Sparring with Superman

It was a quiet night in Metropolis. All major and minor criminals were either in jail, in their headquarters planning their next crime or in bed, sound asleep. This night was shaping up to be a peaceful and carefree one. That is until an alien ship appeared out of nowhere, right above the middle of the city and drones came out of it, spreading one message.

We are looking for Superman

"Well, there goes my quiet night", sighed the sought after hero, who was watching the scene from the Watchtower. "J`onn, Diana, would you like to accompany me down there and see what they want?"

"Sure thing Kal", answered Diana. "If they are hostile, we should make sure they don't harm anyone."

"I've locked the coordinates for Metropolis. We should appear right next to one of the drones", J`onn said while heading to the teleporters.

True to his word, they appeared in the middle of Metropolis park, where one of the drones was hovering. As soon as it saw them, it flew straight at them and started a scan.

"I believe you were looking for me?" Superman said while scanning the drone with his x-ray vision. It seemed a simple design, nothing he hadn't seen before and more importantly, it didn't seem to be carrying anything dangerous inside.

After the drone finished scanning them, a small compartment appeared from within and a small screen appeared. At first it only showed a commanders chair in the background but then an alien appeared, with a huge grin on his face.

"Oh man, it really is Superman. I told you this would work", he said to someone to his right, who didn't seem to respond. "Wait, he's not alone. Oh, oh, oh, he brought the Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman with him. This is great, even better than we expected".

The heroes could hear the excitement in his voice. This was a bit puzzling.

"Why are you looking for me"? asked Superman

"Well, we have a favor to ask of you. Do you mind if we talk in person about this?" When the heroes nodded, the aliens grin widened even more, if that was possible. "Great! Would you like for us to come down to you or would you like for us to speak on the ship? I'm not sure which option is customary on your planet."

The heroes looked at each other. "Would you mind waiting a minute while we discuss this?" asked the Manhunter.

"Of course not. Take as much time as you need", replied the alien.

"Thank you". They moved a bit further from the drone, so as not to be overheard.

"I say we speak on the ship", said Diana. "It could be an ambush so better to keep casualties at a low. Besides, I haven't seen such a model of ship before. If they are friendly, it would be interesting to visit. "

"My thoughts exactly. I haven't seen their kind before. I would like to get to know them", said Superman.

"Then we are in agreement. This should be interesting", said J`onn.

All three approached the drone again with the alien eagerly watching them.

"We would like to talk on board your ship", said Superman.

"Awesome!". The alien clapped his hands together in an excited gesture and the heroes were a bit surprised to see that he had four hands. "I'll send a shuttle down and we will meet you in 10 minutes in the cargo hold. We need to get ready to greet you properly. See you soon!".

The drone closed the monitor and started going back to the ship, from which the shuttle was coming down. It was a small vessel, able to carry four people at most. As soon as they seated themselves, the shuttle took off at a slow pace.

"You guys think this is the usual speed for this thing or they want more time to prepare for us?" asked Diana.

"Who knows?" said Superman. "They seemed friendly enough. You can ask them when we get there. I just hope we won't have to fight. It seems that every time aliens appear on our planet, all they want is to enslave everyone, steal our resources and be the biggest bastards that they can be. Maybe these guys will be an exception."

They remained quiet for the rest of the journey, which was short, even with the slow speed of the shuttle. They entered the hangar bay and with a small hiss, the shuttle landed and the heroes climbed off.

"Great! We're so happy that you're here", a voice called out to them. The heroes looked towards the source of the voice and saw something that made them pause. There were three aliens greeting them. They recognized the one that they talked to via the drone, a tall, muscular, four armed alien. To his right was another alien, smaller, with his arms crossed and looking to the side, a bit peeved, from what they could tell. To his left, was another one, this one not as muscular as the others, who had tentacles instead of arms and was looking shyly at them. While the appearance of the aliens wasn't exactly common to the heroes, it wasn't what gave them pause. No, what gave them pause is that all three aliens were wearing tuxedos.

"Um, hello?" said Superman.

The four armed alien quickly came closer to them, with the other two following at a lower speed, and said: "Oh, this is a dream come true. We're big fans of you guys. We would have been happy to meet just you, Superman, but this is even better. Can I shake your hand?"

