Hi guys!
New story here… so I know I said I might do the anodite story first but I just decided to release this first.
Our Scarlet Witch will obviously be different from the other one. No Agatha whatsoever, we're focusing on the teenwolf dynamic here.
She's fully English.
Relationships isn't the main thing here just like my other fic.
This is just something that has been playing on my mind.
Not as plot thickening as Mystic Falls but all funny, cute but drama involved.
Quite different character too from the other one, even though my own character more or less meshed to create Cherith Gilbert and might end up meshing with Guinevere, they will definitely be different.
She starts off slightly cold, and angsty but she ends up actually being a sweet, sarcastic and badass queen. Though she can be emotional, confusing and elegant.
P.S. GUINEVERE'S FACE IS DAENERYS TARGARYEN AND HER AUNT IS PLAYED BY CHRISTINA HENDRICKS.
Airport.
"GUINEVERE!!! OVER HERE DOLL!"
Guinevere stifled a sigh as she saw her aunt wave her a few feet away in the airport, people turning to stare at the woman who had a huge beaming face on.
She had just landed after an almost 12 hour flight from the UK to California and she was feeling all sort of ways.
Exhausted, broody, disgusted, sad, mad, but more importantly… relief flooded through her as her aunt hugged the living daylights out of her only niece.
"Oof! Aunty, you're killing me here…"
She mumbled though a slight smile appeared on her face as the red haired woman stepped back with a grin.
"Hush dear… it's good to have you here. And what have I said about you calling me Aunty? It's Cassy to you dear… in Beacon Hills, I'm known as the hot divorcee TV reporter. I'm not about to let you make me feel old."
Cassy huffed playfully and Guinevere chuckled, shaking her head before moving to hug her aunt again.
"It's really good to see you again Aunty…"
"Oh doll, it's only been a week since you last saw me… but I'm glad you're here too…"
They stayed that way for a moment before pulling away from each other, slightly emotional and Cassy patted Guinevere on the cheek softly, helping her with her bags.
"Come on, let's head on home… Beacon Hills is still over 2 hours away."
Guinevere stifled a grimace.
"Home… right…"
She mumbled as they walked out of the airport and towards Cassy's car.
"Come now… Beacon Hills might be smaller than London but I assure you it's a really nice town!"
She gushed as they put the luggage in the trunk of the black Jeep and climbed in to begin their journey.
"Of course, there have been some… alarming incidences here and there but… it's not bad! Really!"
She beamed at Guinevere who didn't believe her one bit.
Cassiopeia Jones was a very eccentric woman.
Cassy was her mother's sister.
And Guinevere was super glad she had her in her time of need.
Every main character had to have a sort of tragic background.
She'd read books, watched movies, comics… but she definitely didn't see herself as a hero nor a villain.
If anything, she was more of an anti-hero.
Just a few months ago, she had been The Hon. Guinevere Primrose Hamilton, only child of Lord Oliver and Lady Poppy Hamilton, her father, The Viscount of Granville.
While their family hadn't been much on love and things like that, they were rather close and her father made sure to shower her with not just the nice things of life, but he gave her good advice when she needed it.
Her mother who had married into the British aristocracy took to it like a fish out of water while not forgetting where she had come from as well.
So yes, her life had been a good one, that is, until the elder bastard brother of her father decided that since he couldn't become the Viscount, then her father didn't deserve to be one.
And then 2 months ago, the private plane her parents had been on crashed as they were returning from their travel and they died instantly.
Guinevere's fists tightened on her lap as the rain beat down on the Jeep that October afternoon and she looked out, wondering if her mood was actually affecting the weather…
It hadn't taken long for the accident to be linked to Noah Evans, the bastard brother, but what was done was already done, wasn't it?
He had ruined everything.
Taken her parents from her when she was just 17 years of age.
Oh how she hated the man… wished him dead!
He had been sentenced to life imprisonment in Wakefield prison, one of the worst in the UK.
But Guinevere hadn't been done with him… oh no…
An heartless smile crept on her lips slowly as she remembered what she'd done to him… how he would become a shell of a person in a year's time, stuck in his mind, no where to run, no where to hide… screaming himself hoarse in reality while in his mind… his absolute nightmare.
