chapter one
it was 5 am in the morning, clary and her mother just arrived at their new house in Idris. "mom, is that our new house" clary said in an excited voice, Joslyn smiled, it was the first time in months that her daughter smiled. clary got out of the car, took her bags and Joslyn opened the door.
the house was a mention it had five rooms and three bathrooms, it was your typical dream house.
clary puts her bags on the floor and starts bringing all of the bags that were in the car, once she finished it was already 6:30 in the morning, "Clare, the movers will be here soon with our furniture" said Joslyn, clary ignored her and went upstairs, clary was looking for the biggest room in the house, when she found it, she ran to grab her stuff. as she took her stuff someone knocked on the door "come in" clary shouted from her room assuming it was the movers. clary was walking downstairs assuming it was the movers so she didn't bother to change from her dress t-shirt when clary saw it wasn't the movers she gasped and screamed it was her brother Jonathan.
Clary's POV
"JONATHAN" I screamed, I would kill him for what he did to me (in the story Jonathan raped clary) then mom entered the room I hope she kicked him out I thought.
"mom," he said in a happy voice, thankfully my mom didn't look happy as I stood there I lost myself in my thoughts.
LAST YEAR flashback- I was in my room hearing music and painting when Jonathan took my arm and pulled me I thought I was going to die, I tried to fight back but he was too strong, then he tied up my hand and legs and then he covered my mouth, and put me in the van, after a 20-minute drive he stopped at an abandoned warehouse and starts dragging me there. once he stopped I was in a room full of men and then they all took off their clothes I immediately close my eyes and then they all started to push me around and then they took it to the next step one of them raped me and I blame Jonathan because now I can't go near men and I cant trust them. and then once they finished my mom arrived with the police, and I was lying on the floor naked and when my mom walked in she gasped when she saw me full of bruises and naked my mom took off her jacket and carid me to the car. that was the last time I saw Jonathan and since then my mom and I have moved to L. A and Florida and now Idris ist been a tough year. end of the flashback.
'clary" my mom said she was holding me now and we were on the floor and there was no sign of Jonathan "Clare, are you alright?" mom asked, I shook my head and noticed I did it again. I got up and went to my new room, mom is very patient with me she never pushed me or anything. when I enter my room I noticed that the walls were white like a canvas I took out my art supplies and started to sketch on the walls of my room.
later that day, I got out of my room and saw that the mover arrived and mom was instructing them what to do, I went back to my room and was pleased with the first wall and then I took my work out clothes and changed. when I finally finished painting my room I went downstairs and said "I'm going for a run" mom nodded and then I left.
Joslyn POV
as Calry left I went to her room to see what she was working on and I see the first wall was full of birds and flowers very well detailed and the rest of the room was full of monsters and demons I gasped as I stared at-in I'm surprised that clary finished drawing the only thing that was missing was colour which I imagine that she will do that later. once all the furniture is in its rightful place I start unpacking boxes. when I finished organising the living room someone knocked on the door so I went to see who it was and then my happy face went to shit it was Jonathan.
"Hello mother," he said in a normal tone I was mad at him but instead of showing it I answer "hello Jonathan, is your father with you?" I ask "no, why," he said, I was relieved so I said "can you not show up when your sister is here?" he looked at me furiously and angry "that's what you say" he screamed I look at him and say "you broke her, you know. so now leave before I call the police" he turned around and left, I closed the door and locked it.
Clary's POV
after I left the house I went to the woods and sat there, and then I hear someone coming and so I started to get up and then the hottest boy came up to me and said: "hello red, do you need help?" the moment he called me 'red' i wanted to kill him "don't call me red" I said I an annoyed voice "my name is Jace" he said I a smug voice "clary" I said and then started walking home but then I stopped at a coffee shop I ordered coffee and then when I turned around I saw Jonathan...
