Chapter 1: The First Day
After a long and tiring school year, summer was finally here. Both Phineas and Ferb, were ecstatic, and could not wait to build more inventions and creations. They woke up that morning, feeling better than ever. The birds were chirping, and the fresh summer breeze, was gently flowing over their skin, and the beautiful sun shining brightly in the sky. The two-brothers looked at each other, with big smiles, as they knew that it was the first day of summer. Phineas and Ferb looked next to their bed and saw Perry the platypus, who was still sleeping in his small bed. The soft drifting scent, of waffles, and syrup, flooded into their nostrils. They put on new clothes, which consisted of Phineas's striped orange and white shirt, and his blue shorts, along with Ferb's white collared shirt, and purple pants. Together, the brothers headed downstairs running at full speed. Upon arriving at the kitchen, their mom Linda, was making waffles for Phineas and Ferb. At the kitchen table, Candace was already seated, chatting on the phone with her best friend Stacy. The two had been best friends for all of eternity, as they went to the same school growing up. The brothers approached their mom and said, "good morning". Their mom said, "good morning" back, and said "what are you boys going to do today". Phineas and Ferb then said that they do not know, but they are going to have fun. At that moment, the waffles were ready, and the brothers sat down comfortably at the table. They were beyond hungry and were excited to eat. They were greeted by a stack of perfect waffles. The boys then ate all the waffles in front of them, and went upstairs, to think about what they would accomplish that day. They went in their room, closed the door behind them, and began to think about what they should do that day. They listed some ideas, but none were interesting to them. While they were brainstorming, they hear their mother, leaving the house, saying that she had cooking classes, with one of her friends. The brothers then waved her goodbye and continued to think about some ideas. They then decided to ask their sister Candace; however, Candace did not care as she was on the phone with Jeremy, who was her boyfriend.
After a few hours, the boys had a mental block, and did not know what to do. They then decided to go to their friend's house and see if they had any ideas. They had not seen their friends for many days, as the last time they had seen each other, was during the last day of summer. They jumped down the stairs, and out the house. They walked down the street and decided to go to Isabella's house first. They walked for a few minutes and approached her house. Phineas knocked on the door of the house, and heard barking coming from inside. The dog's name was pinky and belonged to Isabella's family. After some time, Isabella's mom opened the house, and greeted the boys. She called Isabella, from the other side of the house, that Phineas and Ferb were here. She jolted towards them, as she had not seen them since last summer. Phineas and Ferb then left the house, however Isabella was with them. They then decided to go to Buford's house. After a few minutes of walking in the hot summer sun, they knocked on Buford's door. Buford opened the door and was very happy to see his old friends. Together, the four of them, walked to Baljeet's house reminiscing about last summer, and all that they did. They were talking about all the inventions, and all the fun that they created. A few minutes later they arrived at Baljeet's house. Buford knocked on the door, and Baljeet opened it. He was shocked to everyone again. Finally, after a whole school year, the gang was back together. They all headed back to Phineas's house, where they went to the backyard and sat underneath the luscious green tree which gave them shade, from the blazing sun, which was shining brightly above them. Together, the entire gang was thinking about what to do. Soon after, Baljeet came up with the idea of building an invention. It was already approaching nighttime, so the friends all returned home, and decided to build an invention tomorrow. That night Phineas and Ferb's mom came back home and asked what they did all day. Phineas just said that they met their friends, and just chilled with them the entire day.
