It was a normal day in Orario and finally a day that wasn't filled with chaos. I walked through the crowded streets of Orario as I made my way down to the dungeon. Many adventurer's walked through the streets and out of the many faces there was one that I was surprised to see. It was Miss Asfi Al Andromeda, the captain of the Hermes Familia.

She seemed to be waiting for someone. Our eyes met and the next thing I knew she was walking over to where I was standing.

"Mr. Cranel, I'm glad I found you. I was wondering if you could assist me in the dungeon?"

"Sure, I'm happy to help. I was headed down to the dungeon anyways."

I replied. Before she had a tense expression as if she was afraid to ask for my help but after I agreed she smiled slightly. It was one of the few times I've ever seen her smile. Being captain of the Hermes Familia she always put up a strong and stoic front but then again she usually had to be the responsible one when Lord Hermes was around.

"Thank you. I just need to go into the dungeon to collect materials and with your help it will be much faster."

-Floor 8 Of The Dungeon-

"So Ms. Asfi, what are we looking for exactly?"

As I followed behind Miss Asfi. I knew that she was one of Orario's greatest craftsmen so I assumed that we would be looking for materials.

"We're looking for Hellhound fangs. I need some for a new item I'm working on."

As soon as Miss Asfi told me about our targets we were attacked by a group of Hellhounds. We instinctively took our fighting stances and got ready for the battle ahead of us. Between the combined strength of two level 4's, we were able to quickly defeat the monsters that surrounded us.

As the battle was finished, Miss Asfi walked around the battlefield and picked up any and all Hellhound fangs that she could find while I stood back and made sure that no monsters tried to ambush the two of us. After she made sure the last of the items were picked up she walked over to me and took my hand.

I could feel a slight blush come to my cheeks. Afterall Miss Asfi was cute and she just took my hand out of the blue.

"Thank you, Mr. Cranel. This should be enough, here take this."

She placed a small pouch in my hand and closed it. I opened the small bag to inspect its contents and was surprised to say the least. Inside the bag was enough valis for a full day's work in the dungeon.

"Ms. Asfi, I can't take this! I was the one who wanted to help, I don't need a reward."

I protested as I tried to hand the pouch back over to her. We were only down here for probably not even two hours and it just felt wrong to take this much. However, Miss Asfi refused.

"Please, Mr. Cranel. I wouldn't have been able to get all of these materials without your help. If you don't want to consider it a reward, then consider it as future payment. I have a feeling I'm going to need to ask for your help again."

I sighed, knowing that I wasn't going to win this argument and placed the bag of valis into his item pouch.

"Alright, Ms. Asfi. If you ever need help again, just let me know and thank you for the valis."

Miss Asfi smiled, making it the second time she smiled since we've been together on our small expedition.

"Thank you, Bell."

Miss Asfi left and started to make her eay back up to the surface. I decided that I would stay in the dungeon and continue to train.

After the strange encounter a few days ago, I once again was with Miss Asfi as she asked for my help in the dungeon. We made our way down to the dungeon and it ended like last time with Miss Asfi giving me a pouch of valis and then returning to the surface. I was happy that I could help her and to be honest it was nice forming a party with her. With each dive into the dungeon I felt that we started to grow closer since it was basically just the two of us.

Another few days went by and it was strange that I didn't run into Miss Asfi, but that was about to change. Once again, just like the first day all of this started, I was heading to the dungeon and saw her in the crowd. This time I approached her and initiated the conversation. I also noticed that she was carrying more supplies than usual as well.

"Ms. Asfi, I was wondering if you needed my help again today?"

"Mr. Cranel, yes actually. I was wondering if you could come with me down to the 18th floor? I need to go to Rivira to pick up some supplies."

"Sure, I'll gladly go with you." I then glanced to the sky to get a hold on the time. "If we go to Rivira now we'll probably have to camp out there for the night."

"Yes, I'm aware of that, so we should try and get down there as fast as possible. We shouldn't have to worry about Goliath, I heard that a party already took care of him."

Once again we descended down into the depth of the dungeon, this time going farther than we have before.

The 18th floor, also known as Under Resort, is an artificial paradise that the dungeon provides. On the floor not many monsters spawn so it acts as a safe floor for weary adventurers. On this floor is a town called Rivira that sells overpriced items and overpriced rooms for adventurers. If one finds themselves on the floor it would be much better to just camp out than pay for an inn.

I stared at the beauty of the wide open dungeon floor. This was one of the first times I came down to the floor without having to end up fighting for my life.

"I forgot how beautiful it was down here."

