ELSIE'S RESTRAINT AND REVELATION

Hello dear people. As a way of distraction from my other story, which is still in the works (Charles's Christmas Carol), I decided to write this one-shot, which came to my mind few days ago, in the middle of the night, as always.

Story summary: After surviving a terrible shock, Elsie's look on the question of marriage dramatically changes, to Charles's satisfaction.

One-shot, T-rated. Hope you will like it.

Legal note: I don't own any of the DA characters.

Charles was still in a state of an awe. He was amazed, that one minor accident can have such extraordinary consequences, extremy pleasant consequences to be exact...He would never be able to predict once he came back from London, that the small event-harmless car accident, that he and Pratt had, when he came to pick him from the station, will effect Elsie's feelings that much...

Of course he couldn't knowns that a leader of all gossipers in the village-Mr Rubens have seen the accident and hurried to the Abbey, to pass bad news to the downstairs people, he wasn't aware, that when Elsie heard that her husband had a car accident, she became pale as a ghost and almost fainted, collapsing to the nearest chair. They were married for six months now and one thing that he learnt about Elsie, was that she was always perfectly calm and self-controlled, in literally every life situation, so he would have a big problem with believing, that his reserved wife was shaking outside and inside, when she heard the news and tears appeared in her eyes, because she didn't know whether he was alive or dead.

He also couldn't have known, that she couldn't calm down, until the moment when Charles was safely delivered to the house, by Thomas, who used other available car, to go there and find out what really happened.

Thomas found him and Pratt in good condition, with few little bruises, more scared than actually injured. After they made sure to secure the car, they went back to the Abbey and that was when Charles had his first, major shock, expressing itself in the behavior of his normally strict and not showing her affections wife.

Charles already knew, that the gossiper-Mr Rubens made a bigger deal than it really was from this accident, but when he entered Elsie's sitting room and he found her as jittery as she never was before, his jaw dropped to the floor.

Elsie didn't show her emotions, Elsie was never sentimental, Elsie was always the one who controlled herself so perfectly, that someone who didn't know her so well as Charles, who didn't know that this strern exterior hides a kind and loving heart, would probably found her a really cold woman, with a little amount of feelings.

Normally, when they parted for few days, when he had to go to London or she wanted to visit her sister, they didn't make a big deal of it and when she or he came back, they greeted each other with joy, but not with an exaggerated enthusiasm.

However today it was different. As soon as he crossed the door of her sitting room, he was swept of his feet by the greeting that she gave him...She got up from her desk, with a speed of lightning and she ran towards him, just to fell straight in his arms, hugging him, kissing, him with a passion which was earlier unknown to him from her...She kept on caresssing his face, repeating over and over again, how happy she was, that he was alive and that nothing bad has happened to him...

Charles was so touched by those unexpected erruption of passion and a clear sign of pure love from Elsie, that all he managed to say in response, was that it was just a minor accident, that really caused no harm to him or to Pratt, but Elsie seemed to be in denial of what he was saying to her...He understood, that she must have had a tremendous shock, when she heard about him being in the accident and he let her cosseted him with her love...

He responded eagerly to her kisses, he held her tightly and when she told him, that he means everything for her and that he is her whole world and always has been, his heart was melting...For a moment they both forgot, that they were not at home, but at their workplace, it didn't matter much..

Later on it was even better. When they came back to the cottage, after dinner at the Abbey, Elsie kept on holding Charles's hand, as if she wanted to made sure that he was actually there, with her...She was asking him about his injuries and even though he assured her, that it was nothing, she insisted, that he should show her his injuries. They were small and really didn't hurt that much, but Elsie medicated his wounds with utter tenderness, asking him if it didn't hurt, few times during the whole process...

When she finished, she treated him with few extra delicate kisses, in the place of the injuries and he was so touched by that, that he drew her closer and kissed her with enormous gentleness...She sat on his knees and he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her even closer to him...

One thing lead to another and very soon they were both in their marital bed, kissing and touching...