She gave him her judgement.
And while no one knew what was wrong with the man who suddenly became insane the day he arrived in Wakefield, Guinevere knew it was all her doing.
Because… while her family was of aristocracy… they had another secret.
A secret that had continuously skipped a couple of generations.
A secret that most families never even dreamt to have…
A secret… she'd carry to her very grave.
"We're here doll…"
Cassy softly prodded her niece awake as she stopped by her home in Beacon Hills.
The sky was still gloomy and it was just a bit past 4pm.
Guinevere opened her eyes slowly, a yawn escaping her lips as she looked out the slightly misty window and towards her new… place of residence.
She got out of the car after her aunt, ignoring the little pitter patter of rain and the cold that blew around her.
The house was big… that much was true.
It was a beautiful two story red brick house that looked slightly English.
It had 2 beautiful white glass windows on each side both up and down and the front door was guarded by 2 white pillars with a sort of white brick canopy over it.
Above the door on the second floor was a beautiful arched window and by the side of the house was a connected double garage.
Luscious grass covered the property too with low edge bushes at the windows, coupled with a bunch of colorful flowers.
There was also a walkway towards the front door besides the one coming from the garage itself.
Then a giant tree stood in the grass in front of the house and slightly by the garage door.
"Beautiful right?"
Cassy smiled beatifically as she opened her trunk and Guinevere gave a side smile, walking over to her aunt.
"How much did you get from your ex-husband to own such an house?"
Guinevere wondered and her aunt gave her a look as she helped her pull out the bags.
"Hey! I earn quite a satisfactory amount of money at my job, thank you very much… but yeah… I did get quite a lot from him. Marry well kiddo."
She winked at Guinevere who scoffed as they moved towards the front door.
"In the case that you've forgotten, dearest aunt, your niece will be a Viscountess when she turns 18 and also has a trust she currently has access to… so I don't need a man or woman to give me what I want."
"Oh wow, look… it's a trust fund baby…"
Her aunt sarcastically looked at her, amusement in her eyes and Guinevere ignored her as they finally walked through the door and into the home the 17 year old would be staying in for the time being.
It was beautiful, all whites with sturdy wood and elegance. It reminded her of her manor home in London.
She actually missed it as much as it was huge and tiring… it was her comfort place.
Guinevere followed after her aunt as they climbed up the beautiful marble white staircase and to the second floor, Cassy opening a white door and giving Guinevere a smile.
"You go in first… I tried to add some elements from your room back home and mixed it up with a new design. Hope you like it."
Guinevere walked into the room and honestly, it wasn't bad at all.
Her aunt had truly outdone herself.
While not as big as her room back home, it was large enough for a king sized bed, an antique looking desk and chair, a window seat, a TV hanging on the wall, some other beautiful decorations and a door leading to a bathroom and walk in closet.
Guinevere turned to her anxious aunt.
"It's wonderful… thanks aunty…"
"You're welcome Vera… now I'll leave you to settle in and check the house yourself… if you're looking for me I'm either in my office downstairs or in my room at the end of the hallway okay?"
She winked before closing the door and Guinevere sat on the super comfy bed, staring around.
New country, new life, new school.
Now that was something she'd been trying to avoid all this while.
When she had been in London, she'd gone to an upscale private school that her father's family had always gone to…
It had been boring, having to learn etiquette, horse riding, ballet, archery, golf… cooking… it had been so… laid down, like her future was only going to be about prancing around like some royal brat, which she was, no doubt about that…
Guinevere had always wanted more than that life.
She had been a rebel at heart.
Her parents never knew the other side she had… the side that snuck out at night to party, drink, act like a delinquent with friends that they'd never want her to be with.
She did it all… she was no innocent, and she regretted absolutely nothing about it all.
But now, she had to start over again.
She stood up, walking to her window and looking out of it.
The rain had finally stopped and up in the skies, the sun fought to shine past the dullness of the greys…
The street was quiet, some houses as big as her aunt's and some not.
Cassy Jones was a 40 year old divorcee with beautiful wavy red hair just below the nape of her neck and blue eyes who had left England at the age of 19 and eloped with her Texan boyfriend to the US where in no time they had their son, Alex.