I said aloud. Miss Asfi stood next to me and also admired the sight.

"Everytime I come down here I still like to admire the beauty. You can't find anything like this on the surface."

"I agree. Though I don't have the best memories of this floor. After being pass paraded, my party had to come down here, then Goddess Hestia got kidnapped, and we all had to fight the Black Goliath."

"I remember that well. If my memory serves right, Lord Hermes also tricked you into watching the female adventurers while they were bathing and then you proceeded to fall into the pond."

I remembered that moment all too well. But in my defense it was all because Lord Hermes wouldn't let me leave in the first place and he didn't tell me exactly what we were doing in the first place. As the memory replayed itself in my head I could feel the heat rise to my face.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that."

Asfi just laughed, which was the first time I've ever seen her laugh. She knew that it was Lord Hermes' fault since she was a witness and one of the female adventurers that I saw.

"Don't worry about it. After all it was Lord Hermes' fault in the first place. Don't blame yourself for a situation you couldn't control. Now, it's getting late, we should find somewhere to set up camp for the night."

"Alright."

We followed a path that led away from the entrance leading up to the 17th floor. Many trees that surrounded the pathway which was normal for Floor 18 considering most of it looked to resemble a forest you would find on the surface. We kept walking until we found a clearing that was little ways off the path and there was a small pond nearby. It was the perfect spot to set up camp.

After we set all of our stuff down we finally had a chance to relax for the first time since we started our descent.

"Mr. Cranel, would you mind finishing setting up camp. If you don't mind I'm going to go use the pond and clean up a bit."

Miss Asfi asked me.

"You don't need to keep calling me Mr. Cranel. We have been working together more recently, you can just call me Bell. And sure I'll take care of things here."

Miss Asfi smiled and had the sudden urge to tease the boy which she took the opportunity.

"And no peeking this time, Alright Bell?"

I started to turn bright red and he could feel myself getting warmer.

"Y-yes ma'am!"

She let out a quiet laugh as she left me alone and headed towards the relatively small pond. As I sat there setting up camp I couldn't help but notice how open Miss Asfi had become over these past few weeks. She seems like such a different person. Before I thought that she was more like Miss Ryu being all stoic and relatively quiet but I know now that wasn't the case.

For some reason while I thought about that I just thought about Miss Asfi in general. She was an amazing fighter and she was beautiful on top of that. With her sky blue hair and her sapphire colored eyes she had a very exotic look to her.

-Third Person POV-

When Asfi arrived at the pond, She then started to get undressed, ready to enjoy it. She sat down in the shallow water and it wasn't long before her thoughts started to drift. The only thing she didn't expect was where they would drift to, soon she started to think about Bell.

'He really is an innocent soul. It makes me wonder why he wanted to go into the dungeon in the first place. What drives him to come down here almost everyday? Either way he's determined and doesn't give up easily when push comes to shove, I like that about him. Not to mention he's honest, there aren't many people like him in this world anymore.'

After some time had passed, Asfi went to leave the pond. However, upon returning to where she had set her clothes, she finally noticed something was missing. She forgot to grab a towel from the camping supplies.

'Damn it! How could I forget that. I can't put my clothes on, I'm still soaking wet. I can't go back to camp completely naked either.'

Asfi scolded herself and started to blush as she knew she had only one option.

"Bell!"

Asfi yelled. But, as soon as she did she felt embarrassment erupt from her.

It wasn't long before Bell yelled back and responded.

"Yes, Ms. Asfi?"

"I need you to go into my bag and inside is a towel. Could you bring it to me?"

"Alright, give me a second."

Asfi waited, trying to cover herself, and after a minute had passed she started to hear rustling. Once again she spoke to Bell.

"Um, Bell, could you close your eyes please?"

Bell did as he was told and closed his eyes while trying to maneuver through the trees. But then something caught his foot and Bell fell. He still had his eyes closed and when he landed, there was a soft sensation in his right hand. Bell didn't know what it was and gave the object a squeeze. As he did that he was met by a quiet moan. Bell then opened his eyes and was met with a beautiful, glorious sight.

Laying underneath him was a bright red Asfi with an embarrassed look on her face not wearing anything. Bell instantly shot up off of her and started to panic.

"A-a-ah I-I'm sorryyyyyyyyyy!"

He shouted as he got up and ran back towards camp leaving the towel behind.

Asfi was so starstruck that she could hardly process what had just happened. She then got up and dried herself with the towel, got dressed, and headed back to camp, still bright red.

