I know you guys have been wanting the next chapter of Evo but I've been working hard on making it. Because I want to work on the problems with season 4 and beyond to try and make it better than the show but I've been struggling with how to fix some of it. And I've gone back to losing interest. But if anyone wants to help me with fixing the problems with the show so I can make the story more better than what the show became then send me a PM and we'll talk from there. I appreciate all of your guys support and I hope to get back to Evo but it's difficult. But without further ado, here's my new story.
This takes places during season 2 but before he meets Caesar
Rex Salazar
"Ok, I'll give you guys the recap. Thanks to these microscopic machines called nanites, I can build cool gear out of my body. I'm whats called an EVO. But most Evos aren't like me. They mainly look like deformed monsters. And don't even get me started on how they smell."
"I couldn't even begin to list off the amount of creatures I've seen. But there is one thing that I can do that makes me more special than the others. I can cure some Evos. That why I work for Providence. We're the people you call when an Evos attacking your lawn or attacking a city. And the worst of them all is a man named Van Kleiss.
The last time I met him, things got out of hand and we pretty much had out butts handed to us. He stole the Keep, wrecks head quarters, and hijacked my nanites to get back the powers I stole from him. And now he can make people into Evos. And to make matters worse, his lackey Biowulf through me over board at 6,000 feet. Not that any one is keeping score."
"Van Kleiss may be back but so am I. so what if he can make Evos I can still cure them. He may have new powers but guess what I do to. ever Since my powers came back, I've got the ability to make amazing new machines now I just have to figure out to make more. But here's a story about how there was one Evo in the whole world that actually loved me rather try to kill me."

Providence Headquarters
It had been a few months after Van Kleiss's attack on Providence headquarters and they had finally managed to fix it all.
Rex could finally move back into his room, or what could be considered a room for him. Now he was off doing something very, very, very secretive.
"In a world where Evos run amok and the world is thrown into mass panic. Only one man in this world is the only thing that can bring this world out of insane chaos that we call life. Now he begins his journey to find some disturbances out in the sea. Can he manage to teach this mysterious being a lesson. Can he..." monologged Rex as he was still doing his secret. But it was all stopped by a door opening...
...showing Rex in a bathtub, holding his bath toys. The whole secret thing was just this embarrassing thing Rex does in the tub.
"Can that man also hurry up cause we've just been called for a meeting" said Agent Six, who stood at about 6 ft tall wearing his normal attire, which consisted of a greens suit, white undershirt, black tie, brown shoes, and black sun glasses and wearing his same disapproving scowl. Though he normal wore sunglasses all the time, he had brown eyes underneath them.
He was a man that's a senior Providence agent and Rex's handler. His name came from the fact that he is the sixth most dangerous person in the planet. Due to Six's strict by-the-book personality, Rex goes as far as to refer to him as a "nanny, just more aggro". But secretly, Rex saw him as a father figure, in a sense. He's not a normal man but they he's always had his back for him and trying to teach him about life, Rex began to see him like that but he still tends to question that sometimes.
Rex gasped as he grabbed his toys and tried his best to hide them under the water as he yelled "Don't you ever knock."
Six just kept the same face as he said "Don't you know its silly to have bath toys even for a teenager."
Rex just stared at his "hidden toys" and just grunted as he said "Let me dry off and I'll be there. Now close the door before anyone else sees" as he glared at Six.
Six just let out a sigh as he closed the door to leave Rex alone.
Rex sighed as he said " last time I checked this was my bath" as he drained the tub and grabbed his towel and began drying off.
"Yep. This is my life" thought Rex as he dried off. Then went to change into his normal attire, which consisted of a white and blue t-shirt with two orange lines on it, a red jacket with orange at the ends of the sleeves as well as on the bottom of his jacket and 2 stripes near the shoulder part of his jacket, and dark pants with blue shapes on it, and he wore brown goggles on top of his head.
Rex sighed as he then looked up at the ceiling in frustration and said "*sigh* I ask for one day off and I get this. Well, at least its not toilet duties this time" then began running to the briefing room.

Providence meeting room
Rex kept running till he made it to the briefing room, which was a giant room, filled with many screen that it could give a sports bar a run for its money, with the middle of the room having a glowing, lime green screen of the entire world in it.
Rex walked in and saw everyone was busy working but he didn't pay any attention to them and just walked towards the front of the room.
There he saw his partner Agent 6 but to the left of him was another person he had come to treasure a lot. There was a tall woman, about as tall as Six, wearing a white lab over an orange turtleneck, with a dark grey skirt, and black, knee high, high heeled boots, and had her hair tied up in a bun. This was Dr. Holiday, Rex's doctor.
Admittedly, he found her pretty and tried flirting with her but he soon gave up on that. He also didn't say it but as time went on, he saw how much she did care about him and soon he found her to be like a mother figure to him, in a sense.
He then saw his good friend sitting in a chair reading the newspaper and not really caring what was going on. In the chair was a monkey with brown fur, wearing a dull green shirt and shorts with light blue on the sleeves, shoulder plates, with an orange belt, an eyepatch on his left eye and wore a red fez. This was Bobo Haha. Rex's Evo sidekick and buddy. And surprisingly, he could talk too.
