Black Roses Red
Chapter 1
My heart is broken
Somebody fix it.
Where do i even start.?
Brooke threw her cellphone on her bed. Her eyes burned and she was basically running on pure fumes and alot of caffeine. She had spent weeks on end. She hadn't worked in her store or on fashion in years. Julian saw no point in her working at all. They had two boys who needed her. And he made more then enough money. She lost contact with most if not all of her family was all she really needed. Becoming a shut in. Aside from going for the occasional walk around the block. And taking her 10 year old twin boys to school. She stayed in her house. She was having her groceries and any supplies her sons needed delivered.
For weeks on end she had been raising her twin boys Davis and Jude on her own. After a near fatal accident that almost killed both her sons. Julian left after having himself beaten up and her yelling at him. To pull himself together and be a father because she needed him.
He left before the sun was up after their big fight.
At this point she just wanted him home so they could talk things out and move forward. But he wasn't contacting her. Ignoring her calls and texts.
She was consumed with stress and worry. When she heard about her friend Lucas Scott returnig to town alone.
It peaked her interest because of how happily him and Peyton had left things when they made their way out of town.
Hearing the sound of combined laughter coming from upstairs.
"Davis and Jude Baker. It is way past you're bedtime. Turn off the tv and go to bed!" Brooke yelled out from the bottom of the staircase.
"Goodnight Momma!" The boys replied. Laughter coming through the walls of their bedroom.
When the front door to her home opened.
She jumped relieved to see her husband.
"Julian. You can't just take off and cut off contact. I need to be able to reach you i was so worried and stressed out. We need to talk." Brooke explained.
"Enough talking! I didn't come home to hear any of this!"
"Where are my boys.?" Julian questioned.
Brooke ignored the strong aroma of alcohol and smoke coming of of him.
"Asleep in their room. We need to work on our marriage. I know you're disappointed over the lack of fans and the low ratings for you're latest few movies. But this isn't the way to deal with it."
"I ordered dinner. Let's sit and eat. We both need to relax and unwind." Brooke suggested.
"I'm going to bed!" He from her. As he made his way into the kitchen and grabbed ahold of two beers. He opened one and drank it then took the other one upstairs with him.
Brooke sighed deeply. She cleaned up around the living room. Then made her upstairs. By that time Julian was asleep.
Brooke made it a point to quietly undress and make her way into the shower. She focused on cleaning herself. Ignoring the bumps and bruises that were displayed throughout her body.
Marriage was a sacred serious commitment. One Brooke was determined to keep.
