It had been months earlier that Private had figured out to his shock that he had developed a rather large crush on Maurice out of all animals. He always felt safe, and comforted around the grumpy Lemur. Although with King Julian always around he never got the chance to be alone with him.
This crush had long stayed dormant as he was 100% sure Maurice didn't like him like that, even if he did swing that way King Julian would have a better chance with him then he did.
