This is a miniseries. Inspired mostly by the Action Comics issue #775 and the amazing movie ´´Superman vs The Elite´´. This isn't connected with Justice for The Land of The Samurai. Is a whole separated thing, also don't worry I am not abandoning that story.
This is also a personal thing for me because I want to spout Luffy views on superheroes actions and his overall sense of power. Remember, Luffy has been around for more than 20 years, he is basically a Japanese Hero, even though he isn't one.
Sorry about this little rant, let's start.
At the Justice League Satellite.
The Straw Hats were still hanging out on the world of the Heroes. After the whole thing with Kaido, Luthor and Big Mom they wanted a break. The heroes all agreed as long they don't cause any problems or chaos, which the pirates agreed on. Right now, the entire Straw-hat crew was chilling on the Justice League Satellite.
''Man, this is cool. Although if there is any giant monster to battle now?" Asked Luffy.
''Luffy don't get any ideas. I want to rest, at least 1 month before we go back to our world.'' Said Nami reading a fashion magazine.
''Sure, but if I don't get some actions soon, I will start to get weak.'' Said Luffy.
''Somehow I doubt that.'' Said Usopp while drinking a cappuccino.
''Well, if Luffy-kun wants to fight something big, maybe the Justice League can give something to fight.'' Said Jinbei.
''does he know what happens when Luffy has too much energy?" Asked Chopper to Robin.
''I don't know.'' Said the Archeologist.
Soon a few members of the Justice League (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Flash, Martian Manhunter and John Stewart) went to the center where the Straw hat was handing out to see how they were doing.
''Hello everybody.'' Said John Stewart.
''Hi guys.'' Said Usopp.
''So, nothing major today?" Asked Wonder Woman.
''No, we are taking a break right now.'' Said Robin.
''Hey Bats, is there anything happen in your town?" Asked Luffy.
''Usually there is always something happening in Gotham.'' Said Batman.
''Do you have giant monsters attacking your city?" Asked Zoro.
''No. Basically we have more ground villains, like psychopaths, mutants, monsters and other horrors leaking in the darkness.'' Said Batman.
The answer of the Dark Knight made the pirates a little split. Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Franky were smirking, Usopp, Nami, Brook and Chopper were trembling while Robin and Jinbei had little reaction towards that.
''So is the Justice League with big problems at the moment?" Asked Usopp.
''We are in a good spot. Right now, some of our cosmic allies are dealing with a threat.'' Said Hawkgirl.
''Oh good. What is the problem?'' Asked Brook.
''We are having some problems with a race called the Dominators. We have been fighting with them for years and they never seen to give up.'' Said Superman.
''Fighting aliens! That's cool, I want to go.'' Said Luffy.
''Me too.'' Said Zoro.
''These peoples don't know the definition of suddle.'' Thought Batman.
''I dont understand, how can they be that full of energy after all that fight? My muscles are still hurt.'' Said Jinbei.
''Well Jinbei, that's one of the points of this crew. We don't stay put for too long.'' Said Robin.
Soon Flash phone started to vibrate and after looking at 100 emails in one second he saw something that Iris send him.
''Superman, did you check the news today?" Asked Flash.
''No, I didn't have time. Why?" Asked Superman.
''What is the problem flash?" Asked Martian Manhunter.
'They are back.'' Said Flash worried.
''Who?" Asked Hawkgril.
''The elite.'' Said Flash.
The heroes of the room all looked worried. Superman was the one that at the moment very concerned of what was going to happen. While they had their episode, the Straw Hats were confused.
''Who is the Elite?" Asked Chopper.
''The Elite was a group of meta humans that tried to act as a superior form of Justice.'' Said Superman.
''What do you mean?" Asked Nami.
''They were the self-described ´´new type of heroes´´.'' Said Batman.
''The group act as some form of serious heroes. They all saw themselves as superior people and went to commict slaughter over their enemies. Saying that it was best option, always eliminate your enemies from the face of the planet, since they don't deserve Justice.'' Said Superman.
