Finn and Jake's tree house/Grasslands/1:23PM

Finn and Jake's tree house a place of fun excitement and adventure...or at least..it used to be...

Finn sat down in a slump...he looked at his are...or rather where his arm and grass sword had been ripped off deep in thought...deep in thought about the Conversation he had with billy.

"Beating upmonsters.it's as pointless asa dog chasing his own tail."

Finnfrowned as he thought over these memories in a new light.just then Finn thoughts were interrupted as the phone began to beep...and then messages began to play

"BEEP!Hey Finn Wildberry princess here! I have a bandit problem, could you be a dear and take care of it for me?"said the answering machine.

Finn knew that ordinarily he'd be running out the door eager for a venture...but now...

"BEEP!Hey Finn sweetie! This is ocean princess there's like a huge monster or something freaking out my people on the outskirts of my kingdom..could you look into it?thanks"

Finn just stared at the machine...for the first timeever he had no desire for an adventure...

"BEEP!Hey Finn! Like skeleton princess here! I have like this cursed ring! And I like need it thrown into a volcano.like soon as possible!"

"BEEP!Hey Finn! Engagement ring princess! Had a house burned down...could you look into it for me?"

"What do you mean "pointless?" We just saved the Mini Queen from a monster!"said a younger Finn. Billy just sighed "you know where she is right now? She's probably being eaten by a different monster. She's probably dead."

"BEEP! Finn! It'sghost princess! I was just wondering..."

"All my life,I've beaten on evil creatures."Billy takes a deep breath."But new evil keepspopping up. Kicking theirbutts was a hopeless effort!"

"BEEP! Finn! It'sRaggedy princess! I need your help with..."

"Help people by being active in your community"

"BEEP!Finn! It's jungle princess I need a solid-"

"Your supposed to beat up monsters so we don't half to defend ourselves!"shouts the cobbler

"BEEP!FINN!ITS LSP!I'mhaving a party to make brad Jealous and I need your help with decorat-"

Finn smashed the answering machine...and played with that last memory inside his head.

"Your supposed to beat up monsters so we don't have to defend ourselves"

"So..what?it's all on me?all on me one teenage boy of 17 to save everyone,everywhere,all the time?...and you won't even lift a finger TO HELP YOURSELVES!!!"Finn said then screamed

Finn sighed as he began to pace back and forth... thinking deeper than he's ever thought before.

"Huh...to be fair how I handled a lot of problems ...was terrible" Finn thought

But still the only real military were in the fire kingdom and candy kingdom everywhere else was either non-existent or a joke.

True he was good at what He did but what happened when he died or got to old?or wanted to retire?

He was starting to wonder if Billy had been on to something first time.

Finn shook his head"I need a vacation"Finn said out loud

"Perhaps I can be of assistance?"Finn turned around and screamed at the site of the enrich abomination Slenderman

"Calm down young one I am not here to Hurt you"#*• said in a calmingvoice

Finn stop screaming and looking at The being (Authors note he looks like the shadow man's monster form from cod zombies)"if your not going to hurt me then what do you want and who and what are you?"

"My name would cause you to go insane but to you,you can call me Jackas to what I am I am a watcher of the Multiverse"for now identified Jack introduced and told Finn

Finn was shocked of course he knew what the Multiverse was bubblegum told him once he thought it was fascinating an infinite number of worlds it was so cool to think about.

"Ok but that still doesn't explain why you are here"Finn said with a questioning look on his face

"Ah yes I was getting to that you see I was watching you and you seemed down I was about to go watch someone else until I heard you say I need a vacation so I believe I can help you with that with a totally different dimension in a whole new adventure what do you say"question Jack

Finn thought about it but he didn't know he had so many responsibilities still as a hero of ooo and champion of the candy kingdom

Jack could see that Finn was having a hard time choosing so he summons something that will help" here this will help"jack said handing Finn a folder

Finn looks at the folder before taking the folder from jack.looking at the front of it he sees it's title hero pet and raising an eyebrow.he opens it and starts to read the more he reads the more horrified he becomes because the two women he loves Marceline and bubblegum were using him as a slave.he dropped the folder and fell back in to the couch he can't deny it because it's bubblegum's handwriting.

Jack looks at Finn and sighed "I'll give you a moment to your self I'll be back for your answer in 30 minutes"jack said and left

30 MINUTES LATER

Jack came back to find Finn was up and looking at him.

"I'll take your offer but do you thing you can do something about this"Finn answered and asked for pointing to his missing arm

Jack laughed and open a portal"of course now the place you'll be going to is steelwater as soon as you go in to the portal your original arm will come back"jack said before disappearing

Finnwalked up the portal and walked through.that was the last time ooo seen its hero for a long time.

Finn and Jake's tree house/Grasslands/5:53PM

Jake whistled as he entered the tree house"yo,Finn!I made a new everything burrito!want to..."and then he noticed Finn was gone

"Finn?bro?where are you" after looking around he found a note for him as well as the folder

I'm sorry Jake by the time you read this I'm already long gone I'll be back you can count on that love you bro see you later

Jake after reading the note looks at the folder before reading it.after he was done reading it he grabbed the note and folder and marched to the candy kingdom.
