Set a few months before descendants 3 Mal and Ben have been dating for 3 years now
"Mal" the young king said knocking on his girlfriend's door "Mal honey what's wrong" she wouldn't open the door and he swears he could hear muffled cries "please open the door" he heard the click of the door lock assuming she had used her magic he opened the door And saw the purple haired girl curled up on her bed crying
"Mal" there was no reply he walked over to her and sat on the Bed putting a hand on her back "baby what's wrong" "I can't tell you" she muttered "you'll hate me" Ben's eyes widened "Mal I could never hate you even if I wanted to " he hugged her
"Mal" "hm" "is it something to do with the isle" he asked gently trying not to upset her anymore "no"
"It's nothing just forget it" she said walking towards the door but Ben grabbed her hand before she could leave "Ben let me go it's nothing" "Mal if it was nothing you wouldn't have been crying" he said getting up and pulling her into a hug "benny" she said after a few moments her voice barely above a whisper "yes baby" "you wouldn't think of me any different if I told you something you should have known a while ago right"
"Of course" he said squeezing her hand reassuringly "Mal I love you and nothing and mean nothing will ever change that"
"Ben I-I" Ben hugged her even tighter "I'm bisexual"
Ben looked down at her to see her eyes squeezed shut her hands in front of her face as if expecting a hit
"Mal it's ok" she opened her eyes moving her hands from her face to look at him "you're not mad" "no baby why would I be mad" Ben asked not understanding why he would be upset
"because it-you" she she stuttered not being able to form sentence due to the fact that she was crying
"Mal It's ok it's nothing to be ashamed about" he said "Ben what if the kingdom finds out" "Mal it would be good if the kingdom finds out"

"you could be a motivational speaker and role model for thousands of young girls and boys who are questioning their sexuality or who's parents aren't excepting you could teach them that it's ok to be in the lgbtq community and that they should be proud of who they are " Ben said hugging her once again
15 minutes of hugs later
"Mal" "hm" they were cuddling on Mal's bed "can you tell me how you realised you were bi" Ben ask quietly Mal smiled "when I was twelve I watched this show and there was a lesbian couple it made me think about dating a girl and I liked it so I settled on lesbian for a while but then I watched a movie and there was a man in it that I found attractive and I got confused I did some research and I realised that i was a bisexual" Mal explained smiling fondly at the memory
"I love you so much baby"Ben said cuddling her he couldn't believe she trusted him with such personal information "I love you too"