Superman extended his hand, a bit overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, and the alien took it with all four hands and gave it a hearty shake while asking: "How was the ride up? I hope it wasn't too slow. We made it go slower so that we would have more time to prepare to welcome you".

"Ha, called it", said Wonder Woman from the side, with a smirk on her face.

"It was alright. We didn't mind it much" said Superman while his arm was still being shaken and wondering if he should ask him if he can let go.

"Great, great. It may be a bit sudden but can we ask you guys for autographs?" he asked, oblivious to the discomfort he was causing.

"Well" the smaller alien said, "I know that Superman can do many things but I doubt he can do that." When the larger alien turned to him, with a confused look on his face, he continued in an annoyed tone: "Dude, will you let go of his arm? You've been shaking it for a minute straight".

"Oh sorry" he said while letting go then putting an arm to the back of his head and grinning. "I guess I got a little bit carried away".

"Right, a little", the smaller alien snickered.

"Before we get to the autographs, we have a few questions as well" said Wonder Woman. "But I think we can all agree what the most important question is".

"Why are you wearing tuxedos?" asked J`onn.

"I was actually going to ask why they are here, but sure, I guess that one is important too."

"What do you mean? We were told this is how you earthlings greet each other. As a matter of fact, where are your tuxedos?" asked the smaller alien while looking them over.

"We only wear them for special occasions like weddings or parties. For this situation, more informal wear is more appropriate" answered Diana.

"Really?" With a glare to the larger alien that would have made Batman proud, he left with a speed that would have made the Flash proud as well and returned wearing a shirt with short sleeves and athletic pants and footwear. "Ah, much better. I told you that Rangriz was messing with you but noooo, you just had to make us wear those stupid clothes."

"Oh come on, they aren't that bad".

"You're the only one who likes them, with your stupid fascination towards earthlings".

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You know very well, you stuck up..."

In the meantime, the third alien was standing there, with his eyes closed. Pretty soon, they saw a screen and some clothes floating towards them. He made the screen land in front of him and after a few seconds, the tuxedo was hanging on it's top side, with him wearing a t-shirt that had the image of a bald man wearing a yellow uniform and the word "OK" in a speech bubble next to him. He stared at the Martian Manhunter and telepathically said: "Hello! Please don't tell the captain but I found the tuxedo too itchy. We only wore them because we wouldn't have heard the end of it afterwards."

"Is he always this pushy?" the Manhunter asked with a frown.

"No, more like overly enthusiastic. Once he gets an idea in his head, it's very hard to change his mind. This" he waved a tentacle to the tuxedo "didn't seem worth it so we agreed to wear them".

"Alright. It's nice to meet a fellow telepath" said J`onn with a smile.

"Thank you. I was hoping I could meet you. We're all big fans of the Justice League but we each have our favorites" he said with a blush.

"Really? I didn't know that we were appreciated out there."

"Oh, you most certainly are, in certain circles at least. Um, I would like to talk to the others as well but I believe it would be rude to enter their minds without their permission. Could I ask you to help with the introductions? It seems that our captain forgot himself in all this excitement."

"Of course". With a cough, J`onn brought attention to himself, which was a good thing as the bickering aliens were now head to head and a fight seemed imminent, and continued: "It seems clear that you know who we are. Can we trouble you for your names?" In the meantime, he explained the situation quickly to the other two heroes.

"Sorry about that", said the tall alien, his grin back on his face. "We forgot ourselves in the moment".

"Right, we" snickered the smaller alien from his side. "Anyway, I'm Terry".

"I'm Henry" the tentacled alien telepathically told them. "It's a pleasure to meet you".

"And I'm Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Pierre Andres Charton-Haymoss Ivanovicci Doitzel Kaiser" the third alien finished with a huge grin on his face.

As the heroes stared at him in confusion, trying to remember all the names, Terry and Henry simply said: "His name is John".

"But, but..." he started to protest only to be cut off by Superman.

"I think that's a great name".

"I like it. Short and easy to remember" confirmed Diana.

" You can't go wrong with a name like John" said J`onn.

"Fine" said the newly named John with a huff. "You guys can't appreciate a good thing.

"You're lucky" said Terry. "That name was actually longer. We should know, we heard it too many times" he finished with a shudder.

"Yes, I'm surprised you made it shorter, captain. What made you decide to do that?" asked Henry.

"I, uh, forgot some of them" confessed John sheepishly.

