I had this idea rattling around in my head. I found that Kumoko's story is about determination, persistence, and hope. Sort of like the nursery rhyme of the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Now, I may be a little old for children's songs, but I thought this would be fun. Besides, I haven't updated in a while, so consider this an appetizer.
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, climbed up the waterspout
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider, climbed up the spout again.
At least… that's how it would've went. For you see…
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, hatched out from her egg
Moments after birth, she was faced with threat of death
She had to eat her sibling, in order to survive
But the Itsy Bitsy Spider, pushed on with her life
The Itsy Bitsy Spider wandered throughout the cave
The Great Elroe Labyrinth, that may have been her grave
She made herself a web, and fought a giant frog
She almost died but won, and grew a bit more strong
Suddenly a dragon, found the spider's web
His name was Araba, and he could've left her dead
Instead her didn't bother, thinking she'd be weak
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider, was insulted to say the least.
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, built herself a home
Down came the humans, burned it to a toast
So she ran away, and the humans took her webs
But the Itsy Bitsy Spider, got really really mad
The itsy bitsy Spider, shook her fist in rage
She screamed out at the world, and relished in her pain
But she pushed on forth, and fought, and killed, and ate
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider, kept growing at this rate
The Itsy Bitsy Spider grew stronger by the day.
She killed a horde of monkeys and made them rot away.
She thought she saw the sun, and leaped into the fray
But she would jump out of the frying pan, and into the flames
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, could not touch the lava
She improvised and worked, for every breath she took
She spilled a lot of blood, and ate delicious fish
She prayed for a friend, and she received her wish
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, climbed higher by the day
She became a mighty beast, and a demon as they say
Suddenly she remembered Araba's disdain
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider plotted her revenge
She trapped the dragon in a massive net of webs
She pelted him with poison, and tortured with red
They both put up a fight, and unleashed their burning hate,
But the Earth Dragon Araba, engulfed himself in flames
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, her plan had gone awry
Just to make a fight, she blew up both her eyes
The dragon tore her up, and she almost bled away
But the Itsy Bitsy Spider, had one last card to play
She made the dragon tired, and dragged the battle on
Araba couldn't keep up with her flying jumps
Eventually, he fainted and the spider jumped for joy
Finally she'd victored and she taunted him with coy
But even after winning, she didn't feel complete
Araba had simply accepted his defeat
She cried for a day, and looked back on her life
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider, felt nothing but strife
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, kept walking through the cave
For weeks, she would wonder, if this was her fate.
But out came the sun, and the exit she could see
And the Itsy Bitsy Spider was happy to be free.
