Welcome one and all to something completely new. Well, not completely new, because it's the seventh entry into my long running Intros series. I don't know about you, but this series is getting harder to do. There's only four games left on my radar, and all but one of them was brought to my attention by another user. More on those other three when they come up.
But that aside, this next game holds a special position, as it's really the one Spyro was most likely to appear in if we're comparing all six of the previous entries to this one. Mostly because he fits the title incredibly well and has been on just about every dream sequel roster I've ever seen. So what game is this? A game that kind of slipped into the crack of mediocrity, but one I honestly kind of love despite not owning the titular system. That's right, it's PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
I honestly have no idea how I discovered this game. I just stumbled onto a video of the Rival Cutscenes for no apparent reason and they've stuck with me. So... that's what we're doing here. And before anyone asks, no there will not be any chapters dedicated to who I think Spyro and Cynder's actual Rivals in this game would be. But feel free to discuss that amongst yourselves, I'm honestly curious who you think would work.