"What is it Six. I was hoping to go the movies later today so this better be important" grumbled Rex as he stopped right next to him.
"Every mission is important Rex, and as a member of Providence, you should know this already" boomed a voice over the biggest screen in the whole room. On the screen was an old man, whose name seemed too on the nose. He was an older man, with pale skin, snow white hair, and a very square chin. He wore a white suit coat over a black shirt, while also wearing white pants and white shoes. This was White Knight, the man in charge of Providence. Seriously, how on the nose does that sound for the way he looks.
"Yea, yea. Just hurry up and spill the beans so we can this done" said Rex as he put his hands in his pockets.
Knight sighed as he said "*sigh* Theres been a disturbance in the suburban region of Geneva, Switzerland. We've been getting calls about a Evo scaring folks and leaving webs everywhere it goes. I've tasked you to deal with it."
"Seriously, Switzerland. That's hours away. Can't we send others to do our job" exclaimed Rex.
"And it's 'your' job to take those hours and do your job. No excuses, not even for movies" exclaimed White Knight.
He then continued saying "Besides, we did dispatch a party there but when they got there, they were in... quite the sticky situation" as his screen transitioned to a photo of several Providence vehicles and soldiers in a mess as they were all tangled in what looked like giant spider webs. Then next to the screen showed a medical file.
"Good news was that no one was hurt. Just incapacitated to where the Evo got away. Another reason I want you and Six to handle this situation" finished Knight as his screen turned off.
Six turned to Rex and said "You heard the man. Lets go" as he turned around and headed to the exit.
"But Six. It's the new live action "Dan Vs" movie, opening this week. I got to see it" said Rex, trying to reason with Six.
Six turned to him without changing his expression and said " Sorry kid. Maybe next time" as he turned around walked out the exit. Rex grumbled as he just slumped over and walked away with Six.
"Ahahahaha. Sorry kid. I'll be sure to tell you all about it when you get back" laughed Bobo as he saw Rex and Six walk away.
Holiday sighed as she looked at him with an irked face and said "Why must you pester him."
"What can I say. The kids easy to tease. What with all the rotten luck he's had" said Bobo as he leaned back in his chair and put his hands behind his head.
Then White Knight came back on screen and said "And take the monkey with you" then he turned off.
Bobo's eyes widened at the sudden words of Knight then grew an annoyed face.
Holiday just giggled as she said "What was that about rotten luck."
"Shaddup" grumbled as he trundled over to the exit and left.

After riding in one of the scout ships for what seemed like hours for Rex and Bobo, they finally managed to make in to Geneva, Switzerland.
"Huh, not a bad place. For an old folks retirement plan" joked Rex as he gazed out the window but then his thoughts were interrupted by Six saying,
"All right look alive men. This Evo has been told to have been in the suburban areas so we'll have to send out several teams of 2. One team to send in and find it but keep the other team on the outside so it doesn't escape" said Six as he began reading the reports.
"Don't suppose we can be the ones on the outside of the area" said Rex as he and Bobo grew fake smiles trying to get out of working. Six just turned to them and raised his eyebrow. And already, the two Evos already knew what he was thinking.
"*Sigh* fine" Rex and Bobo said in unison.
The scout ship stopped and stayed hovering in the air until two fighter jets came out of the ship and began descending down to the city. Rex and his party began heading towards the suburbs that were close to the mountains.
"Alright, my team will head in and try and find the Evo while the others will stay on the outside" said Six into an intercom.
"Copy that Agent 6" said someone on the other line as they cut off from each other.
"So remind me again what we're doing" asked Rex.
"The Evo has been bothering the suburban areas of this city and its caused a lot of trouble. It's been said to chase cars, attack other animals, and leaves webs everywhere it goes. And when our search party went to see what was wrong, the creature left them covered in webs as well. None were seriously injured, only left with a few scratches. Its a strange case and its one we need to find out what it is" said Six as the ship began lowering itself down onto the streets.
"First floor. Mutant spiders, angry neighbors, and bad cable connections" joked Bobo as the back door began to open.
"Ding" went Rex as the jet finally set down. Then the back door began to open. Several soldiers began walking out of the jet and began running down the streets, scouting the perimeter.
"Ok so where is our target" said Rex as he joined everyone. But as soon as he said that, Six listened to his ear piece and then nodded as he let go saying, "On route in our direction."
"Oh. Well that makes things easier" said Rex as he began looking down one end of the street. Then from behind a few houses, they all heard trash cans being hit, car alarms going off, with the occasional cat meowing in a very panicked way.
"Everyone in positions" said Six as he dropped his hands down and out popped two handles from his sleeves but then popped out two long blades with the shape of a trapezoid on the ends of them, and that looked like a tuning fork when connected together.
Bobo pulled out his guns, which were a pair of red energy guns, while Rex just donned his goggles and readied himself in a defensive position.