They all started laughing at that and after a few moments, Superman asked with a grin: "It's a pleasure to meet you. So, how can we assist you? You said that you were looking for me?"

At that, all three of them tensed a bit but it was John who answered.

"Yes, like I said before, we have a favor to ask you. I know it's a bit weird but would you like to have a sparring session with us? You see, we kind of made a bet back home about fighting you and we are honor bound to go through with this".

"A bet? What kind of bet?"

"It's a bit of an embarrassing story. We promise that we will tell you if you agree to this.

"I see. And where would we have this sparring session?"

"On the ship. We have a training room specifically designed for such sessions."

"How would this work? Do we spar one on one?"

"No, we would like you to fight us at the same time."

"Really? Wait, do you mean me against all three of you or against the entire crew of the ship?"

"What? No! You versus just the three of us. Besides there are no other members aboard."

"Alright. I was asking because I learned that wording is important in situations like these. Any rules?"

"Well, other than not going for the eyes, everything else goes. We also need some time to prepare as in our current state, we won't even scratch you. Just so you know, we will be going all out so we would appreciate if you would do the same."

"Thanks for the heads up. Alright, I agree to this. But could you please move your ship outside of the city first? I know that many people are scared because of it."

"Of course. No problem. Henry, can you go and navigate the ship?"

"I can help with that" said J`onn. "I know of a few locations where we won't be interrupted and I can also notify the League, so that they won't worry too much."

"Thank you, that would be wonderful. Follow me, please", said Henry while levitating towards the flight deck.

"Alright. Terry, can you lead our guests to the training room? I'll be with you in a few minutes".

"Sure. The tuxedo is starting to itch, huh?

John left them while glaring at Terry. He led the heroes to the training room, answering questions about the ship and making small talk. It was a big, empty space, perfect for maneuvers. As made clear by Terry, if they needed any items for their training, Henry would helpfully bring them via telekinesis, from the storage room.

After a few minutes John came to join them, wearing what looked like a full body suit, heavily armored but still allowing great mobility and Henry and the Manhunter followed soon after.

"So, are you guys ready?" John asked with excitement.

"Sure but how will this work?" Superman asked.

"Oh, it's simple, we fight until you or none of us is able to stand."

"Great, and here I thought it would be something complicated" he replied with a grin. "I'll go take my position on the other side."

"Alright, I'll just need a minute" said Terry while producing two syringes and injecting their content into his hands. They started to grow at a rapid pace, with them becoming more and more muscular until they were about three times their normal size.

"Was that necessary? It seemed quite painful" Superman said with concern but Terry replied:

"It's alright. It's not a pleasant thing but we're treating this seriously. We're going all out and this was a necessary step."

"Alright. We can start whenever you're ready. Wonder Woman and the Martian Manhunter will stand by in case any help is necessary, on either side."

"We've already started a timer, the ship will produce a loud noise when it's time to start. Get ready, Superman. I know we are" John said with a serious look on his face.

Superman was watching them closely and it seemed like John was ready to pounce at any moment with the other two seeming much more relaxed although Terry was taking a boxing stance with his arms in front of his chest.

A loud beep started and John was the first to close the gap towards Superman, as he expected, with his left arms raised and ready to punch him. "That's one obvious move" he thought and just as he was ready to dodge it, Terry came from behind John's back at super speed and punched Superman in the chin, knocking his head back, giving John the opening he needed for his fists to connect with his face. Superman flew backwards in the air but it only took him a moment to come back to his senses and stabilize himself in flight. He turned just in time to see John coming at him but he couldn't see Terry.

"Looking for me?" he heard from behind but before he could react, he felt a solid hit at the back of his head, forcing it down, just in time for John to provide two solid left hooks to his solar plexus. The force of the punches was so great that he flew all the way into the wall.

Superman was barely fazed, analyzing the situation. "They are coordinating well, John being the heavy hitter, with Terry making lightning strikes, to keep me off balance." With a smirk, he thought: "This is going to be fun. Let's see how well they do on the defense side."

He flew towards Terry at super speed, who started running towards John. Once he was by his side, he entered into a defensive stance, with his hands in front of him. Just as Superman was about to reach him, he slammed into an unseen wall. The impact disoriented him for a few seconds but it was enough for John to catch him by the arms with his lower hands and then start punching him with his upper ones. In the meantime, Terry was watching them, ready to intervene at a moment's notice.