-Bell POV-

As soon as I realized what had just happened I immediately sprinted as fast as I could to escape the wrath of Miss Asfi. I knew what she was capable of. Last time when it was Lord Hermes he was almost unrecognizable and that was just for looking, but then again it was also caused by the other female adventurers.

I sat back down at camp in front of the fire that I created and waited for what seemed like an eternity until I had to face Miss Asfi.

In my mind I could still imagine the sensation that I felt and I could also picture Gramps giving me a thumbs up as a single tear ran down his face.

Miss Asfi finally returned to camp. As soon as I saw her I stood up and bowed to apologise for what just happened.

"Ms. Asfi, I am so sorry! I didn't mean for that to happen but I tripped over a root and..."

Miss Asfi cut off my apology.

"I-it's fine. No one was hurt and it was just a mistake. I know that you wouldn't do something like that on purpose. How about we both just pretend that it never happened?"

I was slightly surprised that Miss Asfi didn't end up yelling at me for what happened. She was just as embarrassed if not probably more than I was. It was strange to see her so bashful.

"O-okay."

I agreed, not wanting to add any fuel to the fire.

Miss Asfi sat down across from me. An agonizing awkward silence clouded the air around us.

"So um, Bell, what made you want to become an adventurer?"

Miss Asfi spoke, breaking the silence.

I collected his thoughts while staring into the dancing flames of the fire, and prepared to tell my story.

"Well, before I came to Orario, I lived with my Gramps and he told me all about Orario, stories of great heroes, and what it meant to be a hero. Then one day, I heard the news that he died while fighting a monster, his body fell down a ravine and they couldn't retrieve it. I had nothing left there for me so I did the only thing I could at the time. I decided that I wanted to be like those heroes in all the stories my Grandpa told me and I came to Orario."

Miss Asfi had a surprised look on her face. I kept the part out about getting rejected from different Familia's because I tried to join the Hermes Familia but was turned away and I didn't want to make her feel bad.

"That's quite the story Bell."

"So what about you, Miss Asfi?"

Miss Asfi did the same as I had done and looked into the dancing flames.

"I was actually the princess of a maritime nation. But since I was a princess that meant I couldn't go out and live a normal life because of my father. Everyday I would sit looking through my window across the sea, I wished to leave my small little world so much that I even took up writing music and poems about wanting to see the outside world. Then one day, Lord Hermes came to visit my father and he offered me to join his familia. I instantly took his offer and then he brought me to Orario."

I could relate to her story. When I first came to Orario no god or goddess would give me a chance, that was until Goddess Hestia found me and gave me an opportunity. Miss Asfi was the same in a way, her father controlled her life but then Lord Hermes offered her an opportunity.

"Ms. Asfi, you said that you wrote songs and poems. Do you still remember any by chance?"

I was curious as to what she hoped to find on the outside. Miss Asfi thought for a moment before answering.

"Yes, I do remember one. Why, would you like to hear it?"

I just simply nodded my head and that was enough confirmation for her.

"Alright I don't mind sharing it but I'm not sure how good it actually is."

Miss Asfi then closed her eyes and started to hum a melodic tune.

"Take me to where the land meets the sea

I want to see its beauty, just you and me

With waters clear as your soul

With memories drawn into sand

Won't you take me by the hand

Let us leave this forsaken land

Take me to the land, far beyond the sea

I want to see its beauty, just you and me

Take me to the land, far beyond the sea

I want you to hold me in your embrace

I want you to take me away from this place

Think of the memories that we could make

Think of the memories if we leave this place

Will you be my knight?

Will you be my day?

Will you be my fire?

Will you be my stone?

If you'll be my hero, I'll be your wife

And we'll be together for the rest of our life

If our book is over, don't shed a tear

I swear we'll meet again, please don't you fear"

I stared wide eyed and hung onto every word that she sang. She had the voice of an angel that would put some gods to shame.

"That was beautiful, Miss Asfi."

"Thank you. It wasn't the best I've written but it was the only one I could remember clearly."

Miss Asfi admitted with a small blush on her face.

"No, that was amazing! That was the best song I've ever heard. If you performed that infront of people I'm sure that they would all agree."

"Well the thing is, you're the only person who's ever heard me sing."

"Either way, I think you're amazing, Miss Asfi."

"Thank you, Bell. Now it's getting late, we should get some rest, we need to head back up to the surface tomorrow."

"Alright, Miss Asfi, Good night."

"Good night, Bell."

Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I noticed a lack of Asfi fanfics in general so I decided to write one. I hope my terrible music writing wasn't to bad but I promise is the only time I'll do it.