"Alright, lets see what were dealing with" said Rex as he smirked with anticipation. They kept hearing the clutter sounds getting closer and then from out of nowhere came their target as it tripped and rolled over into the streets.
There was, what looked like a blue furred, EVO dog with arachnid features. It had 6 eyes and 6 legs and had 1 sharp claw on the ends of the legs replacing its paws, sharp fangs near its mouth, and a stinger tail at the end.
The EVO groaned as it turned back to see a providence tanker driving towards itself, so it quickly got back up, and began running towards Rex's group.
Rex looked at the EVO and smirked as he then said "Well, welcome to the party fido, now why don't we play fetch" said Rex as he began to send his nanites into his right arm and out popped his slam cannon, a giant orange, grey, and silver like cannon.
Then the maw in the back of the cannon opened up and took a big bite out of the street. Rex then began running towards the EVO. He the fired a shot at the dog. Rex thought he would've hit his mark but the EVO dog managed to dodge his shot. He then fired more shots but the EVO kept dodging his attacks. But when the last shot he had was fired at the EVO, the EVO opened its mouth and out came spiderwebs.
It caught the shot and had enough force to fly back and hit Rex and cause him to fall down. Rex groaned as he spat out some of the webs fired at him as the EVO ran right past him and began heading towards Six and the others. Bob fired several shots at the EVO but it dodged his shots as well. Even the Providence agents, who were many in numbers, fired at the EVO and couldn't manage to land a shot as it kept running towards them.
Six then stepped up and began running towards the EVO with his swords in hand. He was coming up close to it and just as he swung his blades at it, the Evo's tail came down and stopped his attack. Then the EVO swung its head and knocked Six to the side as it spat out spiderwebs and caught six in its trap.
It then turned and ran away. As a hail of bullets kept coming for the EVO, it spat out more webs and covered the agents in webs.
It got Bobo as well but all he said was "Great. This'll never wash out. This vest was dry clean only."
Then the EVO jumped on top of the shuttle, and jumped down getting over it and began running down the streets as the dogs weight on the ship made it tip over and fall down.
Six cut his way out as he looked at the escaping EVO running down the streets.
"Its escaping into the city" he yelled.
"Don't worry. I'm on it" said Rex from behind Six but as Six turned to see Rex, he saw that Rex was having trouble trying to get out of the webs.
"As soon as I get out of this" said Rex as he then formed his B.F.S, which stood for Big Fat sword. Enough said on what that means.
He then pulled a level on it and he activated the buzzsaw function on his sword and cut himself out of the webs. He pulled the remaining webs off and began running in the direction of the Evo.
"I got this Six" as he then formed his Boogie Pack, which was a pair of fan wings, which was what made him fly, and began chasing after the EVO.
He flew as fast as he could but when he flew in the direction of the EVO, it wasn't there.
"What. Where did it go" he said nervously as he stopped as hovered in the air as he looked around for the EVO dog. Then he heard some cluttering noises from a few streets away from him. He then flew as fast as he could towards the noise. Then, as he got closer, the EVO began turning a corner and began running out into the streets in the opposite direction of Rex.
Rex then flew down and began charging towards the EVO. He was getting closer and closer to The EVO and then held out his hands and they began to glow blue lines, which only meant one thing. He was going to cure the EVO.
"Alright. Just a little bit more, you mangy mutt" as just as he came closer the EVO, the EVO then barrel rolled to the left of itself and just as it did that, it brought its stinger tail around and then swung at Rex's wings, and ended up slicing it. Then it landed back on all six's and continued running.
But as it did that, the part the the tail hit, soon slid off Rex's pack and he began flailing around as he tried to gain control again but it didn't work as he then began spinning around and around and ended up crashing into the road and tumbled away, and smashed himself into someone's car, letting the siren go off.
Rex groaned as he shook his head and as he looked up, he was sprayed with more of the dogs spider webs. He groaned and spat out any webs that got in his mouth as he looked through the webs as best he could and saw the Evos running away.
Rex groaned as he said "Whats the deal with this thing. How does it keep dodging our attacks. It's like it knows" said Rex as he formed his sword again and cut himself out of the webs.
"That's probably because it does" said a voice over his ear piece, which turned out to be Holiday.
Rex then listened to her as he asked "Give the shorten version of what you mean, Doc."
"Most spiders have eight eyes in various arrangements. Spiders eyes are single lenses rather than compound eyes, ranging from simple light/dark-receptors to eyes rivaling those of a pigeon. Some species of the Haplogynae family have six eyes, although some have eight, four, or even two eyes. Sometimes one pair of eyes is better developed than the rest, or even, in some cave species, there are no eyes at all. From what I've seen, this Evo has 6 eyes. Plus, spiders will react quickly when they feel movement in their webs and their hairs act like sensor so they can detect movement so the fact that you make so much noise, tells the EVO to react quickly and escape whatever danger might approach it. This might be a tricky, Rex, so be careful" finished Holiday over the speaker.
