AN: I would just like to say that one: I am working on Chapter 9 of Madness and I hope to have it up some times this weekend. I also created a Twitter for my fanfiction: HalfofMySoul1 to also have a way to notify you guys.

Okay, bye.

At a Crossroads

Summary: Bella tries to make a deal but gets something else in return.

-This story will not take place during a particular time in the show.

Tears fell from the young woman's eyes as she dug a hole in the ground, dropping the dingy wooden box into the Earth. She sniffed as she covered it over with dirt, standing swiftly, turning around in a circle.

She ran a hand through her hair, whispering, "Come e on….I want to make a deal dammit,"

"Which shall be granted," A voice with a thick British accent spoke up from behind. The woman swiveled around, her eyes widening slightly at the man that stood before her. He was a few inches taller than she, almost 6ft she could guess. He was dressed in a black suit, and short black hair laid upon his head. His face was painted with a beard that framed his face, and in the harsh light from a nearby streetlight, she could see that he had brown eyes.

The young woman tilted her head upon the man, swallowing. The man did the same, looking upon her. He stared into her eyes for a long moment, eyes narrowing at a sudden sensation that passed through him.

With revelation, a smirk came upon the demons face. "Never thought I'd meet you in this lifetime love," The young woman frowned in confusion. The demon stepped closer, looking at the woman with new eyes. "Crowley. King of Hell. You are Isabella Marie Swan. I have to apologize. I can't accept your deal,"

Isabella frowned, her dark brows eyes flashing with sadness and then anger. "Then I'll find someone who can," She snapped, bending back down to dig up her box. "Let me clarify darling, no one will accept your deal," Crowley's shoes crunched on the rocks as he approached her.

He bent down, grabbing her chin, gently turning her face so that she'd meet his eyes. Her eyes were glossed over with tears, her breathing heavy. "I just want everything to go back the way it was before…" She trailed off, her voice breaking slightly.

Crowley swiped a thumb across her cheek, catching a tear. "I know what you want, but it's something you can't have. You wouldn't be here, and it's imperative that you are. Things happen for a reason dear Isabella, and this was always meant to happen. Your soul can't be given. It's already mine, and has been since the day you were born," He helped her to her feet, pulling her close to him. "I don't understand," She whispered, her eyes searching his brown ones.

"You are the one I've been waiting for. Hell awaits its Queen, and there, I can give you more than going back. I can give you everything you desire,"

"Everything?" She asked. Crowley smirked, his brown eyes turning red, leaving no white in his eyes. "Why would I have a reason to lie?"

He offered his hand to her, and Bella looked down at it in wonder and confusion. She grasped his hand, looking back up to see his brown eyes once more.

Crowley raised her hand to his lips, placing a kiss to her fingers. They disappeared into a thick, black cloud.

From afar, two men watched the pair disappear. "Are we just going to let her go?"

"She's no longer Heaven's concern. We got her far enough. She is to remain untouched. The King and Queen have finally been united. Our job is done Raphael, and that is final. If we wish to avoid a war, this is best. Father is waiting," The man disappeared and Raphael followed.

The world for the moment would remain intact.
