"Please, let me go!" A fearful female voice sounded.

Neva raised her bottle green eyes from her book when the door opened to the room. The three men that had kept her there for a year - Roman, Seth and Dean - were dragging in a new woman.

"Help me!" The woman pleaded.

The three men burst into laughter. Neva smirked at the woman's plea. She couldn't help the new woman.

"She can't help you," Dean mocked.
"And if she could, she still wouldn't want to," Roman said.
"Who's this?" Neva asked.
"This is Sasha," Seth answered. "Sasha, this is Neva. Your new roommate."

Neva ran her eyes up and down Sasha's body. She felt like the same type of predator that those three men were. They sure had a thing for short women. Probably because they thought they were easier to hold down and wouldn't fight back much.

"I like her hair," Neva said.
"Don't get any bright ideas," Roman grinned. "Your hair stays the same. The color will be out of Sasha's hair soon enough."

Neva grinned back at Roman and ran a hand through her dark brown hair.

"Neva, show Sasha how to behave around here," Seth said.

Neva put her book down on the mattress, stood up and walked over to Sasha who was shaking in fear.

"Please," Sasha whispered.

Neva grabbed Sasha's hair and leaned close. Sasha reacted by pushing Neva hard in the chest. Neva caught in the corner of her eye how all three men were smirking and chuckling. She had to act fast. She wrapped her hand around Sasha's throat and backed her up against the wall. Sasha's back hit the wall hard, and the blue haired woman whimpered in pain.

"You belong to them!" Neva growled. "You will learn your place here soon enough if you know what's good for you. If you say no, you get hurt. If you try to fight, you get hurt. If you try to run, you get hurt even worse. Your body is their tool. You will do as you're told. Fucking behave, bitch, or I will personally be there next to them breaking your fingers one by one."

Sasha started crying and looked down at the floor. Neva let go of Sasha, looked at the three men, shrugged, and walked back to the mattress. She sat down and picked up her book again. Dean grabbed Sasha's arm and pushed her over to another mattress.

"Let's leave these two to get to know each other," Dean said. "I'm sure they'll be best friends soon enough."
"Hilarious," Seth said.
"Good work, Neva," Roman said. "I'm making a coffee run soon enough. What would you like?"
"Salted caramel latte, please," Neva said.
"You got it, baby girl," Roman said.

Neva smiled and nodded. The three men left the room and closed the door behind them. Neva's smile faded and she put the book back down. She looked over at Sasha who was curled up into a ball on the mattress. Not too long ago that had been Neva. All curled up, crying, scared for her life. Only difference was that Neva had been alone. There hadn't been another woman in there with her. Roman, Seth and Dean had been the ones to break her and seal her fate.

"Hey," Neva said softly. "I'm sorry."
"Fuck you!" Sasha hissed.
"I deserve that," Neva sighed. "Look, we're in the same boat here. I don't want to be here anymore than you do. I had to do what I just did in order for them to keep believing they've broken me. I've been here a long time trying to figure out how to escape. With you here, it might be easier when I won't have three men watching me at the same time. We can work together to get out of here. I know it's a lot to ask but you have to trust me. Do what they say and there won't be any problems. Don't make them angry. Don't make me hurt you, and for the love of anything holy, don't make them hurt you. They can be quite inventive."

Sasha sniffled and sat up to look at Neva.

"I'll tell them what you just said. I'll tell them you're planning on escaping," Sasha said.

Neva took a deep breath. She gritted her teeth, and her eyes turned angry.

"Who do you think they're gonna believe?" Neva asked. "I didn't spend a year here earning their trust to have some little girl tear that down. I will throw you under the bus, Sasha. They will hurt you in ways you can't even begin to imagine. If you think telling them what I said will somehow earn you a ticket out of here, you are sorely mistaken."

Neva picked up her book again and turned her focus back to it. She heard Sasha start crying again. She didn't respond to it. She had been honest with Sasha, but the new girl didn't seem to believe her. She had nothing else to say in that moment.