Rex sighed as he said "I asked for shortened version and you gave me a college essay. *sigh* thanks for the tip doc" said Rex as he then formed his Rex rider, which was a orange, silver, and grey motorcycle that hovered above ground.
But before he could go after it, he was clonked on the head for by a hard metal pole.
"Owww" said Rex as he held his head in pain. He then turned and saw an old lady looking at him with an angry expression.
'What in the heck are you whipper snappers doing this day an age. Just look at my car and look this mess..." yelled the old lady as she swung her cane around but Rex didn't have time for this so he pulled out his phone and gave it to the lady saying "Here call this and complain" as he then drove off after The EVO.
That little argument gave Rex and the EVO some distance. Rex drove as fast as he could and he didnt want to lose the EVO again. He saw that they were driving into the city so as to not cause more damage, Rex decided that,
"If this dog keeps being rough with the neighbors, they're going on a leash" As he began to charge his nanites and out popped his Caster Blaster, a long whip with a blue round back on his back.
He threw the whip forward and he managed to wrap it around the Evos neck.
"Ha, I got it Holiday" said Rex but he said it too soon. For as the EVO felt the whip around its neck, It ran off in different direction, which ruined out to be a busier road than they were on, and rex didn't have time to act as he was pulled with the EVO and he soon lost his ride and he found himself being dragged behind by the EVO through the streets.
Cars were beeping and honking as Rex was dragged across the road. He tried to stand up but tripped and ended up on top of his round pack and continued to be dragged as sparks flew from underneath him. He then flipped over and then began to try to run with the EVO but he couldn't keep up and kept taking giants steps as his legs couldn't keep up.
"Woah, woah. Heel, boy. Or girl. Or whatever." yelled Rex as he as then sent electrical current through his whip towards the EVO mutt. The Dog growled and groaned in pain as its halted to a stop, which Rex wasn't ready for as he went flying ahead of it and hitting the ground with a thud.
"*groan*. Go to Switzerland, they said. Do your job, they said. Oíe vey, and for this I missed the movies" said Rex as he dropped his whip build and turned over onto his stomach. He then caught a glimpse of the EVO running down the streets then turned a corner.
Rex groaned in annoyance as his formed his wings and began chasing after the dog again. He flew around the corner and saw the EVO dog running right into the subway system.
Rex groaned as he said "You've got to be kidding me" then he held his finger to his ear piece and said "Six. I found The EVO but it ran into the subway system."
"Where are you" asked Six over the ear piece.
"Uh... 36 and 7 street. Now I've got to go" said Rex as he flew towards the subway stairs. As he deactivated his wings and began running, he heard screams from down the stairs. He ran down as fast as he could without tripping down the stairs. He then saw people running up the stairs and fleeing in terror. Rex tried his best to get through the crowd but it proved to be difficult.
He finally managed to get past everyone as he made his way down. He saw the ticket turning thing but didnt have time for it so he managed to jump over it and continued to run. He finally managed to make it to the main part of the subway system.
He looked around and saw several people cowering in fear but he also saw spider webs around the main area, even on the ceiling.
"Sheesh. Hate to be the guy that has to fix that" said Rex as he continued to look at the ceiling.
"You're telling me" said a voice, to which Rex turned and saw a man wearing your typical janitor clothes. A cap and overall over a shirt, while holding a mop as he was covered in spider webs.
"Ooo, sorry. Uhh, you wouldn't happen to have seen what did this, right?" asked Rex.
"Yea, thing came running in, messed the whole place up and ran into the tunnels. Where to, I don't know" said the man as he pointed to the tunnel.
"Alright thanks" said Rex as he formed his wings and flew straight down into the tunnel.
"Kids. Them and their darn pets" grumbled the janitor as he tried to mope up the webs on the ground.

It was very dark in the tunnel. Rex could hardly see a thing. The best source of light that he had was from the subway main terminal but the more he kept trying to find the EVO, the more farther away from the light he was. He soon deactivated his wings and stopped on a side platform away from tracks.
"Man its hard to see in here" said Rex as he squinted his eyes. But then he remembered something. He did have a source of his own light. He held out his arms and formed his Fun-chucks, a pair of giant nun-chucks.
The light from the build lit up the area he was in. He just saw the tunnel going down the way as he began to follow but as he as he did that, he heard several metallic thuds coming from a different direction of the the tracks. He waved his light around to find the source of the sound and then he stopped and shined the light over to a far part of the tunnel. There, he saw an opening in a brick wall but it was strange. Because the bricks were on the outside of the hole, instead of in. This indicated that something or someone broke out of the wall there.
"I guess it was old fido" thought Rex as he began making his way over to the hole. It was very dark in the room and Rex could see in it. he knew that the EVO must've been down here, but he wasn't a fan of giant, dark places but he knew he had to find the EVO. So he stepped through the hole, trying to be silent.
When he stepped into the room, he could sort of see what was in the room but his light didn't catch everything. He waved his light around to try and see if there was an old light switch he could turn on. He then saw a doorway and above it was a sign just hanging by a thread as he looked closer and all that It said was "Control" but the rest was scratched off it.
