in Sesshomaru's car, getting her home safely.
⁃ I really liked your family, they seem so nice and chill. she told him while playing with her phone.
⁃ Yea, they cool. Men of little words, that's him.
⁃ But..something in Kagome's eyes is off, is she still with Inuyasha? I haven't seen them published anywhere for some time. she didn't want to be a gossiper but it made her curious.
⁃ Rin, i don't know what to tell you really, it's not my story to tell but all i can say is that my brother fucked up and Kagome is strong enough to deal with it. he continued driving, not making any faces, he really didn't know what to tell her because even him barely knew the information and real reason.
⁃ oh, that's fine, don't worry. her little hands touched his big arm, reassuring him that she didn't mind.
⁃ Kagome loves him, that i know for sure.
Rin nodded and started to get ready to get out of his car. She will try to get the details right off Kagome's mouth one day.
She smiled when he pulled over her house and kissed her cheek. Their relationship was still fresh and Rin blushed so much at any kind of intimate affection he showed. He guessed that's what he liked at her in the first place.
She said her goodnights and got inside her home, waving at him.
Kagome POV.
After she finished the dinner Kagome went straight in her room, she moved out with Taisho family after Inuyasha left her alone in their apartment, which she never sold or tried to sleep again.
That rainy night was the last one, she couldn't sleep again in a bed that was once shared between Inuyasha and her.
Kagome dropped her phone and clothes to the floor and made her way to the bathroom, wanting just a warm bath before falling asleep.
It started to rain...again rain? she thought.