That moment came when Superman kicked John in the face, launching him upwards and then punched him away. He raced to prevent him from hurting John further but to his surprise, Superman dodged his punch at super speed and grabbed him by the throat. Just as the hero was ready to punch Terry, he felt his hand being smacked away by something, making him release the alien. Next thing he knew, John was next to him and punched him in the chest, causing him to fly backwards. He only flew for a little bit before he recovered and flew straight at John but at the last moment, he changed directions toward Terry, who wasn't expecting him, and threw a punch at his face but he felt his hand being moved by something again and missed his target. He tried again but the same thing happened. Before he could try a third time, he dodged to the side, as he felt John trying to punch him from behind. After dodging he tried to punch John as well but the same force made him miss. He saw John begin to retaliate but as he tried to dodge backwards, he found himself being locked in place by an invisible wall. So he raised his hands in a defensive position before John's fist could connect. A storm of fists began to rain on him but none could get past his stance, until Terry came from behind and, without being hindered by that invisible wall, he kicked Superman in the back of the leg, making him fall on one knee. It was enough of an opening for John to connect a few solid hits, before Superman caught one of his punches, pulled him forward and punched him in the jaw, making him fly away. Watching him closely, he noticed how his ascent was slowed down a bit too fast and he remained in the air for a few seconds before he came to his senses. A smile appeared on Superman's face and he looked at Henry, while dodging a fist from Terry and tripping him at the same time, and said: "I knew you could use telekinesis but not at such an advanced level. I am impressed".

From the sidelines, Diana and J`onn were commenting on the fight. "It took him a bit to figure out their strategy", Diana said while looking at Terry, who was getting up, ready to start swinging.

"It's not so easy to figure out things when you are being assaulted left and right" J`onn remarked. "Now it becomes interesting. I know that smile. He is preparing a counterattack" he said while looking at Superman, who was starting to rise in the air slowly.

They watched the fight in silence for a few minutes as Superman kept charging at either John or Terry and every time, he would be stopped by either Henry's telekinesis, the other two's teamwork or a combination of the two. Still, he was getting used to their attacks and also making sure that he was making them feel that they had the upper hand. He decided to change things and see what would happen if he charged at Henry. He dodged John and Terry's attacks but he slammed into another wall when he was a few feet away from Henry. He quickly circled around him but found no openings so he retreated upwards before the other two reached him. Still, it wasn't a complete waste since he came to a realization when he was making the circle.

So he flew in the middle of the arena and told the three aliens: "Your teamwork is excellent. It was a pleasure fighting you. Shall we finish this?"

"You speak as if you've been having the upper hand the entire fight. That's not how it looks like from here" said John while hitting his left palms with his right punches. "But sure, we're ready to end this" he continued with a grin on his face. "Terry, Henry, maneuver 13".

Diana and J`onn saw Terry taking a stance like he was preparing to run for a dash, Henry closing his eyes and concentrating hard and finally, John pushed a few buttons on his suit, that made red lines appear on it's front and back.

Superman was still flying in the air, ready to defend himself. He wanted to see what the maneuver was about. Suddenly, he felt himself being pushed down towards them, without any way to resist. From below, John jumped towards him and caught him in the air. He punched him in the face and Superman felt the hit hard. This was different from the other punches, it's strength tripled. John punched him all the way down, until they hit the floor. Once down, he punched him two more times and then he picked the hero up. He lifted him above his head and then performed the bat breaker move on him. Superman screamed from the pain and rolled to the side, while holding a hand to his spine. John then kicked him in the head, making him slide a few feet in front of him. The hero lay motionless for a few seconds and then he got up, angry from the blows that he received but before he could strike back, Terry came from behind him and started rapid fire punching him in the back, making sure that most of the hits went towards the spine. Superman couldn't move forwards since Henry had again formed an invisible wall in front of him so he could only endure Terry's barrage for a few seconds before he turned and tried to kick Terry away. He dodged however and took the opportunity to taunt Superman, by performing a "No" gesture with his finger. This was a distraction as Superman was telekinetically punched in the gut, sending him back into John, who again punched him in the back, making Superman fall on his knees. Then, both John and Terry punched him in the head, one from the back, the other from the front.