"Guess that's the control room. Maybe I can get it working so I can see better" said Rex as he deactivated his builds and turned the handle to open the door. He stepped inside then formed his Fun-chucks again so he could see inside. The room was covered in cobwebs, smaller ones, and dust as Rex moved his light around and saw several consoles and panels and small rounded tv screens in the form of a curve.
Rex walked over to the panels and then deactivated his builds, losing his only light but he didn't care. He then put his hands on the console.
"Heres to hoping this works" said Rex as he sent his nanites into the console, telling them to turn on the lights. After a few seconds, Rex heard electrical sounds as a light began flickering over his head. He looked up to see most of the lights in the room were flickering, giving Rex some for of light. He then let go of the console and began heading back to the room he was in.
When he stepped back into the room, he could see it more clearly. The room looked like a part of the Subway system but he could tell that it was old. The holes where the tracks were suppose to be at were all gone, some of the poles that held up the roof were missing, no lights on in the room, not to mention It was covered with graffiti.
"Yeesh, talk about horror set" said Rex as he looked at the room. He began walking around the room but just as he began walking around the room, he heard what sounded like a stampede coming towards him.
"Speaking of horror" he thought as he tried to find the source of the stomps but before he had time, he was knocked back from his back as he went flying forward. As he landed, he turned around and saw the evo dog looking at him.
"Alright Perro, or Perra, since you want to play, why don't you play dead" said Rex as his whip again and threw it towards the EVO dog, but the dog just moved out of the way and began running towards Rex. Before Rex could do anything, the EVO managed to jump onto Rex and pin him down.
Rex could see the EVO was snarling at him as web fluid dripped from its mouth. In that split second, Rex was about to form his punk busters which were a giant pair of mechanical boots.
But then he realized that he had his best shot to try and cure the EVO. He shot his hand out and touched the Evos chest as he sent his nanites to try and cure it. He tried but it wasn't working.
"Oh no. It must've been an animal" before thought Rex as he tried to cure it but he couldn't make it out of this situation but soon he tired himself out and his nanites returned to his body as he looked back at the EVO. But when he did, the EVO seemed different this time.
The EVO wasn't snarling anymore and it didn't seem to have that evil look in its eyes. It seemed more calm and then soon, it had its tongue sticking out and it began to do a weird panting. Like a dog but the panting sounded very deep and weird.
Then he felt something fall out of his pocket and rolled on the ground. It seemed to have caught the Evos attention as it turned around and went after the thing out of Rex's pocket. Rex stood up as he saw the EVO grabbed something then began walking back over to Rex.
Rex flinched at the EVO coming back but instead of being attacked, something sticky and slobbery landed in his lap. Rex looked at the slimy thing in his lap and realized that the thing that fell out of his jacket was the ball that he always kept around. Seriously, that thing even survived the keep being flown into Providence headquarters and that was the only thing left alive in his old room.
He then looked back at the EVO and saw the it was still doing its weird panting. Rex looked back down and the EVO and began to wonder about something. He then grabbed the ball, good thing he was wearing gloves and then stood up. He looked at the EVO and then noticed that its tail was wagging slightly.
He then decided to test his theory as he then threw the ball away from and confirming his theory, the EVO dog chased after the ball and tried to catch it as it kept rolling along. It then grabbed the ball in its mouth and began running back to Rex. It stopped then dropped the ball and then began its panting again.
"Huh so you are just like a dog" thought Rex as he then looked at how slobbery and slimy his ball was getting so he set it on the ground and looked up at the big beast. He then walked slowly forward towards it. He took off his gloves and then held out his hand, to which the EVO soon sniffed at it and then licked it.
Rex giggled at how weird its tongue felt as he then moved his hand to the sides of its face and fangs and began petting the side of its face. the EVO reacted in a positive way as it began nudging his hand and leaned into the petting.
As Rex chuckled at Evos nudges, he then saw the EVO move its head down and then licked his face several times. Rex laughed as he kept telling the EVO to "stop it" but soon Rex fell down and the EVO soon laid down and rested its head on Rex's chest and stomach, which made Rex groan at how heavy the EVO was. He looked into the Evos multiply eyes and for some strange reason, the EVO dogs eyes seemed to be twinkling to him, in a sense. Like it was happy, but then it stuck its tongue out again and licked Rex's face again.
Rex groaned at how nasty its breath smelled this up close s he kept trying to move the EVOs mouth away but soon the EVO rolled on its sides and put its paws up, like a dog does when it rolls over for a belly rub.
Rex saw what it was doing and just chuckled and he stood and began rubbing the Evo's belly. He seemed to like it since it was doing a weird kind of purring, which was strange too since it looked like a dog. Rex saw that it was wagging its tail fiercely, indicating that it was happy.
Rex looked back and the EVO and thought "You're not like the other evos huh, girl. Normally they would try and eat me but you seem more mellow than the rest" as he continued to rub its belly. Rex then stood back as the EVO began to get back up. It turned towards Rex as Rex held out his hands and then held its face or I guess its mouth since it was so big.