The explanation of The Elite maid the Straw Hats very shocked. So far, they liked all the Heroes they meet and like them, they didn't approve killing. But those guys seemed like bad news.
''What!'' Scream Luffy.
''that's nuts.' Said Sanji.
''What happen to them?" Asked Zoro.
''Superman scared after they challenged him. They thought they had him by the ropes, but he quickly turned the ties.'' Said Wonder Woman.
''Nice job.'' Said Franky giving Supes a thumbs up.
''Yes, you rock Superman.'' Said Choppers.
''Thanks Chopper. But right now, its no time for celebration. They might strike back.'' Said Superman.
''But I don't see why they would attack you again. I mean you kick their ass seriously.'' Said Nami.
''Well Nami, as I am reading this apparently Superman is not their new target.'' Said Flash.
''What? So, who are they after?" Asked Superman confused.
''They said ´´They want to meet the weird rubber kid that has been hanging out with the Justice League´´.'' Said Flash.
Everyone turns their had to Luffy, because that was pretty much confirmation that they wanted to speak with him
''Me? Why?" Asked Luffy.
''Is obviously that they want either to fight you or make you join their cause.'' Said Martian Manhunter.
''Exactly. The Elite is not Suttle, they will try something.'' Said Batman.
''But why Luffy? Aren't like a billion-superpower people for them to target?' Asked Nami.
''In the article it said that Luffy is like the future of super power individuals. Embracing what he has over to the point of the surreal´´.'' Said Flash, and that seen to imply that because of Luffy upbeat attitude he was a role model for the new generation.
''Is that true! They want him to be the model for the new overpower nutbojs.'' Said a new voice.
Soon everyone turns their heads and see Law and Kid walking towards the room.
''Tra, Jaggy.'' Said Luffy.
''What you two were doing?" Asked Robin.
''I been collecting some of the mystical herbs from this world to take to my ship. I am not an idiot, and I am not discarding good medicine.'' Said Law
''don't get you nose in my business. So, we heard those news. Is that true?" Asked Kid.
''So, this Elite wants Straw hat ya to join them?" Asked Law.
''Yes.'' Said Superman.
''We need to make sure that Luffy doesn't get near them. That is the best option.'' Said Batman.
The Straw Hat captain however, was not liking this option and decided to go with his own.
''Man, this is not cool.'' Said Luffy.
''Luffy they are trying to protect you. I mean you still haven't got all your strength back from Onigashima.'' Said Nami.
''it's the best solution captain. We can handle those Elite bastards if you want.'' Said Sanji.
''But if superman defeated them than I can also do that.'' Said Luffy.
Superman decided to explain why he fought the Elite in a more simplistic way.
''I fought the Elite to prove my standards. They wonder why I had all this power and wasn't using it. I do use my power, but I use in a matter than doesn't make me feel like a god. I don't want to feel like I am above everyone. They see the world as ugly and mean, so they decided to be ugly and mean to the world. I made to see that I killed them when in reality I just made them fell unconscious, nothing more. I don't need to kill to make a point.'' Said Superman.
Law and Kid upon hearing that argument felt a little bit of truth in those words.
''Super-ya is right. Over everyone we meet he is the most powerful one.'' Said Law.
''We can't argue with that. The guy could shake Onigashima to the ground isn't a weakling at my standards.'' Said Kidd.
''Luffy-kun do you think this Elite wants you?" Asked Jinbei.
''I will meet with them and see what they really want. If they want to attack me I just kick their asses.'' Said Luffy with a laugh.
The entire room shook their heads. That was the type of answer that Luffy would give.
''You are not serious?" Asked Wonder Woman.
''Why?" Asked Luffy.
''You guys are stronger. But compared to super humans like the Elite, they might give you trouble.'' Said Martian Manhunter
''Is those guys immune to haki? I guess not?" Asked Zoro.
''If they want a piece of Luffy them they can fight us to.'' Said Sanji.
''There is nothing we can't handle. You guys know that we are SUPER!'' scream Franky.
Soon the Justice League decided that there is no arguing with the pirates and decided to let time be the judge of that.
''Hey Batman, can you track the Elite?" Asked Nami
''it will take time.'' Said him.