"Take this" screamed John, as he picked Superman up and slammed him into one of the walls. He followed Superman and unleashed a barrage of fists as well on the hero, who could only lean on the wall and take the assault. Steam was starting to come out of John's suit, that's how hard he was hitting. He held the barrage for as long as he could. When he felt his strength weakening, he grabbed Superman by the collar of his suit and threw him in the air.

"Now Henry, do it now."

Henry opened his eyes, an intense glow within them, and he smacked Superman to the ground. He then followed with precise telekinetic punches on the downed hero, hitting him with everything he got, until a dust cloud started to form, obscuring Superman.

All three aliens were panting heavily, having given it their all. Diana and J`onn noticed that Terry's arms were starting to turn back to their original form, Henry's eyes had lost their previous glow and John's suit was releasing steam heavily. They were all looking at the dust cloud. Slowly, it started to part but there was no one there.

"Where... where is he?" shouted John. The other two could only stare at him. Seeing that they were looking behind him, he turned around. Superman was standing there, arms crossed on his chest, a serious look on his face.

"You lied to me" he stated, looking John straight in the eyes. He then shoved him with one arm, making him fly through the air. Henry focused again and slowed his flight. In the meantime, Superman ran at Terry at super speed, who was too tired to react in time. He grabbed him by the back of the neck and threw him at Henry, who caught Terry in flight as well. Now both of his allies were in the air. Superman ran at John, again in super speed, grabbed him by the back of his neck and with him in the air, ran and grabbed Terry as well. He threw both of them at Henry, who was unable to focus in time, and they both slammed into him.

With all three aliens dizzy from the hit, Superman flew next to them and waited for them to come to their senses before asking them: "Why didn't you tell me that this fight meant more to you?"

Henry and Terry looked ashamed but a furious John rose up and tried to punch Superman again. The hero simply dodged the hit and turned to face John, since the momentum had made him pass by Superman. He turned around and this time he managed to hit the hero. However, Superman didn't even flinch. So he hit him again and again but Superman was just standing there, enduring all the hits. John kept hitting with all his might until bits of armor started to come off. It was at this point that Superman caught his fist and turned his arm in a painful position, painful enough that it made John fall on one knee.

"Captain, stop" cried Henry. "You'll only hurt yourself if you continue. Superman, please let him go, this fight is over."

"I'll let him go only when he admits defeat. Otherwise, he'll just keep coming."

John wasn't saying anything, he was trying to free himself from the position he was in but Superman kept a firm grip. He was struggling so much that steam started to rise from his suit again. Henry's cries weren't reaching John so Terry did the only thing he could think of. He went to John and slapped him hard across his right cheek. At this point, John stopped struggling and looked at Terry who said: "Let it go, you idiot. I know what you're trying to do but it's not worth it." He came closer, took John's face in his hands and firmly said: "Let ... it ... go!"

At that, John's entire body sagged and he lowered his head. Superman felt that the fight was over so he let John go. Terry turned to him and softly said: "Thank you and... please forgive us."

Superman looked at him and said: "Before I decide to forgive you, mind telling me what is going on? It sounds like there is quite a story behind your actions."

Terry laughed softly: "Nothing escapes you, does it?"

When Superman didn't respond, he just sighed and said: "We'll tell you everything. Just give us a minute".

A few minutes later, with all of them treated, Terry began to share their story: "We didn't lie when we said that we're fans of the Justice League. Your exploits have reached our planet and from time to time, merchants would bring vids of your latest adventures. So imagine our surprise when about... a year and six months ago?" he turned to the others for confirmation, which he got as a series of quick nods, "yeah, a year and six months ago, a being came to our planet, who claimed to be similar to you, Superman."

"Similar to me? Another Kryptonian you mean?"

"Yeah, that's what he claims at least. He did show signs of strength and speed like yours. So, at first, we didn't know what to think. We were wary but we welcomed him with open arms. He said that he was travelling from planet to planet and was looking for a place to call home."

"Oh, he found a home alright" John said darkly, staring at the ground. "At first he minded his own business, even helping from time to time, if there was a situation where muscle was necessary. Pretty soon though, he showed his true face." He took a deep breath and then continued. "It all started when he conquered one of our cities. He took down whatever authority was there pretty quick. When our military intervened, he took care of us too. It was hardly a battle" he finished bitterly.

"Our captain was part of the forces that confronted him" clarified Henry. "He's the only one of us with military training. Before the conquest, I was working in construction. And Terry..."