He was 20 now and served in the US Army and Guinevere had always been rather close to him, envied how he could do whatever he wanted without having judging eyes on him from everywhere.
But… she was in America now though…
She could do whatever she wanted…
Make any kind of friends, make bad decisions freely… but at the cost of her parents.
She scoffed bitterly.
"Nothing was ever easy."
She closed the curtains shut, relishing in the dark glow of the strange and unfamiliar room.
She had unpacking to do.
October 9th.
"So Beacon Hills High is nice doll… I'm sure you'll make a lot of friends! Who wouldn't want to befriend you anyways? Beautiful, aristocratic, and you have a sexy English accent!"
Cassy gushed the following week, Monday, as Guinevere prepared for her first day at a new and strange school.
A public school too.
Her aunt had almost put her in Devenford Prep, a private school, thinking Guinevere would be more comfortable there, but Guinevere had convinced her to let her go to a public school instead.
She wanted to do things differently in America… do things how she wanted her life to be… starting with where she was going.
Guinevere rolled her eyes amusedly as her aunt placed a plate of pancakes in front of her with a cup of tea and she looked at her.
"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence aunty… Hm, can't remember the last time I had pancakes…"
She pondered and Cassy snorted.
"You've got to start eating American style now doll, no English breakfast except when I'm in a good mood to cook or you are… and maybe I can corrupt you into the coffee lifestyle as well."
She smirked as she brought her own mug of coffee to her lips, sipping it with relish and Guinevere snorts, slowly picking up her fork and knife to eat.
"You can't make me drink demon piss Cassy… enjoy it on your own."
"Oh come now Vera! There are different flavors of the demon piss as you call it! I assure you you'll love some. When I moved here believe me I had some trouble adapting but it was terribly fun! Now eat up so I can direct you to the school, I already registered everything down for you so you'll be having absolutely no problem whatsoever navigating your first day."
Guinevere grimaced.
"First days… I hate first days aunty!"
"It'll be fine! You just need to endure the staring for some weeks… they rarely have new students after all… add to it that you're super gorgeous and the niece to a TV reporter… yeah… I feel bad for you now."
She gave Guinevere a sympathetic smile who grimaced into her tea.
"Bloody hell…"
Beacon Hills High School.
"How do I look, aunty?"
Guinevere or Vera as she preferred to be called over Gwen, stepped out of her car behind her aunt's, a sleek black 2011 Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Cassy got out as well, looking her usual ostentatious self and both standing out with their hair, thankfully it seemed classes had already started a few minutes before and Guinevere honestly didn't mind it at all.
Cassy stared at her niece up and down before grinning.
"Well, you look like a trust fund baby there's no doubt about it."
Guinevere grimaced as she stared at herself with her car window.
She was dressed in a two tone knit Balmain mini dress. Black and white. Pairing it with a white and black Balmain unbuttoned sweater and pure white calf length boots.
She had wanted to go with heels but decided against it.
Oh well… not that she really cared anyways… she loved the fashion world and if a bunch of teenagers ended up being intimidated by her, it wasn't as if she was there to make friends…
Better this way.
"Miss Jones!"
A blonde haired slightly shorter man walked up to them with square rimmed glasses.
He had a slightly star struck look in his face and Guinevere rolled her eyes… it wasn't unexpected of course… her aunty was a beautiful woman who turned heads and had curves to die for.
"Ah! Mr. Thomas yes we spoke on the phone, right?"
Cassy beamed as she shook the man's hand and it looked like he turned to mush…
Guinevere paused when she spotted a wedding ring in his hand and finally decided to step in by clearing her throat and the principal turned to her.
"And you must be Lady Hamilton, pleasure to make your acquaintance."
He gave a stupid excuse for a bow in Guinevere's opinion and she heard her aunt stifle a snicker as she frowned at the man.
"Um… nice to meet you Principal Thomas… and please call me Miss Hamilton… Lady Hamilton was my mother."
She swallowed down a dark feeling in her chest and Cassy side hugged her, squeezing her shoulder softly as the principal nodded understandingly.
"Of course! Of course… Miss Hamilton. You'll absolutely love it! We are very welcoming in our school."