''don't worry we are not in a hurry.'' Said Robin.
''Huh?" Asked Batman confused.
''What are you all up too?'' Asked Hawkgirl.
''Superman was the original target of those guys. And now since they want Luffy, is going to be a little more difficult to get to him.'' Said Nami.
''It seen that is more easy track them than just let them go towards us.'' Said Robin.
The Justice League agreed with that. Since the Straw Hats didn't have a base in their world, is easier to track the Elite and arrest them.
''If Luffy is their target than we must set up a trap.' Said Superman.
''Yes, there is a good chance that they had their power increase since last time.'' Said Batman.
''Agreed. Manchester Black, might be at full power at this moment.'' Said Superman thinking of the British villain.
''Plus, they don't have the same crowd support as last time. So, they are seen more as terrorist than heroes.'' Said Wonder Woman.
''We don't know. All you need is a good advertisement and you can hide a big menace as something of hope.'' Said Batman.
''You guys don't need to be worried. Luffy can handle them.'' Said Chopper.
''Chopper-kun is right. Thanks to the training in Wano, Luffys haki is out of the normal.'' Said Jinbei.
''Although we don't know how Haki is against the powers of the Elite.'' Said Superman.
''And we don't know how much they have been training.'' Said Batman.
''But there is always a chance. There always is.'' Said Wonder Woman.
''Guys relax. I can handle them.'' Said Luffy.
The heroes only look at Luffy a little tired. Even after a while they haven't got used to the Straw hat captain ways.
''Are you that relax with all this?" Asked Martian Manhunter.
''Yes, I am not worried.'' Said him.
''Luffy I don't know. This time might be serious.'' Said Usop.
''We don't know what those people have of power.'' Said Franky.
''don't worry guys. If anything happens to me, you all can participate in the fight.'' Said Luffy and everyone just face pal.
''Can't he take this a little more serious?" Asked Law.
''No, I guess that peanut of brain can't comprehend this.'' Said Kidd.
The Heroes decided to start a research upon the Elite where abouts and sent to the pirates if something comes up.
''He still super carefree.'' Said Hawkgirl.
''Are we that surprised. We been with him for a while, I thought most of you were used to that?" Asked Flash.
''Yes, but this is a situation to be chilled.'' Said Batman.
At the Elite hide out.
The once famous hero team and now terrorist group was looking at their untraceable phones where abouts and tabloids about Luffy. The group was still composed of the group that fought Superman all those years ago: Manchester Black, Coldcast, The Hat and Menagerie.
''The news are all over the place. The Justice League will cause a discussion soon.'' Said Coldcast.
''Yo Black, do you still think this is a good idea?" Asked Hat.
The leader of the group only smirk as he lights up a cigarette.
''You guys are still not sure about all this? This kid, is our key to a new life of power.'' Said Manchester showing a picture of Luffy.
''What is so good about him?" Asked Menagerie.
''What is so good about him? Look at how free he is and how he uses his powers.'' Said Manchester showing the videos of Luffy swing around Metropolis.
''Are you sure about this? We are already on thin ice and do you think people will accept us back once we have the rubber kid at our side?' Asked Hat.
''We are not going to be the same guys like all those years ago. Things are different, society is different, and we are different too.'' Said Manchester.
''Yes, you are right. Things changed.'' Said Coldcast.
''We are stronger.'' Said Hat.
''And smarter.'' Said Menagerie.
Manchester only blew a smoke and smile at this.
''So, let's be careful and act like gentlemen. If we want the kid to join us…we need to act the part.'' Said Manchester.
''Not to worry man. We got your back.'' Said Coldcast.
Manchester grim at this. His plan to get back at Superman was working so far. According to some news, this kid was able to sustain and even handle Superman, if they get him at their side they might have a chance. After Superman is gone, the regime of the Elite will spread around the world and a new style of superheroes will be born.
First, this a miniseries. Let's see how Luffy handles with these ´´heroes´´ that are in favor of killing. This will something nice to reflect upon in the discussion. Next chapter will be the new set up.