Charles felt like he was with Elsie for the first time...She was so...Different, so sensual, so passionate...It was never like that before...The intimate side of their marriage till now was..Correct...That was the word that came to his mind when he thought about it...Externally everything was as it should be, but Charles always thought that something was missing...He knew that Elsie wasn't much of a romantic, he knew that she wasn't sentimental, he accepted the fact, that she seemed to enjoyed those marital relations, but she didn't expressed it in an explicit way...He took whatever she was able to give him in that sphere and expected nothing more and nothing less...

This night was different...So different, that Charles wished that it stayed that way forever... When he saw with how much of an ardour his wife was getting rid of his clothes-which has never happened before...He sometimes helped her to take off her night gown, but it was never other way round, like now...When he saw how flushed she was, when he touched her, how impatient she was for his kisses, for his touches, for his caresses, he prayed in his mind, that this Elsie would stay, stay forever like this.. He loved Elsie in every form, but this passionate woman was someone that he wanted to keep forever..

When he saw that hidden layers of desire in her, when he felt how she touched him in the places of his body, that she has never touched before...How she shivered, when their naked bodies united...He saw her reactions, he listened to the words that she mumbled, that never before came from her mouth and finally, how probably for the first time, she has reached the peak of her pleasure without any difficulties, he knew that he wants it to be like this forever...That he never wishes to go back to what they had before...That this was real Elsie-fierce, exuberant and even a little wanton, which met with his full approval, to his own amazement...

After the intercourse, she didn't hastened to get dress, as usual, but instead, she was still lying naked in his arms, relaxed and fully satisfied...

Charles kept on stroking her body and kissing her hair and face, while she reciprocated, fondling him and letting him know how precious he is to her, with her every touch...

They lied like that for a while and Charles hesitated, if he should asked Elsie about a change in her.. He was afraid, that once he will speak the magic will be gone and they will go back to their old routine. However he had to know, had to inquired about it...

"Elsie...What happened today? I barely recognize you...You have never been so, so..."

"So? I told you Charles...I was so terrified when I heard about the accident...I didn't know if you were alive or..."

"It was just a small accident...I'm fine..."

"Thank God...If something had happened to you Charles...I...I wouldn't have a reason to live no more.."

"My love...Oh my baby..."-Charles cuddled Elsie tighter...

"This made me realize that possibly...I wasn't the best wife till now...I didn't show you my feelings enough..."

"Elsie..You are the best wife I could dream of...I wouldn't change a thing in you...You are perfect for me in every way possible...And tonight...You have fulfilled my wildest dreams...Our closeness..."

"I adore our closeness Charles...I always have..."

"Really? Until now, I thought that you were not to keen on it...You were always so reserved, you rarely showed your emotions...I even assumed, that I somehow forced that closeness on you sometimes...You've never shown almost any enthusiasm..."

"On the contrary Charles...I love our closeness...So very much...It's just that...Nobody has ever teaches you how to behave in..You know...Marital relations...Nobody explains to you what you should do...I was afraid that if I will show more enthusiasm, you may find me...Wanton...Too wanton..."

"Elsie...You can be as wanton as you like...I love you in that version..."-He stroke her thigh, enjoying it's smoothness...

"I wanted to show it to you many times before..To let you know how much I enjoy our closeness, but I didn't have enough courage...Will you forgive me?.."

"Sweetheart, I have nothing to forgive you...I'm so happy that we got to this place..If it took my minor accident to get us here, I'm grateful that it happened..."

"Charles! What a peculiar reason to be grateful!"

"Elsie...I have a feeling that from now on, I will have much more reasons to be grateful as a husband, that I had since the beginning of our marriage..."

"You definitely will Charles...I can promise you that...I love you..."

"And I love you my sweet pea..."

That's all for this story. Short and sweet...Also I always believed, that from those two, Elsie was actually the one who was less sentimental and less inclined towards showing her feelings, so maybe it would take a small shock for her to break those dames..One way or another, I'm glad she did...I seriously hope that you will have a moment of joy reading my stuff. Is there a better way to start a weekend? Stay safe and see you soon!
