The fields outside Lastation City, Night-time.
Noire and Uni had a busy day doing various quests and now they're resting a bit gazing at the clear starry night sky.
Uni turned to Noire and said "Hey Noire.".
Noire looked over to Uni and responded "Yes Uni?".
"You've changed a lot lately." said Uni.
Noire was confused and asked back "Huh? What do you mean?".
Uni answered "You've been spending a lot more time with me over these past few months. Yesterday we went to Rebeat Resort and went swimming in the sea, last week we spent the day out at the amusement park, and we've even done activities like rock climbing and whitewater kayaking. You've also been taking K-Sha out at least once a week too. I'm not complaining about this… But… It's… Just… In the past whenever you'd promised you'd take a day off and spend some time with me you'd always end up cancelling at the last moment as something requiring your duties as a Goddess would suddenly show up. So I find it feels kinda weird at times that your actually spending more time with me like a regular big sister would. I-I've just been really used to you being a bit strict. That's all.".
Noire looked at Uni silently for a second and then closed her eyes and turned her head down "After everything I… We went through during The CPU Shift Period and Heartdimension, it really made me realize how important life is a lot more.".
Uni looked surprised "Huh?".
Noire carried on "You remember what I said when K-Sha saved your life?".
Uni thought for a second "You mean that you won't let go of me and you'll always be right by my side?".
Noire responded back "Yes! That! When I said that I really meant it and I want to stick to my promise as much as possible.".
Uni goes up to Noire and gives her a hug "Oh Noire!".
Noire hugs Uni as well "Also I'd like to confess something.".
Uni stopped hugging Noire and looked surprised "What is it Noire?".
Noire's face went kinda sad looking "You probably had a hint of this while you were looking into my dreams in Heartdimension… But… I've… Been thinking of retiring from my Goddess Duties at some point soon and pass the torch over to you Uni.".
Uni looked stunned shocked "H-How come!? I-I'm not ready yet!".
Noire placed her hand on Uni's cheek looking at her with a smile "Of course you're ready. You were the one who broke me out of jail while I was framed. You pushed me out of the virus mist even though you knew you could have died. You helped rescue me from Kurome. You and the other Candidates protected Hyperdimension while I and the other Goddesses dealt with Heartdimension. Of course your ready.".
Uni looked at Noire, her eyes were starting to crack up "A-Are you sure they'll like me?".
Noire answered back "Of course they will. You may not realize it but you do have quite a lot of fans even if they're not as vocal as mine.".
Uni starts to hug Noire again "Y-You really mean that?".
Noire responded "Yes I do. The other week I enrolled in a voice acting audition and I ended up being selected. I'd like to make sure I can pass the nation over to you in time for when my new career starts really taking off. It's something I've been dreaming to do and I don't really want anything to get in the way of it.".
Uni hugs Noire very tightly "Oh Noire!".
Noire looks surprised "Don't worry Uni it won't be for another year or so. I'll have plenty of time to make sure you're fully prepared.".
Noire takes off one of her rings "By the way, take this.".
Uni looks at the ring "Huh? Isn't that one of your rings? Are you sure about giving it to me?".
Noire replied back "Yes I am. Kei gave me these rings as good luck charms during my Goddess Coronation Ceremony so I'd like to give you one now to wish you luck on becoming a mature Goddess.".
Uni looked at Noire with tears down her eyes "N-Noire. I-I don't know wh-what to s-say…".
Noire wiped away Uni's tears "I think it's best time we head back to The Basilicom as it's getting rather late now.".
Uni kept looking at Noire and she smiled. "Y-Yes it is…".
Noire and Uni got up and transformed flying back to The Lastation Basilicom.
