Nearly all of the world's radios - televisions and computers were watching the event unfold.
Six months ago a massive island that had been formed to look like a massive castle fell from the sky, no one knew where it had come from only that one moment there was nothing, the next moment it was there.
As usual, the Shinra corporation arrived but considering the corporation's attempts to improve its public image, the soldiers that went to the island \ mountain \ castle were accompanied by several reporters.
And the world found itself looking at something that shouldn't have been possible, the mountain or castle didn't make any sense, there were areas where it was night time, others were covered in water and there were all sorts of creatures.
Yet what struck people the most was the variety of creatures, unfortunately, the helicopters and ground vehicles couldn't enter the massive mountain, because some unknown energy was keeping the various vehicles from entering it.
Despite all of these setbacks, the reporters continued to film and the world watched as the soldiers found a massive door that led into the mountain.
It was like if the entire world was viewing the event of a lifetime, something that could or would never happen again.
Men- women, and children all dressed in knight armor greeted the soldiers, and in a moment that was captured in film and pictures both kinds of soldiers met.
No one knows what exactly was said between the two groups but for whatever reason, the mountain began to rise once again until it was barely of the ground only leaving the massive hole it had made when it landed.
The mountain now had its entire lower side completely exposed and it was so low that if people wanted to enter the castle section they could just hop in if the barrier was shut off.
Naturally, the various powers of the world instantly turned their attention towards the castle \mountain \ island and prepared to force it and its people under their control.
None of the governments of the world liked each other and were still fighting against one another, however, they simply couldn't or wouldn't let anyone else threaten their control over the world.
Yet no one could have ever expected what had happened next, as the various armies of the world prepared to fight the nights and each other rover the castle \ island\ \mountain.
It was only an instant yet in that single instant the entire world was forced to kneel, various beings of unheard-of power had suddenly forced the world's governments to their knees.
At that moment everyone knew that they were in the presence of a primordial or gods who commanded all of the invaders to leave or else they would interfere in favor of their children.
And so the Kindom of Aincrad won their first war without lifting a finger.
And so the world stood still and listened as the knight's representatives announced that Aincrad would keep itself separated from the world's conflict unless it was provoked.
