Vio:…..I have no shame for this, and I do not regret crossing this line.
Leo: Why would you write this?! T-T
Leonardo: You need to learn. *Smacks Leo with a rolled-up newspaper* No simping! ):I
Raph: *On the floor wheezing* XD
Vio: Leonardo's right – anyways *giggles* I do NOT own TMNT!
. . . . . .
No Simping Here
. . . . . .
It was an accident.
Leo knew deep down that Donnie didn't mean to send them spiraling into another dimension that held their much older, much cooler counterparts. He couldn't help but to be utterly memorized by his older counterpart who was, at the moment, reading the newspaper (how he looked so cool doing it, Leo had no idea). His other brothers were also with their respective selves, doing their…..usual things. Raph was with Raphael and they were both sharing the punching bag and sharing stories about beating people into a pulp. Donnie was with Donatello in his lab speaking in hushed tones, sleep-deprived eyes scanning the lit screens of the computers. As for the last two, Leo was at first worried that Mikey would start running amok and causing havoc, but the youngest teen was busy in the kitchen with Michelangelo cooking up new recipes that were – hopefully – edible.
"A penny for your thoughts?"
Leo most certainly did not jump when a husky tone spoke up from beside. He turned to see Leonardo staring at him, eye-ridges raised curiously.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"You already did, but go ahead anyways." The humorous retort built onto his confidence and brought a small smile to his face.
Leo licked his lips nervously, "Does Karai exist here?"
A scowl appeared on Leonardo's face and his silver eyes turned to ice. "What about her?" His narrowed eyes then widened and he stared at the smaller turtle, "Do you like Karai?"
Leo was taken aback by the harsh response but flushed at the second question, "She's beautiful." He admitted, a love-struck look threatening to show, "I want to save her from the Shredder and get her away from that monster, but all she ever does is stab me in the back." His shoulders slumped, "I wish she could at least trust me."
"No."
SMACK!
"Did you just smack me with a newspapaer?!"
Leonardo sneered, "And I'll fucking do it again, you dense little punk!"
Everyone in the lair was dead silent after Leonardo spoke up. Rapahel was making an 'oof, there it is.' face while Michelangelo and Donatello shared nervous glances. His brothers were a whole different story though; Mikey was watching with wide eyes and had his mouth covered. Donnie's jaw was open in shock and his eyes looked as if they were going to pop out of his sockets, and Raph – the traitor – was rolling on the floor gasping for air as he wiped his eyes.
Before he could say anything, the tip of the newspaper was shoved into his nose and nervous blue met cold silver in a silent stare-off. "You stay the hell away from her, do you hear me?"
"You're not my dad!" He sputtered aloud.
"No the hell I'm not, but that woman has drug me through the depths of hell and back and I refuse to see you go down the same path."
Leonardo stood up and pointed at a scar along his plastron, "She shoved a damn katana through my body, impaling me." Leo felt like a bucket of ice had been poured on him. "Oh, and not to mention-" he indicated towards the lair itself, "-this is our new lair because she blew the old one up and, for a horribly, gut-wrenching few seconds I believed my family to be dead."
Leo didn't say anything as Leonardo forced himself to calm down. The older sighed and pulled him in for a hug, "Don't trust her, ok? I don't want you to turn out like me."
He hugged back, "…yeah."
"No simping?"
Leo snorted, and smiled back at Leonardo as they both pulled back, "No simping."
The moment was ruined when Raph decided to open his mouth, "What about Donnie?" Everyone looked at him. "He simps for April."
The green-eyed turtle stared hopefully at Leonardo, "Can you fix him too?"
"I-I do not simp!" Donnie spluttered but quickly went quiet when Leonardo raised his newspaper silently.
"No. Simping."
"Yes sir."
. . . . . .
I did not expect this to turn out a bit serious, but I think it works. Now let's see if Leonardo can stop Donnie's simping too.
