Hello, everyone! I liked to introduce a new story that I've been thinking of… it's Haikyuu! Ninjas, where our 12 Karasuno crows get dragged into a war between two martial arts masters in another Japan?! Takes place before the Miyagi Prefecture Spring Interhigh Qualifiers in October. Stay tuned!
Haikyuu! Ninjas
Prologue
"Hinata! Hinata!" A feminine voice hollered.
A teenage boy's groaning was heard as his were starting to open, only to see a girl hovering over the boy in concern.
Two seconds of staring at each other before both teen's faces blushed red and shrieked, immediately backing two steps away.
"Y-Yachi-san?!" The boy, otherwise named Shoyo Hinata, the designated baby crow of the Karasuno High Volleyball Club as both middle blocker and known as They Greatest Decoy, exclaimed.
Standing in front of him is Hitoka Yachi, Karasuno's manager-in-training and fellow school peer at their high school; still blushing.
"H-Hey…" Yachi said.
Getting out of his funk, Hinata began to look at his surroundings: they are not at the gym, the school, or even their respective homes. They are in a forest with green large trees, a small pond, and rocky ground, and both he and Yachi are dressed in their school uniforms during the summer.
"Uh, where are we?" Hinata asked, confused.
"No idea. This feels nothing like Miyagi." Yachi replied.
Hinata moved his hands on the ground until he touched something. Looking to his right, he saw a pair of swords, more likely, Ninjatō swords with the handles colored orange and gold, along with a brown belt. He carefully picked both of them up and held both swords in his left hand, then slowly drew the first sword with his right hand to see the blade - clean and sharp.
Hinata was at awe.
"So you too, huh?" Yachi asked.
Hinata sees Yachi holding a 20cm Shinogi tanto with a circular bronze tsuba and yellow wrapping on the handle.
"That's cool, Yachi-san." Hinata commented.
"Wouldn't be the word I used when I'm holding a weapon." Yachi explained, having a sweat drop on her forehead.
"Guess we should get moving if we want our answers." Hinata said.
Yachi nodded in agreement.

The two began to walk through the forest together in close proximity out of the anxiety of something that could happen.
Yachi is hiding behind Hinata in fear while Hinata, scared himself, is trying to be brave for Yachi's sake; not either realizing the blushing on their faces.
"I'm so close to Hinata! He's so adorable- Stop thinking of such things!" Yachi thought, wrestling with her feelings.
"Yachi-san's so cute when she's worried. GAH, don't be ridiculous! She's just a friend!" Hinata thought, doing the same.
Hinata and Yachi continued walking until they've reached a small wooden shack near the river.
"I-Is anyone h-home?" Yachi asked, starting to get more scared.
"Stay behind me. We have no idea who's inside." Hinata replied.
Hinata and Yachi walked to the shack and tried to open the door, but they were knocked back into the river by an unknown force.
They managed to get up, only to see what appears to be ninjas in black wielding katanas.
"NINJAS?!" Hinata and Yachi thought in unison.
Two ninjas began their attack on the two teens. Without hesitation, Hinata unleashed one of the Ninjatō and intercepted the blade.
He pushed the ninja back and quickly drew the other sword, fighting fiercely by instinct.
Two more ninja attempted to strike, but Hinata dodged by bending backward from the swords before using his own to strike the two ninjas back, knocking the swords out of their hands to their surprise.
"W-What?!" One ninja exclaimed.
"It couldn't be…!" Another ninja hollered.
Hinata himself had his mind blown by what just happened.
"H-How did I just do that?!" Hinata thought.
"Go for the girl!" A third ninja hollered, pointing to a frightened Yachi.
The enemy ninja aimed their attention and charged towards Yachi.
"Yachi-san!" Hinata hollered.
Despite showing fear, Yachi had unexpectedly dodged two ninja coming straight at her by jumping to the side, then drawing her tanto and intercepting the third; clashing swords before kicking the third ninja in the stomach hard with enough force to send him into a tree, kicking him out.
Yachi, and Hinata, were shocked.
"Did I just…" Yachi said.
Hinata didn't give Yachi time to think as he rush and tackled her out of the way as more ninja threw shuriken, missing their mark.
"We gotta move!" Hinata hollered.
Sheathing one of the swords into the sheath and belt, he grabbed Yachi's free hand and quickly ran with Yachi dragging behind.

