Hello guys.

A quick one-shot I decided to write up for originally addressing one massive thing I haven't addressed before is the character destruction done to Lyla Michaels.

The Arrowverse writers wanting to make Lyla fit with her comic book counterpart made her an agent of Novu for years meaning she knew a threat was coming only said nothing to anybody.

Frankly, I'm not a fan of the Arrowverse Crisis on Infinite Earths, I find it to be a cheap rip-off of the Avengers Endgame film and has done more damage than worth it.

Oh, fair warning if your fans of Diggle, Lyla, Felicity, Barry, Bruce Wayne, or Kate Kane then this story is not something you should read.

I am happy the spin-off of Green Arrow and the Canaries having Mia Smoak aka Olicty spawn with Earth 2 Laurel who was better off as a villain given her redemption arc failed, and Tina Boland… no Dinah Drake being a patch job Canary who ended up more of a selfish villain, has been officially confirmed as not happening.

Now on with the story.

Cemetery outside Queen Mansion.

Sara standing there looking down at Oliver's tombstone feels John Diggle and Lyla Michaels approaching from nearby with turning around to look at them.

"Whatever either of you are thinking of saying, don't. I can tolerate you being here at my husband's funeral since you were his allies, but don't push it" Sara says briskly.

"You have no problem with Slade being here, so I don't get your problem with us," Diggle says icily.

Letting out a light bitter laugh "Really Diggle? You are not a brother, but a vindictive, narrow-minded traitor who put Ollie down any chance you could while being a massive hypocrite. Ollie didn't bring himself back on this new earth due to Felicity, the recruits or you for the abuse convinced him he deserved death for being a monster. I'll never forgive any of you for it, and I'm not the only one" Sara replies harshly.

"You ran off like the selfish coward you are and slept around like a whore while not giving a damn about Star City" Diggle snarls.

Meeting his gaze unflinchingly "You're not wrong, I did, and it will forever haunt me for I got nearly an entire town of women murdered for the stigma of them seen as witches since I slept with nearly every woman not caring about the damage due to the period's rigid views. Only neither Ollie or I never told you is my soul wasn't fully restored until Constantine finally figured it out" Sara says.

"And what's exactly your problem with me?" Lyla asks.

"Really? Do you even have to ask? You were working with Mar Novu for years knowing we had a threat coming and did nothing Lyla" Sara says irately.

"The Monitor made me promise not to tell so it wouldn't interfere with the hero's journey," Lyla says but the defense sounds hallow.

"Perhaps, only from Amanda Waller to Novu, you must just enjoy being somebody's chained lap dog" Sara replies "Barry may have caused the crisis to come forward years earlier due to being spineless wimp towards Iris instead of making sure Nora West stayed in the future and created this new timeline by invertedly recusing their daughter, but you knew for years. All that time we could have been preparing."

Lyla merely looks off while Diggle's eyes widen after a moment of coming to a realization.

"Oliver when having the power of the Spectre for reforming the multiverse removed Barry's powers and let Wally West be Central City's new Flash," Diggle says in surprise.

Nodding "Yes he did. Just like being sure to bring Timothy Drake who became Batman, and Rose Wilson as Drake's wife as Ravager to stop Kate Kane years ago. Giving Gotham City the true heroes it needs. Plus made sure Bruce Wayne got therapy following his parent's death, which is sadly a fixed point, instead of his path into Batman as an insane, no killing abusive zealot" Sara replies.

"Just goes to prove Oliver never learned anything beyond always having to control people's lives and is no better than Malcolm," Diggle says angrily.

Rolling her eyes "I know if it were Felicity who did all that you would be worshiping her" Sara says.

Glaring "And he had to rewrite reality to make himself married to you" Diggle replies.

Shaking her head "No, they got a divorce in the original timeline upon moving to that cabin after the whole Ninth Circle Mess. We met up after that and in a way, we've always been married in each other hearts. In this new reality, Oliver just had a chance to make it official" Sara says happily.

"But Mia is Felicity's daughter, you're saying they had her after a divorce? No, I refuse to believe it" Diggle says.

"Actually, I've always been Mia's mother, but I guess it's easier to sell the story of Mia being Felicity's child who yes was pregnant," Sara says.

Frowning in confusion "Then who's the father and what happened to the kid?" Lyla asks.

"You haven't figured it out yet, Lyla? All those years Diggle blindly defending Felicity Smoak is because they started having sex shortly after she joined the team which kept going through Diggle dating Carly or his marriage to you" Sara says darkly smirking upon pulling a picture out of her pocket "I figured I might need this, in fact, they are hooking up in a back room the day you gave birth to your children. Enjoy the very R-rated security camera photo."

Sara hands Lyla the photo whose mouth slides open in shock, anger, and betrayal with glaring at Diggle who backs up in fear. Lyla punches Diggle in the face hard enough to break his nose, and draw blood from his mouth while sending Spartan to the ground before Lyla walks off.

Meanwhile, Sara rejoins the rest of her friends and family.

Hope you all enjoyed this with letting me know what you think in a review if you want.

Regarding the background for Oliver and Sara behind them getting back together post-season seven is something my friend Stand with Ward and Queen came up with.

The Felicity was pregnant with John Diggle's kid and they've slept together for years is mine, however. As I've said before given how much Diggle defends her them sleeping together makes sense.

For Bruce's fate well, I was very kind for having him get better instead of getting locked up or dying as Bruce should. I utterly loathe Batman post-Frank Miller's work since combined with DC making him a company pet unable to do wrong despite being an abusive nut job or the Bat stans, makes me care nothing for Bruce anymore.

Now Barry losing his powers is from messing around with time for either his needs, Iris or the Barry/Iris spawn called Nora West, I wanted Barry deal with consequences. Since it's the three of them who helped bring the Crisis forward and sped up Oliver's death. It's very sad when Zack Snyder's Justice League cut has Ezra Miller's Barry respect the speed force and only used time travel as a last, desperate hope.

On giving Oliver's eulogy it could be Slade, Barry, or even Anatoly but it was not Diggle.

Until next time.