"I see that."
She answered him quite sarcastically and Cassy gave her a look though a smile was threatening to burst through as she sighed.
"Well, I guess this is where I'll be leaving you now doll… you know your way back home and incase you need me and I'm not home yet, you know the way to the TV station… just type it into the GPS if you're not sure okay?"
Guinevere breathed out, ignoring her slightly picking up heartbeat and put a smile on her face, nodding.
"Of course aunty… I'll see you later then. I'll give you a bell if I need you or something."
Cassy scoffed softly, playfully tweaking her niece's nose.
"We'll need to change your way of speech too… so Americans can understand what you mean… give me a bell? Really?"
Guinevere rolled her eyes.
"Fine. I'll call you or whatever…"
"There we go. Alright! I have to leave now… I'll see you later okay?"
With that, Cassy thanked the principal, probably not noticing his star struck look and she zoomed off, leaving a disgruntled Guinevere behind as she turned to the beaming man who bowed again.
"Well then, shall we your highness?"
Guinevere breathed in through her nose, already regretting choosing Beacon Hills High…
Class…
"Classes already began a few minutes ago but don't worry, it's not a problem."
Guinevere nodded as she looked at her schedule. Her first class was history and as she walked into the class with the principal, all eyes immediately zoomed in on her.
"Ah, principal Thomas!"
Mr. Yukimura, the new history teacher spoke up with a smile as soon as he spotted him.
"Mr. Yukimura, sorry for interrupting, but there's a new student… and all the way from London!"
Principal Thomas smiled as he turned to Guinevere who stifled a smile on her face.
"This is Guinevere Hamilton."
Mr. Yukimura nodded.
"Nice to meet you, you can take that seat over there."
He pointed behind and Guinevere nodded, about to walk off when the principal turned to her again.
"Well good day, Miss Hamilton."
He bowed again before walking out and Guinevere had to fight not to body slam the man.
With a small sigh and a blank face, she walked towards her table, ignoring the looks thrown her way and settled down next to a pretty girl of Asian descent who gave her a small awkward wave and Guinevere gave her a nod in return.
Bringing out her books, she felt a slight tingle and looked up to see two boys staring at her from the front of the class.
She rewarded them with a slightly annoyed look and they turned away immediately.
Guinevere sighed.
She truly disliked Beacon Hills High already.
"I can't believe we have an actual princess in our school."
Stiles whispered to Scott who was behind him, while still trying to look as nonchalant to their teacher and Scott chuckled slightly.
"Why'd you think she's a princess? No one said that."
Stiles scoffs.
"Okay, Scott. Like they'd actually tell us. I mean, did you see her? She's obviously some kind of European princess or something! Believe me."
"Or maybe she just has great fashion sense apart from being pretty?"
Scott guesses and Stiles makes a disagreeing noise in his throat.
"I'm always right Scott… she's obviously some royal that's undercover or something. I think we're now past supernatural affairs and moving towards some big government conspiracies now."
He joked and before either of them could continue, Mr. Yukimura gave them both looks and they quietened down for class.
As soon as the bell rang, Guinevere immediately packed up her bag and walked out of the class, ignoring the looks.
She never really cared about them in the first place… she knew she was beautiful, they could stare but they dared not touch.
She located her locker immediately and unlocked it, arranging her things and trying not to think about the reasons why she was in a new school across the pond.
She'd get emotional again.
Hearing a slight scuffle, she turned to see those two boys from class again, this time one was pushing the other into a class while his face was bent over.
She turned away.
Must be sick.
Or… she's quite convinced her aunt had taken her to a school filled with psychos…
She had no idea which one she preferred.
As she turned to walk away, she bumped into someone.
"Ow, so sorry!"
The voice squeaked slightly and Guinevere found herself staring at the girl from class earlier she sat next to.
"Ah, no hard feelings."
"I'm uh… my name's Kira… Yukimura, the uh… history teacher's my dad."
She pointed behind her to the teacher who had a small yet pleased smile on his face as he turned to walk off.
Guinevere nodded.
"Okay. I'm Guinevere Hamilton, as you know."
Kira nodded with a smile.
