At Ever After High, two new girls were walking the halls while the rest of the students were in class.
"Ugh, this place is too bright," said one of the two as she used her arm to shield her eyes. She had red hair down to her mid back, long black horns that protruded through the top of her head, grey skin, and purple devil wings. The sclera of her eyes were pitch black while her irises were red like her hair.
"We can get you a hat, Ricinus, but for now try wearing these," said the other girl as she handed her a pink pair of sunglasses. This girl had the same skin tone, and horns as the other, but her horns were a little shorter. However, the sclera of her eyes were white and her irises were an amber color, and instead of devil wings she had a pointed red tail.
"Thanks, Lily, but I'm alright," said Ricinus as she held a hand up and pushed the sunglasses away from. The two were the Devil sisters, daughters of the Devil himself.
"Okay then," said Lily while putting the glasses back into her purse.
"I have to go this way to get to class, so I'll see you at lunch," she said before hugging her sister and walking away. Once Lily was gone, Ricinus fell to her knees as her hold body shook with pain.
"Hey, are you alright, Ricinus?" asked Raven who had been on her way back to class after going to the restroom.
"Good to see you, Raven; and I'm fine, just can't handle being touched by anything good," said Ricinus as she forced herself to stand. Raven had met the Devil sisters the day before when they first arrived at Ever After High as she was the one assigned to show them around.
"And Lily is not a normal devil since she is good, right?" asked Raven.
"Yeah, some days I'm surprised she wasn't born an angel as she's so kind to others," said Ricinus who was starting to feel the pain lighten up. Suddenly, everything froze as a girl with white hair down to her hips and wearing a light blue dress appeared from a flash of a bright light.
"Now that sounds like an interesting idea," said the girl with a big grin.
"Oh, you want to know who I am?" asked the girl while looking right at the readers.
"Well I'm the title character, Monaca Moon, daughter of The Man in the Moon, and I love messing with people," said the girl with a mischievous smile.