"I guess your not so bad as people think you are, huh" said Rex, to which the dog just licked his face. Rex chuckled as he then began to think on something.
"I wonder if I should give you a name. Hmm. You seem like you might be a girl so maybe a girls name, but what" said Rex but then he heard a call on his communications device.
He clicked it and he heard Six's voice saying, "Rex, we managed to get everyone out of the webs and regrouped. Where are you. Did you cure the EVO."
Rex had completely forgotten what he was suppose to do. While he was having fun with his new friend, he had forgotten that he was chasing him for causing problems in the city. Rex then said "Umm not exactly, but I think I have this situation handled."
"What do you mean by that" asked Six.
Rex looked back at the dog and said "Look just tell everyone not to shoot and bring a cage. I'll explain when I get there" said Rex as he turned off his communications device and turned back to the EVO.
"Ok how am I going to get you to follow me back to the surface" thought Rex. He then saw his ball on the ground and then remembered that she liked to play catch, just like a dog. He then walked over and saw a garbage can lid in a pile scrapes on the floor. He picked up and walked towards the hole in the wall, as he heard stomps following him.
He turned around to see the EVO following him and then pulled out the lid that he hid from behind his back and then waved around as he said "do you wanna play catch, girl. Huh, do ya. Do ya girl" as he waved the lid in front of snout.
The EVO then wagged its tail as it bent down in an anticipated way. Rex then pulled the lid back and just as he then threw it towards the opening as he said "Then go get it girl" as he threw the lid through the hole. The EVO then ran straight after the trash can lid, and through the wall.
"Oh boy, if this keeps up, we'll be playing fetch till the cows come home"complained Rex a tiny bit as he began following the EVO right out of the hole. He looked and saw that he threw it too hard cause it ended up on the tracks that the actual train was on as the EVO kept running to get it. He then saw a bright light coming from one end of the tunnel.
His eyes widened at the fact that the EVO was about to be hit and that might cause problems for the train and the passengers as well. He then formed his wings and flew as fast as he could.
The EVO dog managed to find the lid on the tracks and just as it bent down to pick it up, it saw a bright light coming towards it. It didn't do anything, just stood there like a deer in the headlights.
The train honked trying to get the EVO to move but it never did but before the train hit the EVO, Rex formed his whip again and threw it around the Evos stomach and quickly pulled it away from the tracks, just in the nick of time.
The EVO went flying as it then landed on Rex as he tried to catch her. As the two stopped moving, the EVO shook its head as it then looked down at Rex and began licking his face constantly in gratitude.
Rex groaned in disgust while also laughing as he said "ok, ok. You're welcome. Now stop giving me kisses" and the EVO did stop but as she did, she then lowered her head down and laid her head on his stomach and began to close its eyes.
"Wait, no. Don't fall alseep. Hey, wake up" said Rex but it was useless. He was now her snuggle buddy.
Rex sighed as he then petted her and said "What am I going to do with you."

Timeskip
Agent Six and the rest of Providence had managed to get out of the webs the Evo sprayed on them and managed to get to the location Rex had described. Now it was a few minutes after Rex had said he
"Alright. Rex said he has the situation under control. Bring the cage down" said Six in his comm piece. He then turned back to the stairs leading down as he had heard some noises coming from it. He wasn't sure what was going on but he wasn't going to take any chances. He readied his swords as he waited to see what was happening. Bobo began following him.
The two heard the noises get louder as from out of nowhere, a trash can lid came out and hit Bobo in the face.
"Owww" he groaned. He then shook off the pain as he grabbed the lid and said "Oh who's the wise..." but before he could say anything else, the EVO dog came running out of the stairway and landed on Bobo, while Agent Six jumped back. He looked back and saw the EVO was now on top of the monkey.
Six then turned back to the soldiers and nodded his head, telling the others to ready their weapons if it attacked.
"Eh. Get off of me, ya flipping flea bag" yelled Bobo trying to get it off of him. But the EVO grabbed the trash can lid and then sat down. Bobo flipped off the ground and backwards to gain some distance.
He then took out his weapons and aimed it at the dog as he said "Don't worry. I'll get rid of your fleas. After all, I'm the exterminator" and then fired his blasters at the Evos. But they were stopped by Rex's Smack hands.
"Bobo, Don't shoot at it. Bad monkey" exclaimed Rex.
Bobo lowered his weapons and said "Sorry chief" and holstered his guns. Rex then looked up and saw the soldiers had their guns ready, but then he stood in front of the EVO and held out hs arms saying,
"What are you guys doing" as he then turned to see Six, just standing there.
"Six, I said no shooting. Just bring a cage and that was it. No firing" exclaimed Rex.
Six looked at Rex and saw how defensive he was being then he looked at the EVO behind him and saw how it was doing a weird panting as it held the trash can lid in its mouth. Then he looked back and Rex and raised his eyebrow in question.
"I have this under control Six. Trust me" said Rex, trying to reason with Six. Six kept gazing at the two Evos then raised his finger to his ear piece and said "Everyone stand down. Bring the cage in", to which everyone lowered their weapons.