"I was a runner" interrupted Terry. "It's something like an athlete. We have a sport on our planet where we race to gather certain items. Whoever finds them first wins."

"Sounds like an interesting sport" said Diana.

"Yeah, well, it's what allowed me to get away from that maniac when he decided he didn't like the way we were doing it."

"What happened?" asked Diana, concerned.

"I don't want to talk about it", said Terry, while looking at the ground. "Maybe I'll tell you some day but not now."

"I'm really sorry!" Superman said sincerely. "Did any of you lose family to that person?"

"No" Henry answered. "We were lucky in at least that regard. I managed to get my family to safety when the reports started coming in about the battle. But we've seen enough of our members die needlessly that it left a mark on us."

"I've seen my brothers in arms slaughtered by that guy. He could have taken us out non-lethally if he wanted to. But it was just a game to him." John took a deep breath and closed his eyes, trying to forget those memories.

"My condolences" said the Martian Manhunter. "But you're sure that who attacked you was Kryptonian?"

"We believe so. At least that's what he claims. He certainly showed evidence for super strength, speed and durability. If you want, I can show you some of our memories." Henry offered telepathically.

"That would be helpful" said Diana, with the other two nodding. "When you're ready, Henry".

Flashes of the events started being delivered into the heroes brains with destruction being the most common among them and at the center of these events was one being, floating in the air, no features visible except for his burning red eyes.

After a few minutes, the heroes had seen what life on the planet was like before the arrival of the kryptonian as well as how things were now.

Superman was the first to speak: "My God, the things you have gone through. I'm so sorry!" All three aliens nodded at that. "Why didn't you tell us this from the start? We could help you."

It was John that provided the answer: "That's why we originally came to this planet. To ask the Justice League for help. But you see... the things that we went through." Tears started to form in his eyes. "We wanted to take that guy down with our own strength. To make him feel some of our pain." As tears started rolling down his cheeks, Terry continued in a soft voice.

"It's the reason it took us a few months to get here. We went to every planet and trading post that could help us get stronger. That's where we purchased the power armor for John and the formula for me."

"And I trained my telekinetic powers every day in order to better help them from the sidelines", added Henry.

"I could tell" said J`onn. "Your coordination left very little room for error."

"Big fat good that did us" said Terry bitterly. "We barely managed to scratch Superman. If we were to fight against the Kryptonian, we would have been dead."

"Don't be so hard on yourselves. Sure, the fight didn't go as you wanted but you should still be proud of what you three managed to achieve. I'm sure that it will come in handy some day" Superman encouraged them.

"Thank you" said John. "In any case, now you know our story. So, I speak for all three of us when I ask this. Will you help us in our fight against the Kryptonian?"

"Of course we will" answered Superman while thrusting his hand forward.

John eagerly took it and gave him a hearty shake. A grin was starting to appear on his face. "While I wish the circumstances were different, it will be an honor to fight by your side."

Terry couldn't help but tease him a bit: "I bet. I'm sure you'll be telling that story to all your friends, over and over again."

"Damn straight" said John, oblivious to Terry's ribbing.

"Thank you. You have no idea how much this means to us" said Henry, happy as well.

"No worries. It's what we do" said Diana, touched by their happiness. "I recommend that you take your ship to our Watchtower. I'm sure that you could use some food and rest. Once you're all feeling better, we can talk more and form a plan."

At that, all three aliens realized how tired they were and accepted her offer with gratefulness. As the ship was heading for the Watchtower, Superman couldn't help but think of the mysterious Kryptonian and his actions. He had a million questions but decided to postpone them for later. He would have liked for the situation to be handled peacefully but he wasn't that naive. One thing he knew for sure. A guy like that wouldn't give up his power easily. A fight was inevitable. But if that was what it took to free the planet and everyone living there, he would step up to the challenge.

Author's notes part two: Well, I hope you enjoyed reading my little story. I know I had fun writing it. Unfortunately, even though I ended it on a cliffhanger, I'm sad to say that there won't be a second chapter any time soon. I've written this story a few months ago and I'm not really sure where to go from here. I may come back to it some time in the future but for now, I'll consider it done since for me it was more important to get more writing experience. In any case, I hope my next story will be even better than this one and for that one, I do plan on having more than one chapter. I wish you all the best, fellow readers!
