At the castle everyone was getting ready to go to the world of bending so Lilith and Alador could be alone. "Um I should tell you I invited my girlfriend to come with us." Emira said. "Who is it?" Luz asked as Viney arrived. "Her." Emira said as she kissed viney on the cheek. Then R.J opened up a portal and everyone went in it as it closes.

Tenzin Jinora and Korra were arriving at the air temple when the portal opened and Luz and co came out of it. "Korra!" Luz said as she hugged Korra who hugged her back. "It's good to see you all again." Korra said. "Oh jinora as promised last time I brought you books on the history of the demon realm." R.J said as she handed jinora some books. "So how are things here?" Luz asked. "Not so great spirit vines are all over the city after the unalaq crisis. My approval rating is at 8% and mako and I broke up." Korra said. "Yikes." Luz said.
At the dining room bumi was trying to airbend. "What's up with him?" Korra asked. "Bumi said he airbended earlier but now he can't also he is not good at knitting." Bolin said. "Where's Mako?" Korra asked. "He's staying at the police station. I told him he can stay here since our apartment is a vine habitat now but he wants to be alone." Bolin said. "Look alive uncle Bumi." Meelo said as he threw a plate at Bumi which he airbends to dodge it leaving everyone surprised. "Incredible." R.J said.
The next day Bumi was practicing air bending with Gus and Emily. "This must be from harmonic convergence. It must have triggered an blocked gene in Bumi's DNA." Entrapta explained. "There must be others out there with that gene." R.J said. "Aang would be proud." Tenzin said.
Later that day R.J looked at aang memorial island with Luz. "Luz I never told you this but aang was the closest thing I had to a father." R.J said. "Why?" Luz asked. "Well Alexander told me our father wanted all sons so the moment I was born he straight up left us." R.J said with tears in her eyes. "Wow." Luz said as Korra came up to them. "You guys wanna help me rebuild the air nation?" Korra asked. "Yes." Luz said.
Meanwhile in ba sing se odalia watch Korra through her oracle ball "So the avatar is coming here. I'll have to expand my plans." Odalia said as her oracle ball changed to Zaheer.