Rex sighed as he turned back to the EVO dog behind him. He then held out his hands and the EVO lowered its head and gave the lid to Rex. It panted again and Rex just began to stroke the Evos fur, to which it purred at his touch again.
"See. You're not as bad as the other Evos, aren't ya girl. Yes, you are" said Rex as he kept talking baby talk, while still petting the EVO.
Bobo walked next to Six and said "Sheesh. I think the kids lost it. He's talking to them now" in his scruffy voice.
Six looked down at the monkey and said "He talks to you all the time. What's the difference" in his neutral voice.
"Hey, 1. I am a monkey. Everyone likes monkeys, and 2. Because that thing'll track fleas into the house" said Bobo as he folded his paws.
"You track fleas, ticks and other bugs too. Whats the difference again" asked Six.
"HEY. Can that mangy mutt do this" exclaimed Bobo as he pulled out his blasters and fired at a trash can nearby and it exploded. Bobo chuckled at what he had done, but as the smoke cleared, he saw Six covered in some of the garbage.
"Oh, uh. Itchy trigger finger" said Bobo nervously, trying to not get hit. Six just raised his eyebrow at the monkey. Six then wiped off the garbage and turned back to Rex, and he know saw that The EVO was on its backside as Rex was rubbing its belly.
"Are you seeing this, Dr. Holiday" asked Six over his comm piece.
"Yea, its so strange. At first, this Evo was causing panic but it's acting like a dog to Rex. Tell Rex I'll have some questions when you get back. It's like it's responsive to him." said Holiday, over the comms.
"Noted" said Six as he lowered his hand and put them in his pockets. Then they heard a buzzing sound, and turned to see a Providence transport vessel flying in with a cage.It landed in the streets as it lowered the cage down.
Six then turned back to Rex and said "If you have this under control, how are we getting that thing into the cage" as he didnt want to have to chase it again.
Rex turned back to him and smirked as he said "With a good old game of frisbee" in his determined way. Six just raised his eyebrow as he didn't understand what he meant. Rex then stepped away from his new friend and picked the lid again and began saying,
"Hey. Come on, girl. You want the lid. Do ya. Do ya"said Rex, to which she rolled over and got on all 6's and began wagging her tail as her tongue drooped out as she drooled too, as he began backing up to the cage, to which everyone stood aside as the EVO followed him. Then with one big shout, he said
"Then go get it girl" shouted Rex as he threw the lid as hard as he could into the cage. The EVO then charged after the lid and ran right into the cage.
"Hurry close it" said Six as just as he said it, the gates closed on the cage.
The mission was complete.
"Alright. We got her in. Now how about we had to the closest restaurant and celebrate" cheered Rex, but he didnt hear anyone else say "Yea". He sighed in defeat and began walking away as he said "Fine. Guess me and Bobo are just going to have to..."

Went a loud sound on metal being bashed against. Rex and Six turned to the sound and saw Rex's new friend was ramming against the cage back and forth, side to side, trying to get out.
"What happened. I thought you said you had that thing under control" said Six as he brought out his blades if things were going to get ugly.
"I did. She was fine for me. I'll see if I can calm her down" said Rex as he ran over to the cage.
"Hey. Hey. Girl, calm down" said Rex as he waved his arms trying to get her attention. When the EVO heard his voice, she turned as saw him standing near the gate. She stopped her banging and trotted over to him. As she got to the grate, she stuck her nose onto the bars and stuck her tongue out as she licked his face.
Rex chuckled as he said "Ok, ok. Calm down. Whats that matter girl. You were so good a few minutes ago. Why are you acting up now" said Rex as he petted her, while Six watched from a far. He then heard a call on his comms piece as he the listened to it. It was Holiday.
"Six. It seems to be connected to Rex in a sense. When she was in the cage and couldn't get out and see Rex, she freaked out. Now she calmed down. And before, she was running away from him but whatever went down in the subway must've changed something in it" said Holiday in amazement.
"What do you suggest we do to try and keep it calm"asked Six to Holiday.
"Well since I don't know what happened, there's only one thing that I can think of" said Holiday.
"What is it" asked Six as Holiday explained her idea.
"Noted" said Six as he understood her reasons and began walking over to Rex.
Rex turned his head to see six coming towards him as he asked "So what are we going to do to keep her calm. I don't tranq darts will make her happy, Six" said Rex as he kept petting the evo.
"At this rate, theres only one thing to do" said Six.
"Whats that" asked Rex as he raised his eyebrow.

Short Timskip
"This isn't what I had in mind to spend my day" said Rex as he was now inside the cage with the EVO as it had laid on its stomach and its head onto Rex's lap as he kept petting her. But the EVO didn't seem to mind.
"Oh, you'll be fine Rex. I think its cute" said Holiday over the intercom.
"Glad you're having a fun time" grumbled Rex.