"I'm also new here! I mean… my family moved just three weeks ago, so I also kind of don't know anyone either… so if you uh, need someone to talk to… I could uh… we could be friends!"
She blurted out, gradually becoming embarrassed and a small look of amusement filtered across Guinevere's face.
Kira looked like a puppy of sort.
"Ah… yeah, I guess. Pleasure to meet you then."
She brought her hand out for a shake and Kira beamed, immediately grabbing it too and they both jumped at the slight electric feeling that went up their spines.
"Woah! That was weird."
Kira mumbled as they let go of their hands and Guinevere frowned.
"Odd…"
She mumbled.
That didn't feel like some coincidence of sort… it had come from Kira, actually.
She turned to see the girl still watching her with an unsure expression on her face.
She truly hoped she hadn't stumbled on the supernatural in this small and seemingly boring new town.
London already had it's own supernaturals running around and she even remembered when some new guy had arrived at her school some months back.
Some Jackson fellow.
"Bloody hell… I don't have time for this shit again..."
She muttered before turning to Kira as the bell rang.
"Um, we should head for class now, I guess?"
She hesitantly spoke up and Kira beamed, nodding.
"Yeah, sure! What class do you have? I have…"
As Guinevere drove home that day after school, she idly wondered if it was her mind playing tricks on her, or there actually was something off… about Beacon Hills.
"Even the name is super weird…"
She mumbled before a buzzing in her head made her snap out of her head and she found herself parking by the Beacon Hills reserve.
She blinked once… twice… thrice.
"If this isn't creepy then I don't know what is…"
She stepped out of her car, looking warily at the chains blocking one from passing through and looked at her outfit.
"Not exactly dressed for this but when have I ever cared?"
She spoke to herself.
Besides… something had obviously called her here and she was going to check it out.
Besides… if it turned out to be dangerous…
Her eyes glowed a crimson fiery red.
Well then… the land would be all up in flames.
The forest was quiet but she could hear some animals here and there.
It was peaceful but there was a couple of… taints, surrounding almost everything.
There was darkness somewhere, mixed with the magic.
Something was indeed calling her.
She didn't even know where she was headed, and if she knew, there were ways she could get there fast, but whatever it was… it was directing her over, and not the other way around.
Oh if her aunt knew she was stumbling around the forest alone… she'd probably have a heart attack right there and then.
It had been over 30 minutes when she finally stumbled across a clearing and looked around.
The magic of the area was in droves!
It sang against her skin, inviting and grey.
Her eyes went straight ahead to a giant tree stump in the middle of the clearing.
It was clearly old…
Guinevere slowly walked towards it, eyes wide and in awe as she looked at it.
It should be dead, yet it was alive…
And it radiated power within it.
The feeling was so familiar…
Like she'd read it somewhere in the Darkhold.
It felt like a sacred and holy ground—
Her eyes widened as she finally realized what was right in front of her.
"Blimey… this is a fucking nemeton!"
She breathed out as her heart rate quickened.
A nemeton was a bit rare but not that rare at the same time.
A nemeton or it's plural Nemeta, were sacred spaces of ancient Celtic religion.
Heck, she'd once found one deep in Scotland on a family trip.
But to find one here… alive and acting as a sort of… Beacon…
Her first thought was to turn on her heels and run like hell… after all, if this was attracting supernaturals to it, just how many messed up beings were in this small town?!?
And those deaths her aunt had idly mentioned…
Were they connected??
"Oh bloody hell!"
She cussed, driving her hand through her hair.
"Of all the towns I could have found myself in… it's this one!"
The sky had darkened out already and Guinevere groaned, looking at the stump and idly wondering if she should set it on fire then and there…
The magic in the air immediately turned to one of apprehension and anger and she rolled her eyes.
"Oh whatever! But any funny business from you and I won't hesitate! You might be ancient but I'm power!"
She felt a dismissive feeling in the air and scoffed, turning to walk away before pausing.
"I can't believe I just had a talk with a tree stump…"
She spoke dryly to herself as she walked off.
Not taking into consideration that people, even druids or emissaries couldn't do that… or that Nemeta everywhere rarely ever communicated with anyone or anything.
October 10th.
