"Watch it flaim brain!"

"What did you say?!"

Angry shouts came from behind her. Her head shot up from the book surprised as she gingerly held it in her hands. She was spending her day in an outside cafe on a perfectly sunny day. It was 20 degrees outside and not a cloud in sight was in the sky. She wore a red tank top that was tucked in the black shorts she wore. She also wore white socks with nice Nike red and white shoes. Her gold hair was up in pigtails with her bangs out. She turned in her seat and let out a piercing scream as she couldn't dodge the body that was hurled her way.

"LUCY KICK!" She quickly kicked the figure and the body suddenly went away from her. She closed her eyes and sighed, placing her hand on her chest where her heart was. Her life just flashed before her eyes. "Man, that was close." She breathed, inhaling and exhaling a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, she noticed that the figure that she kicked, was now standing on their feet as if nothing happened.

"Whatcha kicking me for?!" The figure shouted, stomping towards her.

"YOU WERE HEADED STRAIGHT FOR ME-" she stopped and noticed that it was a man in front of her. She frowned deeper when she saw the pink hair. "Pink hair..?" She murmured.

The man in front of her growled. "It's salmon."

"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SALMON AND PINK HAIR HAH?!" She shouted at the man, her hands curled into fists. She put her hands on her waist and leaned forwards, peering in his face. It was probably dyed.

The man stomped back, angrily. "It's totally obvious!" He leaned his face in as well, angrily. "People who don't know the difference shouldn't be allowed to be in public!"

Lucy rolled her eyes and leaned back, huffing as she glared and crossed her arms over her chest. "Oh, like you should be talking Mr.I-like-to-fly-and-land-on-random-people-"

"I didn't mean- agh!" The man's head suddenly was pushed downwards as a woman with crimson red hair appeared beside him. She had brown eyes just like her own and silver armor that covered her neck down and over her shoulders. The armor departed where there were no sleeves. Her chest armor overlapped her chest and struck down like swords onto the dark blue skirt she was wearing. Her stocking was blue as well, but they went up to her knees and stopped. Lucy frowned when she saw a blue tattoo on her right shoulder.

She really must like blue, Lucy thought as she studied the group.

She smiled apologetically. "I'm terribly sorry for the trouble we have caused, Miss. It won't happen again." She bent downwards and apologized again before glaring and hitting the young man with pink hair. "WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT DESTROYING THE TOWN AND DISTURBING THE TOWN FOLK!"

Lucy jumped back, terrified. She watched the young man try and protest back - but it only ended up with another slap on the head from the woman. Who were these people? She pondered as she studied their clothes. It didn't look like they belonged here. Did they belong in a cult? Maybe a guild...

"Gray- WHERE ARE YOUR CLOTHES?!" The redhead screamed, turning and chasing after another man who was behind her. Lucy frowned when she saw a strange tattoo on his chest. It was dark blue, just like the woman's emblem. He was only wearing his boxers along with a silver chain around his neck. The man with raven hair who was standing previously behind her had jumped terrified and ran away from the woman.

Who the hell are these people?! They're like wild animals!

Her eyes widened as she looked over at the pinkette and realized that he had the same emblem on his shoulder. Are they in a cult? Turning away from the two people the pinkette was with, he walked up to Lucy. "I really am sorry for almost hitting ya." He wore a scaly scarf around his neck. Lucy hesitated, but smiled back and waved her hand back and forth.

"I'm just glad you're not hurt." She replied, watching the two people behind argue.

"Oh don't worry about me!" He raised his arms and put them behind his head and chuckled.

Lucy felt her heart jump at his laugh and smile. There was something off about him, something that attracted her to the man but she didn't know what. Was it his strange pi- salmon hair? Her sweatdropped. She had to make sure she didn't get his hair color wrong again. Who knows what will happen.

The man suddenly bent down and picked up an object and held it out to her. "I think you dropped this." He gave her a toothy grin as he held the object.

Blinking, she looked down and realized that it was her book. "Oh! Thank you-"

"Natsu, we must be going." The redhead shouted for the man. His name was Natsu?

"Yea yea, Erza I'm coming!" He shoved the book towards Lucy and she took it with a startled yelp and watched him wave goodbye and turn away while running to the group he was just with.

"Wait!" The blonde yelled, taking a step forwards.

The man (Natsu), turned around and frowned. "Yea?"

"What's your name?" She asked, drawing her fingers back as she bit down on her tongue. She couldn't but help wanting to know his name. Even if they just met in a matter of seconds, she was drawn towards the group and felt as if something was missing.

Missing within her.

"Natsu Dragneel!" He shouted, turning away and waving dismissively. Within that, the group disappeared and she was left there astonished. Her mouth was open with shock and she simply held her book by her side.

Natsu Dragneel?
