Freya sat in her chambers, staring out at the snowy mountains that surrounded Skyhold, the cold air drifting in through the open doors. Two years had passed since the Inquisition had defeated Corypheus. It had been Two years since Solas had left...had left her.

Freya sighed as her mind was filled with thoughts of him, and of how she missed him. 'I wonder where he is now...? What is he doing? Does he miss me-!' Freya felt the anger rise up inside when she thought of Solas, the man who left her. The man that said that he loved her, who had removed her vallaslin and the one whom didn't hesitate to stomp on her heart.

"That fucking bastard!" She growled and then jumped slightly once she heard the door to her chambers open.

"Inqusitor." A voice drifted up the stairs. Freya swallowed and then went about smoothing out her clothes and clearing her throat.

"What is it?" She asked, not bothering to ask who it was because she really didn't care who it was at the moment in time.

"Inquistor you are needed in the war room," The voice said, this voice unknown to her. 'Probably one of Leiliana's spies...' She thought. "at the request of the council." Freya closed her eyes as a sour taste filled her mouth.

"I will be there," She said tightly as she stood up, a book falling from her lap as she did. "please tell them to give me a few minutes." She said as she walked over to her wardrobe to change. It didn't take Freya long, but she was pushing off going to the war room for as long as possible. Freya knew that the peace that she had help require for all of Thedas and Orlais wouldn't last forever. Freya fiddled with her tunic, smoothing out the wrinkles. 'The sooner I do this the sooner it will be done...' She thought to herself as she looked at her reflection in the mirror that sat before her. What looked back was both disturbing and sad to the elf; dark bags lined her undereyes, eyes dark with unsaid feelings and thoughts and hair that was in need of a good trim. Her eyes drifted closed and she let out a sigh, turning on her heels and made the descent of her tower; a strange feeling of foreboding filling her chest.

As she made her way to the war room she could hear raised voice as she approached; of people bickering back and forth.

"For once, I wish you people would take what I am say into consideration!" Cullen shouted, Freya could feel the tension and irritation through the massive door that stood before her, the one room she truly wished to never step foot in again. It felt like it was only yesterday that she and her council had been planning the fight against Corypheus. Freya took in a deep breath, letting out after a few beats and then she pushed open the door to find her council glare daggers at one another.

"Can't you people ever just get along?" She asked, sarcasm coating her voice. Cassandra turned her murderous glare to Freya instead.

"I'm glad you find this amusing, Inquisitor." She said, her voice clipped and harsh. Freya flinched onlu slightly. She simply shrugged and walked further into the room, crossing her arms and glancing down at the war table.

"Oh I am so happy you could finally grace us with your presents, Inquisitor." Leliana said with obvious sarcasm, her tone not hiding the venom to her words. 'They have every right to be upset with me, but I couldn't care less...' Freya thought as she gave Leliana a big grin.

"Yeah I thought I should show my face at least once," She said with a laughing tone. "You know before you start killing each other." Leilana rolled her eyes, turning her gaze back to the war map.

"As I was saying before I was do rudely interrupted," She said, aiming her words towards Cullen, which didn't any respond from him whatsoever. "My people have located Solas last known whereabouts and-"

Freya slammed her hands down, making it tremble and shake, her magic the cause of this no doubt. "I thought I told you to leave Solas be?!" Freya shouted, her eyes fiery and her mouth pinched in a unpleasant way. Leliana only blinked at Freyas reaction to the news, staring her down for a moment before continuing.

"Yes, yes you did, but I took it upon myself to locate him," She said, looking to each concise member before she continued. "We thought it best to know where Solas is at the current time." Freya felt as if her mind was unraveling. She hadn't wanted to know where Solas was, not because she didn't miss him- it was clear she did, but because she knew that if she had known where he was that she wouldn't be able to stop herself from going. She wanted- no, she needed answers.

Freya let out a tired sigh, rubbing a hand over her face, as if she could erase the weakness she felt. "I do not wish to know where Solas is." She said, her voice weak, the sadness that was buried deep inside coating her words. "He left here after using the inquisition to achieve his goals. Anything he had to do with the inquisition," 'with me.' She thought. "Is gone." She finished, turning her back on the group and walking out, not looking back. They could only watch as she walked out, to afraid to mutter a word.

"It seems she is still in love with him..." Josephine said, quill in hand, hovering over her parchment, candle burning slowly. Cassandra let out a sigh, hung her head and leaning against the table.

"It would seem so..." Leliana said, words filled with sympathy for the elven woman. Cullen didn't dare speak for he had never truly been in love before so he didn't know how to express his... condolences for the elven womans failed...courtship? Cullen shook his head, thinking it better to not say anything.

"It has been two years," Cassandra said, slapping her hands against the table and standing up straight once again. "You would think she would have gotten over it by now." She said. Leilana looked to Cassandra, a look of subtle disgust on her face.

"The man she loved told her she didn't matter more then his ambitions," The Spymaster said, voice cold and hard as stone. "How would you feel after that, Cassandra?" She asked, but didn't wait for a reply, having disappeared in a blink of an eye, leaving the rest of them to contemplate her words.
