Triton's POV - Loss of love
The world above is a wondeful place
But everyone knows...
...the true magic lies...
...under the sea.
..Where the water is clear, the fish swim free, and the mer-people live in the beautiful kingdom of Atlantica.
And it's King, Triton ruled the seas with a fair hand ... and an open heart.
No one loved music more than Triton's beloved queen, Athena.
She and their seven darling princesses fileld his life with joy and song.
Oh, the waves roll low
And the waves roll high
And so it goes
Under a bright blue endless sky
Waves try to measure
The days that we treasure
Wave hello and wave goodbye
Ah yes the king loved his queen and he took every opportunity to show her
Harmony...it was a magical time.
The pure rhyme of song filled life in Atlantica...
A bout of giggles hurls all the way around Athena and Triton and they are cut off from our intimate moment.
Triton turn to find the girls ducking behind a rock, Alana getting caught in the moment and yanked down after the rest of them.
He sneaks around the rock and dive underneath them, hoisting them up on his shoulders and thrusting ourselves back into the water.
Laughter rings all around them, Athena's laugh reaching his ears first.
They play in the cove, exploring its depths and lounging in the sun upon the rocks. All is well, all is grand, all is perfect.
But even the brightest days can be darkened by an unseen tempest
The setting sun is blocked, leaving a dark aura lingering among them. Voices shout in the distance, familiar accents and tones that make Triton's spine tingle. Then it comes into sight. A ship, the large mast blocking the sun from their view. The human ship, not just any human ship, he thinks to himself, a pirate ship Jolly Roger and it's coming straight towards the mer-people!
" Go!" Triton says bellow across the cove, signaling for everyone to leave the area. Chaos erupts as he shelters his daughters and help them escape, Athena frees Attina's tail and she plunges into the depths.
He looks back to the ship to find none other than Captain Hook, a malicious and bloodthirsty grin spread across his face. He dive into the depths after my family, only to realize... Athena didn't come back.
"Athena! No!" He yells desperately, but it is too late.
He watch as the ship crashes into his wife, he does however feel relieve when she is revealed to be alive later but the pirates already had been boarded her.
A young and slender pirate,with long black hair, who wears a red coat smiled cynically at the sea king.
Before the king could attack the ship he couldn't believe his eyes as the pirate ship started to raise above the water, now the ship flied at unimaginable height and distance until it disappeared out of sight on the second star to the right.
Athena's POV - No way back
Athena moved quickly to get the rock off freeing Attina
Everyone swims down in the water to escape the evil pirates
Somewhere in the chaos Queen Athena was lost as the humans attacking them threw grappling hooks to get the hold of their treasure including the music box her husband gifted to her.
'NO' Unwilling to lose her special music box, Athena makes a move for it.
She takes the music box but notices that the pirate ship was closing in on her
She wanted to get out of the way but it was too late as the ship crashed into her, pushing her against a rock
She blacked out
She slowly wakes up afterwards, hearing some rough voices
'We got her Captain!'
She opens her eyes, she felt a tange of pain and tried not to move too much. She did notice that she was trapped in a ropes'
'Well well look who do we have here '
Athena staggered. The voice was familiar, too familiar. She got the idea who and it makes her look upwards.
The Pirate before her had a red coat, a black hair and crazed eyes.
'It can't be...What are you doing here Hook?'
The Pirate Captain smiled sinisterly
'So you do remember me? I'm so touched.'
He said the latter with a angry tone
'Because I never forget you and your merpeople which drown my crewmembers?! You bet that I did not'
Athena's eyes open wide as she's looking down for a moment.
'But how did-'
'How did we found you? Smee elaborate to our guest'
A fat old man look down at her in sadness, he didn't like seeing her like that. He closes his eyes before the gets himself together.
'My apologies miss Athena'
She remembered Smee as well. He was a loyal crewmember, perhaps Hook's most loyal one. He wasn't as malicious though and genuinely feels sad for her
'We were told of you and your Lagoon party by a mermaid Vanessa'
Hook points out 'Well she prefers to be called Ursula'
Athena was surprised at the name. Ursula was once living in Atlantica but she was banished due to her dark magic.
'We cut a deal that if I capture you, she'll help me deal with Peter Pan.'
'Peter Pan' she knows that name very well. The name of a boy in neverland, a name of her friend
'She lies to you. She'll just use you until you are no longer needed'
Hook didn't look surprised or shaken 'Mmm maybe but even if so, I have you' He said as he motions his sword to her face
Athena realised what he meant in disbelief
'NO! You wont use me for this!'
'Ouh I believe I will, you see we are not exactly on water at the moment
Athena looked around and she saw that the ship she was on was flying off somewhere. She knew where they were taking her.
To a place she left a long time ago, a place that was home but turned into prison.
She twitched uncontrollably trying to get out of her trapped state much to the amusement of her captors
And just as the ship reaches the high sky, they start to get close to the stars residing on it.
And as they start entering from this world, Athena looks down again this time in tears.
'Triton. Ariel. Attina. Everyone...I'm sorry'
And on that day his wife was taken from him.
Each lovely note of her melody seemed to deepen the king's anguish....he couldn't bare to hear it.
From that moment on, the king's heart stayed dark and music was banned from Atlantica...forever
