He found her sitting in a chair. It was her favourite chair, all large in a brownish colour and leather-upholstered. But his eyes laid only on her, clothed in a floating lightrosé dress with a high collar and no fabric covering her slender arms.

Her endless long legs were draped over the armrest and her head rested on the back of the chair cushion, her eyes closed. She probably had been falling into sleep while she waited for him getting home from work. This thoughts brought even more guild into his heart, all this conferences with more investors were always getting so long houred, he was barely home at a certain time these days.

He knew he was too late for their dinner date, but because of that he could just stand here a couple of minutes and admiring her. He was such a lucky man getting greeted by such a beauty in his home. As if she knew he was there, she awoke and slightly smiled at him. Without saying a word he filled two tumblers with whisky, handed her one while she removed her legs onto a nearby standing small table, so he could sit next to her. He found a comfortable position with his right arm behind her resting on the back of the chair. She leaned into his shoulder, sipped her drink and closed her eyes again. He could feel how she slowly tried to relax against him.

"I'm sorry. I know I'm late, but I brought you flowers." he tried to lighten up the mood with a wiggle of his eyebrows and an apologizing smile on his lips. "Maybe we should put them in a vase, they probably need water." he pointed out with a small laugh. "Mmh." She made an approving sound and peeked with one eye open up to him. He smiled at her, one of those large happy smiles that made her weak in the knees and woke the wish in her, she could undress him, right here, right now. Pull at that three piece suit he filled so well, just for a little bit of fun in the late evening. But he just slightly shook his head, as if he knew exactly what salacious thoughts were going through her head. But there was also this promise in his eyes, a promise of all the things he could do to her, with her and the possibility of so much more. He stood up, took the glass out of her hand, set both on the table and hauled her off her comfortable leather chair.

"Let me get the vase and you get the flowers." She shoved at him slightly, went for the kitchen and came back with a transparent glass vase with a handle like from a tea pot and which was now half full filled with water from the sink. She placed it at the window board in the living room and stepped closer to him, looking up. This was one of the reason why she fell in love with him, she could see the world in his eyes, sometimes they had the shade of a dark stormy sea and then there was this times, when he was happy, his eyes had the colour of bright tropical waters with little dashes of corals in them.

She took the flowers from him and held them under his nose, so he could get a scent from them. Maybe she shoved them a little too hard into his face, she doesn't even knew herself if it was on purpose or not, because instantly he got a sneezing attack. She started laughing, like full laugh with head thrown back and sparks in her eyes.

"That was not very nice." He grabbed the flowers away from her with a pout on his face. Still with a bright smile on her lips she took them away from him again: "They're really beautiful, thank you." Then she arranged his floral gift into the vase with him watchin her every move. She wasn't even completely finished when he took her hand, swirled her around and gave himself the perfect welcome into their home.
