p class="Standard"strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"A/N: Hey everybody! This is my very first story I have ever written. It is inspired by two Sonic OC's I drew once for fun. When Vic Mignogna (aka the voices of Broly from DBZ and Edward Elric from FMA) himself saw these drawings, he believed a story should be written about them. So that is where we are now. If the story is good, thank Vic. If it isn't good, blame me. Also, considering these are Sonic OC's, obviously this takes place in the Sonic style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanWithout further ado, here we go :)/strong/p

p class="Standard"Chapter 1: The Beginning/p

p class="Standard"span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanThe thunder roared, the rain was threatening to really come style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanWithin the heart of a city on Mobius, a hooded figure is running in a panic through the style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanIt turns out that it is a female hedgehog, and she seems to be hunched over, as if she is protecting style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanUpon closer inspection, she is holding what appears to be two little hedgehogs of her own, but something is different about them. One of them had hair that could move and almost look like fire and turned out to have style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanThe other one had black angel-like wings coming out of their style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanSomehow, these two young little hedgehogs had been born with these abilities; an occurrence for hedgehogs that, up to this point, had never been seen before./p

p class="Standard"span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanThis is actually why she was style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanShe knew this was not normal, so she tried to keep this on the down-low so people would not make fun of her children, outcast them, or style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanUnfortunately, the word did soon get out about her kids, and the locals of the city declared her kids to be freaks, and thus, a danger to them. They figured the best way to deal with this would be to take them out while they were still young, otherwise they might grow up and become major threats to their lives. Their mother would not allow this, so she quickly secured them in her arms and took off./p

p class="Standard"span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanUnfortunately, she knew in the back of her mind that, as long as all these people kept trying to hunt her kids down, they would not ever be safe. Additionally, as long as she was carrying both of them, she knew that that angry crowd would eventually catch up one way or the style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanShe had to find a place for them to hide and be kept style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanShe quickly ran towards the only person in the she could truly call a style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanUpon arrival to said friend's home, which was located just on the outskirts of town, she knocked on the door. As if they were expected there, the door quickly flew style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanInside was a female, grey-colored wolf. Before either of them could say anything, the frightened mother darted inside and behind a style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanSensing the urgency, the wolf quickly closed and locked the style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanShe bolted over to where the mother was and sat her style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /span/p

p class="Standard"span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanWhen they both finally calmed down and were able to breathe, the wolf opened up, asking the poor mother, "Avery, what in the world happened to you?" The mother, whom we now know her name to be Avery, tried to talk slow and replied, "Oh Aurora, it's not what happened to me that I am worried style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanI am more worried what's GOING to happen if all those angry people out there get their hands on my little ones here".span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanShe held her kids out a little so that Aurora could get a better look at style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanThey looked almost as frightened as she was, though still not fully aware of everything that's going style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanAs she finished her sentence, she could hear everybody chasing her outside quickly getting closer. Aurora took one of the kids in her arms, and they all got down low and waited until the mob ran past and couldn't be heard anymore./p

p class="Standard" style="text-indent: 35.45pt;"Once they were absolutely sure they were gone, Avery spoke style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /span"Aurora, I can't allow my kids to keep living like this. I don't want them to only ever experience life on the style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanThey need a stable place to live where those people won't think to look. They need to live where they can be accepted and embraced for who they style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanI don't want to put them in any more danger than they have already been style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanCould you please look after them?" Without a second thought, Aurora replied, "Well sure, but…what about you?" "That angry crowd knows I am their style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanThey believe that, if they find me, they will find my kids and wipe them out. I need to keep that crowd away from them for as long as I can. I am going to go back out there and divert them away from here, even if only for a short while. That should get them to cool off, at least a little, by the time they come back to the style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanI don't know how long I will be away doing this, nor do I know if I will ever be able to come style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanSo I need to know that, at the very least, they will be ok and well taken care style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanYou are the only person I can count on to do this."/p

p class="Standard" style="text-indent: 35.45pt;"Aurora had to take a second to take in everything Avery just told her, but it didn't take her too long at all to make up her style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /span"They will be absolutely safe here", she style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /span"I will see to that myself. I am really going to miss you style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanPlease be safe." "I will do my absolute best", Avery replied. "As long as they are with you, I know they will have a good style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanI hope to see you, and my kids, again someday." With this, they had one last embrace before she said goodbye to her and her own kids. Right as she was about to start running again, Aurora asked, "Hold on, what are their names?" "The tough little one with the wings is Razor, and they fiery little guy's name is Torch".span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanShe smiled one more time, and they said their final goodbyes before she took off into the night in search for that mob of people to divert their attention away from her kids for as long as possible./p

p class="Standard" style="text-indent: 35.45pt;"Unbeknownst to them, a dark, shadowy figure was watching this all unfold from around the corner. They smiled and quickly vanished before being style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanMeanwhile, Aurora and Avery's kids looked on as Avery got further and further away, not knowing if they would ever see her again after this style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanRight as they were about to lose sight of her, Aurora said under her breath, "Godspeed to you Avery, and good luck wherever you go. May there be someone up in the heavens watching over you for the rest of time".span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanAs she finished speaking, Avery became fully consumed by the darkness of the style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /spanAvery….was gone./p