Providence Headquarters
Everyone assigned to the mission had finally made it back to base. They were now working their way into getting the EVO in the petting zoo, a large area in Providence Headquarters where they kept a lot of the Evos that Rex couldn't cure, like Holidays sister. He still felt bad about not being able to save her but Holiday didn't hold it against him.
Rex followed the cage movers as so the EVO wouldn't freak out like last time. They finally managed to get the EVO into the Zoo. Rex then made his way over to the medical ward, where Doctor Holiday worked in, which also had a clear view of the petting zoo.
Six, Bobo, and Rex walked in to see Holiday up on the platform as she stared out into the zoo. Six and Rex began walking up towards her. She turned to see them walking towards her. She smiled as she said,
"So I hear you made a new friend today, Rex. Wanna tell me how that happened" as she put her hand on her hip.
Rex laughed as he then stopped laughing as he looked down at his hands and said "I don't know Doc. When we first met, she was attacking people and when I followed her down into the subway, she was snarling at me but when I tried to cure her, it didn't work but it was like, she changed. It was like... she knew I was trying to help her. I can't explain it Doc" said Rex as he sighed in defeat.
Holiday was surprised at what he said but before she could say anything, something big and furry climbed onto the windows. Everyone jumped back and they saw that it was Rex's new friend, clinging to the window like a spider on the wall.
They calmed down as the EVO began crawling down to where Rex was and stuck its tongue out as it panted but they couldn't hear it behind the glass.
"heh. Miss me already, don't ya girl" said Rex as he put his hand on the glass and the EVO began nudging the wall. Holiday and Six stepped back as they looked at the two, being friendly with one another.
Holiday just smiled at the moment in front of her but then she asked "You keep calling her girl and not Evo. Are you going to name her like you did Mel out there" as she raised her eyebrow in a mocking way while Six just raised his eyebrow at her question.
Rex looked at Holiday then back to the hanging Evo as he said "Well I wasn't sure about naming her since I didn't know what we were going to do with her. But since she's staying here, I kind of had some names in mind but I think I like this one" said Rex as he continued to look out the window.
"And what name is that" asked Holiday.
As he heard her words, he placed his hand near where the Evos face was and said
"Siri."
"Siri" said Holiday as she pondered at the names then smiled as she said "I think its a lovely name Rex" as she smiled at the two.
"Why Siri" asked Six.
"It was something I remembered in class when I had that tournament with Noah. It was Scandinavian female given name, which also meant "Beautiful victory" and I thought that her fur color is beautiful and we had a victory in making sure she didn't cause anymore trouble for folks" said Rex as he then turned back to Siri.
He then said "Isn't that right girl. You're such a trouble maker, aren't ya" said Rex as he began being silly and goofy with Siri licking the windows and just kept watching Rex.
"Plus then I can make jokes like "Hey Siri" laughed Rex as he put his hands on his knees as he said that phrase.
Holiday kept smiling at the scene but Six just kept raising his eyebrow as he said "I don't get this."
"Of course, you don't get it. You probably never had a pet before" said Holiday as she looked at Six.
"What do you mean" asked Six.
"Look at the them" said Holiday as she pointed at Rex and Siri being all silly and goofy, while being playful.
Then Rex began running to the elevator and headed down to the petting zoo. Siri watched him from the window then heard a voice down below and jumped down from window. Six and Holiday just watched out he window as the saw Siri and Rex playing around with each other as Rex through a stick as Siri chased it.
"The reason that you don't get it is because you don't see the bond those two share" said Holiday.
"When Rex tried to cure Siri, maybe she somehow felt his emotions as the nanites in him flowed into her. She must've felt that he was trying to help her and that changed her view on him. Plus, I think that its sweet and a good thing for rex to have a pet to play with" said Holiday as she continued to watch the two play down below.
"He had the monkey. Why is this different" asked Six.
"Because SHE doesn't talk smack to you when things don't go their way nor does she liked to make messes in the bathrooms" she exclaimed as she expressed her anger at Bobo.
But then she calmed down and then said "Plus, its like the old saying. A dog is a man's best friend. This is good for Rex to have something that happens in a normal life. Having their first pet" said Holiday as she kept staring at her adoptive son being happy.
"Just as long as cleans up after her and she stays in the zoo, I don't care how he feels about her" said White Knight on the screen.
"Always know how to ruin a sweet moment, don't you" thought Holiday as she began walking back to her station.
Six just kept staring at the two playing around as he began to think.
"This may not be the best way to live a normal life but I hope its one he comes to love. With all of us" thought Six as he began to head back to his room. But then he heard his phone ring as he then picked it up
"Yes" he said into the phone.
"Who's going to clean up this mess. There's webs everywhere and my door is dented how am I going to get my pills now" complained an old lady on the phone.
Six was surprised by this and said "What... wait, wait... who is this... how'd you get this number" he kept saying trying to get the lady to calm down. Let just say he couldn't get her to go away.
"Yep. that's pretty much the day I met Siri. My first pet. Not an ideal one nor a normal one but she's one I wouldn't trade for the world. Well, maybe that's not true but I love hear like she was my own. My own pet, Siri, The EVO Spider Dog."