Beacon Hills High.
Guinevere had gotten used to the straying eyes in just the second day at the school.
Maybe it was because her mind was still on the freaking nemeton she'd wandered across the previous day.
It was lunch time and she sat outside on an empty table, her laptop out as she did her own little investigation on the town of Beacon Hills.
A town in Beacon County, known for its high rates in homicides, mysterious disappearances, strange occurrences such as some sightings of a lizard man…
Guinevere clicked out and sighed.
"Well thank you aunty… you've brought me to a literal Bermuda Triangle. Now I just have to see if I end up surviving or not."
A wave from afar startled her slightly as she saw Kira walking over with an eager grin.
Guinevere still couldn't understand what was up with the girl.
Maybe the electric feeling was some kind of a fluke?
But still…
Guinevere waved at her and as Kira was walking over, she paused at a table with 5 other students.
The 2 dodgy ones from history class the previous day were there as well and a strawberry blonde girl who'd complimented Guinevere's dress sense as well sat back turned to her.
Guinevere idly wondered what that was about.
From what she could tell about Kira, she was slight awkward and shy but friendly at the same time.
Honestly, Guinevere knew she had an aristocratic face. High cheekbones, straight nose, strong eyes that were bright blue and almost purple.
People usually got intimidated though also googly eyed.
But Kira must really want friends or something because she stood up from the table and walked over to her, both not noticing one of the guys giving Kira a smile as she walked off.
"Hey!"
Kira greeted as she settled her books down on the table and Guinevere closed her laptop.
"Hi… already leaving me for them?"
Guinevere playfully jested and Kira grinned, shaking her head.
"No… they were discussing bardo, or what I interpreted as bardo… I hope I didn't embarrass myself."
She spoke to herself and Guinevere snorted.
"Bardo?... What's so interesting about the existence between death and rebirth?"
Kira grinned at her.
"Oh you know it then?"
Guinevere shrugged, taking a sip of her drink.
"I know a lot of things."
Kira chuckled and Guinevere decided it might not be a bad idea to befriend the girl.
It didn't help that Cassy had questioned her on whom she'd befriended at school and if she'd even befriended anyone at all.
"So hey, are you free this evening?"
Kira hesitantly asked and Guinevere looked at her curiously.
"Uh, sure. Why?"
"Well…"
She played with her hands slowly.
"My parents are getting worried about me being some sort of a loner but then my dad saw us talking and he kind of said I should invite you over for dinner, seeing as you're also new here in town."
Guinevere tilted her head slightly in thought.
"Oh you could, bring your parents too! If you'd like??"
Immediately, Guinevere's whole demeanor became gloomy at the mention of her parents and Kira winced.
"Oh God... I said something bad, didn't I?... I'm truly sorry, I didn't…"
Guinevere raised her hand to stop her, not wanting her to go into any sympathetic plea.
"It's okay. You had no idea. I'm an orphan… my parents died in a plane crash 2 months back… that's why I'm here actually."
Kira blanked slightly and Guinevere had the urge to laugh in her face.
She truly did look like a puppy.
She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out and Guinevere gave her a tight smile.
"It's cool. And I should be able to make it for dinner… maybe make a sort of sleepover with it?"
Kira immediately brightened and nodded, clasping her hands together.
"Great! That'll be great. Although… I should tell you my parents are the typical Asian type… ask you a bunch of questions and try to weasel out answers out of you."
Guinevere grinned, waving her concerns off.
"It's okay. It'll be fun… I hope?"
Kira gave her a similar look.
It was going to be some night.
"Hey aunty… so, there's this… girl I might have befriended? And I agreed to a sleepover, if it's okay?"
Cassy immediately looked up from painting her nails and grinned excitedly.
"Oh my gosh! Really?! What's her name? Maybe I know her? I know a lot of people in this town."
Guinevere shook her head.
"I don't think you do. She just moved here with her parents 3 weeks ago? Her name's Kira Yukimura."
Cassy tilted her head in thought.
"Her dad's your new history teacher Ken Yukimura and her mother, Noshiko Yukimura."
She turned to smirk at her shocked niece.
"Am I right or am I right?"