They ran out of the forest and near a rocky area near a lake for what seemed like minutes, Yachi was starting to get tired and feel like her arm that Hinata was holding gonna rip off.
Yachi ended up tripping on a rock and onto Hinata, forcing him to cushion her fall as they hit the ground near the lake. Luckily, the water is very shallow and didn't wash them away.
The two groaned in pain as they tried to get back up. More ninjas surrounded them with blades near them.
"I thought you two were dead. This time we'll make sure of it!" The lead ninja hollered.
Hinata and Yachi were confused.
Before the lead ninja could strike his blade downward, a stray arrow pierced his arm, causing the lead ninja to groan in pain.
"Sure know how to get yourself in trouble, dumbass." A voice commented.
"There's only one person who calls me that…" Hinata thought, as he and Yachi got up to see their rescuer from the right.
Standing is none other than Hinata's rival and the starting setter for the volleyball club at their school, Tobio Kageyama. He now wields a Nisun-nobi length Yumi (Japanese longbow) made out of extremely tough wood with the hilt wrapping dark blue. Behind his back and held by his belt is a wakizashi with a a rectangular bronze tsuba and blue handle and sheathe, and two small black tassels hanging from the pommel.
"Kageyama-kun!" Yachi hollered.
"Thanks for the save." Hinata said, sarcastically.
"Not just me." Kageyama said.
The ninjas were soon struck with surprise by several other blurs that made their appearance.
Hinata, Yachi and Kageyama's fellow Karasuno peers Kei Tsukishima, wielding a double-bladed Katana (with both blades around the size of a short sword) with two square gold guards and dark yellow wrapping on the handle, with a red back strap sheathe on back.
Tadashi Yamaguchi, wielding a 6 ft long spear with a black pole and green wrapping in the middle.
Ryunosuke Tanaka, holding in both hands a pair of Sais with the hilt wrapping colored grey.
Yu Nishinoya; wielding a pair of wooden Nunchucks with the hilt wrapping colored black.
Chikara Ennoshita, wielding in both hands a pair of sturdy wooden tonfas with mahogany wrapping on the grips.
Daichi Sawamura wielding a disc-shaped shield made of the strongest metals in existence with four concentric sections, with fittings on the inner surface for two leather straps that allow the shield to easily be held and worn on the arm; colored blue with the center a black star.
Koshi Sugawara wielding a 6 ft long Bo-staff with white cloth wrapped in the middle.
Asahi Azumane holding in both hands a pair of silver metal gauntlets with a brown outline.
And Kiyoko Shimizu, wielding a pair of metal Tessen fans with a lotus flower symbol on the top front, both sides, and the blades have some pale blue streaks.
"Guys!" Hinata hollered.
"Sorry we're late, bro!" Tanaka hollered.
"These weapons are so cool!" Nishinoya hollered, admiring his chucks.
"We've got a lot of explaining to do." Ennoshita said.
"Just glad we made it." Kiyoko said.
"Are you two okay?" Asahi asked, out of worry for Hinata and Yachi.
"Get your mind focused, dude." Sugawara said, hitting Asahi on the head with his staff lightly.
"Just when I was having a good sleep." Tsukishima said, annoyed.
"You had a good sleep?" Yamaguchi asked.
"Shut up, Yamaguchi." Tsukishima replied.
"Sorry, Tsukki." Yamaguchi said.
"We may not know what's going on, but saving Hinata and Yachi-san are top priority." Daichi explained.
The ninjas didn't stutter and instead attacked the arriving teens.
But Kageyama and the others not put up a fight, they were overwhelming the ninjas with ease with each of their own respective weapon skills individually: Kageyama shooting down incoming enemies, Daichi blocking enemy attacks with his shield to allow Tanaka and Asahi to blow them away, Nishinoya combining martial arts with his rolling receives to trip enemies, Yamaguchi, Tsukishima and Ennoshita fought with ingenuity and creativity to lower the enemy guard, and Kiyoko fighting elegantly with her fans in all forms of combat from short to long-range.
Hinata and Yachi got up and joined the fray as they struck the enemy with Hinata repeatedly using his swords to disarm the enemy ninja and kicking them aside, while Yachi used her own weapon to lock swords with them before striking their pressure points to knock them out.
Seeing a losing battle, the enemy ninja quickly gathered and used smoke bombs to obscure their vision, enabling their escape.
"Seems they got away." Kageyama said.
"Glad to see you guys… but can someone tell me WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" Hinata asked, loudly exclaiming to demand an explanation.
"NOT SO LOUD!" Kageyama, Tanaka and Sugawara exclaimed in unison.
"Allow me to explain." A voice said, startling the 12 Karasuno students.
Landing from the sky was a 4 foot 8 inch anthropomorphic monkey with black fur that has some white streaks, blue eyes, and dressed in a tan and white Japanese kimono with a white staff in hand.
"A TALKING MONKEY?!" Hinata, Yachi, Kageyama, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Daichi, Sugawara, Asahi, Nishinoya, Tanaka, Ennoshita and Kiyoko thought in unison, totally flabbergasted.
Who is this walking, talking monkey? Does he have the answers our crows will need in this current predicament?! The start of a battle is about to begin!

Like with Galaxy Battle Nexus and Holy World Adventures, the characters of Haikyuu use the same weapons and ninjutsu inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This will be the first step of the bigger crossovers coming very soon.
