"Natsu! I can't believe you did this!" Lucy hollered, chasing after the said man who was running away from his life.
"My bad Luce! It's just something small, no need to get worked up about it!"
Apparently, Lucy decided to hang out with the girls of Fairy Tail for one day, so she left Natsu and Happy alone at her house. Natsu, being the irresistible annoying yet very adorable caring idiot he is, decided to make some spaghetti for her. Now although that was very sweet, and melted Lucy's heart, that didn't stop the fact he got the whole house covered in tomato sauce and pasta.
Even in her room, which she later found out, Happy was playing around there.
Which is why she plans on punishing her idiot boyfriend. And the reason why she's chasing him around the house.
Natsu ran towards her room, and tried to close the door, only for Lucy to catch and slip a foot in, holding the door open. "You can't hide from me Natsu! Come out and face your punishment!"
A few seconds of silence, until the pinkette finally opened the door, meeting a very irritated blonde standing right in front of him. "... Hi?"
Lucy narrowed her eyes. "Don't "Hi" me! You messed up my whole house... where's Happy?"
"Oh he slipped away while you were chasing me around for like the past 20 minutes."
Lucy blinked once. Then twice. "That damn cat. See if I give him fish for the next week. " She glanced over Natsu, who was slightly fidgeting in place. She kinda felt bad for him, and pulled his face towards her. "Don't you dare try slipping away Natsu. While it was super sweet that you wanted to make pasta for me, and that I want to shower with love, you messed up my home. So... being the nicest person ever... you'll do my chores."
Natsu relaxed, and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Thanks Luce! Glad you gave me light punishment. Thought you were gonna kick me out for about a week or something."
The blonde gave him a gentle smile. "I could never do that, Natsu. I can't live without my crazy yet very hot dragon for a day, can I?"
Natsu grinned, and leaned in to give her a kiss, only to be blocked by the celestial mage's hand. "No kisses until you finish. I'll help you scrub the house clean. You'll do my laundry first."
"Aw Lucee... Can't I get a kiss first?"
"Nope."
The man pouted, and then watched as Lucy brought a basket filled with clothes. "Here you go."
Natsu leaned over to Lucy, and trapped her against a wall. He bent down to her eye level, and whispered, "I love you."
Lucy flushed, and pushed him away, shoving a laundry basket into his hands. "S-stop saying I love you to get out of your chores."
Natsu scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Dammit I thought that worked."
Lucy sighed. "Fine," She brought her arms and wrapped around his neck, and brought him down for a soft, yet gentle kiss. "I love you too."
Ooh, what's this? Summer is alive, and is posting a small fanfic? Yes I did! I finally managed to write something without throwing it right away! Sorry for the long wait, I've been stuck in a writer's block, not only that, but I had... family issues to deal with these last weeks.

Also, yesterday was my birthday. Of course, since it's Ramadan, I couldn't eat, but I did get some brownies and a bag of Takis as a gift :)