"I don't even know their names! Well, except for Mr. Yukimura and that's cause he's my teacher. How in the bloody hell do you know this?!"
Guinevere asked her aunt exasperatedly and Cassy went back to painting her nails a beautiful aquamarine color.
"Easy. The News station contains a bunch of gossips, me included. When we have nothing to do, we talk about this town or even Beacon County in general. Easy way to get information right?"
She winked playfully and Guinevere snorted, a smile filtering across her lips as she shook her head.
"You are unbelievable Cassy Jones… so, I can go for the sleepover, right?"
"Oh honey! You can go wherever you want. I didn't bring you here to watch your every move like an eagle eyeing it's prey. I know how you can get when you're feeling too closed in. Just… have fun, okay?"
She winked and a warm feeling filtered in Guinevere's chest at her aunt, moving in to give her a side hug.
"Thanks aunty. Now… I should probably have something to give them as a thank you for agreeing to have me here, don't you think?"
"Why?"
Cassy gave her a puzzled look and Guinevere sighed exasperatedly.
"It's only proper etiquette aunty!"
She grouched as she walked off and Cassy scoffed.
"Your aristocratic side is showing doll!"
"I am aristocratic!"
Yukimura Household.
Guinevere got out of her car, a small overnight bag in hand which contained outfits to sleep in and also to wear for school the next day and some other necessities.
The Yukimura household was a one story building but what it didn't have in height it made up for in length, slightly traditional but also modern as well.
It also had some Asian sparkle here and there too.
With a deep breath, Guinevere walked over to the front door and knocked and the door opened to an older woman with a polite yet stern face on.
"You must be Guinevere Hamilton?"
Guinevere nodded, a polite smile on her face.
Noshiko Yukimura had a no nonsense and no time for bullshit look that made a person not want to cross her.
And the air around her… very fascinating.
"Yes Mrs. Yukimura."
Noshiko smiled.
"Please, call me Noshiko."
She brought her hand out for a shake and remembering what happened with Kira, she hesitantly held her hand out for a shake.
Maybe it had been nothing earlier.
But no.
As soon as their hands touched, Guinevere felt energy bubble up between the two and she tried her best to act like she noticed nothing while trying to push away the curious look on the woman's face.
"Come in, please…"
She gestured and Guinevere thanked her politely and walked in.
Just like from the outside, the house had a modern feel mixed with Asian aesthetics as well.
"Your house looks wonderful. Oh! And I brought this…"
She handed the woman a bag and Noshiko looked inside.
"You didn't have to. We invited you over."
Just then, Mr. Yukimura came through a passageway with a smile.
"And by that, she means thank you."
Guinevere smiled.
"Hi Mr. Yukimura."
"Good to have you here. A good thing too, I thought Kira would continue having trouble making friends."
Speaking of, a door opened and closed and Kira walked out dressed casually and she grinned once she spotted Guinevere who gave her a small wave and smile.
"Well then! How about we have that dinner now?"
Noshiko turned to Guinevere.
"How are you with Japanese food?"
"This is really nice, Noshiko. It's been a while since I had Japanese food."
Guinevere complimented as she ate some soba, which was buckwheat noodles.
"It was no problem. So you've had Japanese food before?"
Noshiko asked and Guinevere nodded, swallowing her food and sipping some water.
"Yes. I loved to try new things back in London. And I occasionally used to travel with my parents whenever they had places to go. Dad was a big fan of traveling."
She had a slightly wistful look on her face at the mention of her parents and Kira must have informed her parents on what was a no-go area because Mr. Yukimura changed the conversation.
"So, London. How is it? Personally I haven't been there before but Noshiko here has."
Kira turned to her mother surprised.
"Really? Why didn't I know that?"
Noshiko smiled.
"Because it was a long time ago. I can't really remember much about it. But your family name… Hamilton… it certainly rings a bell or two."
"Ah…"
Guinevere smiled as she swallowed a sashimi.
"That's because my family is from the British aristocracy."
Mr. Yukimura nodded while Kira had a shocked look on her face.
"Really?"
She asked and this time Mr. Yukimura cut in.
"It's sort of an open secret amongst the teachers. Principal Thomas couldn't stop praising how a 'royal' was going to be schooling with us and not Devenford Prep."
Guinevere groaned slightly at the remembrance of the man.
"So like… are you referred to as 'your highness' or what?"
Kira asked curious and Guinevere chuckled, shaking her head.
"No uh… it's actually 'The Honorable Guinevere Hamilton' but when I turn 18, it's going to be 'The Right Honorable, The Viscountess of Granville. Or just Lady Hamilton in speech form. It's all complicated but I didn't make the rule."
She shrugged and Mr. Yukimura nodded.
"Indeed. But rules were made for a reason. Does your family have a motto or something?"
Guinevere nodded.
"Yes, it's 'Frangas Non Flectes' meaning—"
"You may break, but you will not bend me."
They turn to a calm looking Noshiko who had a slightly mysterious smile on her face.
"How did you—"
"Oh I'm quite proficient in Latin."
She answered Guinevere who looked quite impressed by her and she nodded.
"So, I didn't quite have the time to ask but where did you all move from?"
Kira answered this time.
"New York, actually… still wondering why it's this town we moved to though…"
She mumbled the end part and Guinevere stifled a laugh as Kira's parents gave her a look which meant they'd been on this for quite a while now.
Dinner went well, with little stories flowing about and Guinevere finding out her history teacher was Korean but once he married Noshiko, took her surname instead as she had been the last of her line.
Now, the two new friends sat on Kira's bed.
"Sorry about my parents…"
She grimaced.
"I did tell you they would ask a lot of questions."
Guinevere waved her off.
"It's okay, really. It's understandable that they'd ask questions… I'm practically a stranger anyways… compared to my aunt… your parents were literal angels… so! You've been here a bit longer than I have. What's the state of this town?"
Guinevere asked as she went through her bag and brought out some nice paint bottles and Kira brightened as she saw them.
"Well… I haven't exactly been going out and doing much. I'm the kind of person who has to be dragged before I do something."
"Oh my!"
Guinevere playfully gasped.
"I don't think we can ever be friends…"
Kira giggled slightly as she settled on the black paint, just like Guinevere too and went to grab her nail clipper.
"Something tells me you just might end up correcting that, which is weird seeing as you're practically of aristocracy, so except the news are lies, I expect you'd be the perfect picture of a good daughter who does well at school and causes no trouble for anyone."
Guinevere snorts as she cleans her hands with nail remover.
"I don't know who told you that but a large number of us are as rebellious as they go. Also… when you've lived your life having people watch your every move, something ends up snapping within you and letting out your inner minx…"
She playfully flaunted her hair and they both laughed as they began painting their nails.
"So Miss Yukimura… any boys catch your eyes yet?"
Kira blushed slightly and Guinevere grinned as he phone buzzed and she picked it.
She had set her phone to buzz whenever it found something or somewhere in Beacon Hills that actually seemed fun enough to hang around.
"Hmm… 'Sinema'… worth finding out about…"
She grinned.
Hi guys!!!
So this is my new fic...
As you can see... this Scarlet Witch can/might be described as more experienced than my first one.
And she's developing a friendship with Kira too!!
I haven't exactly read a fic with Kira as a close friend, I mainly see Lydia or Allison...
Kira is a character that can be developed a lot so I decided on her!
You can't also expect her to befriend the main characters so easily as well... Take into consideration how Stiles my boo is a suspicious little shit lmao... And baby Scott is like a cute puppy who has a lot on his mind... And then there's Lydia, Allison and Isaac.
Enough said about the three.
I decided my first chapter would just mainly be her settling about and making friends... She can't possibly be involved in any drama without being dragged into it, of course with her knowing about the nemeton and supernatural creatures... She's going to have her eyes peeled out for anything suspicious.
So yeah... The Darkhold...
And yeah... Sinema... #throwback...
I won't update as much as i update my TVD fic though as that's my baby more... but don't worry! this fic will always be updated!
I can't wait for you all to see how everyone realizes their supernatural connections... Lmao!
As for pairings... it won't be Guinevere/Scott and it also won't be Guinevere/Stiles...
Sorry my beautiful people!
I was going for stiles at first but later I was like... nah...
But...
I still have other fics to release though so...*wink wink*
