Full Summary:

The Daedalus and Apollo are in need of some repairs from the battle with the wraith in 'Enemy of the Gate'. The only place they can think of where nobody will figure out what they do with the military is Ft. Marshal, an Army Post in South Carolina where the Daedalus was built. What happens when the Daedalus and Apollo land on the Post? Will everyone be forced to sign a 'Classified' paper saying they won't say anything about what is going on in the Hanger Bays? And what about the people on the war ships? Will they be allowed off to have some down time while the ships are being worked on?

Designated Classified:

Earth's Orbit:

Colonel Caldwell and Colonel Ellis were video conferenced in with Colonel Shepard and his team on Atlantis. Both the Daedalus and Apollo were in Earth's Orbit but both war ships needed repairs from the fight with the wraith and nobody knew where to land. The newest member of Colonel Shepard's team was Makela Ketating, a former Runner like Ronon had been. She had brought back Ford and shown them her home world, which she knew had been completely destroyed by the Wraith when her people had fought back, just like Ronon's people. She had never been to Earth before until then and so far she liked it.

Before leaving the Pegasus Galaxy, Colonel Shepard, Ronon, Teyla and Makela had gotten in touch with there friends in the Galaxy and told them what was going on. Colonel Shepard had gotten ahold of Larrin and asked her to keep and eye on the people of the Galaxy just in case they couldn't get back to Atlantis right away. He'd also told her that Makela was safe and that if she needed to, that she should move any people to the Toxic planets that she stocked up on and knew about thanks to Makela.

Ronon and Teyla had told the Athosians that they would be going to the Milky Way with Atlantis and that they would be back as soon as possible. Kanaan took Torren to be with the Athosians just in case Atlantis was destroyed so that he wouldn't be killed as well. Makela and Ronon had grown to be almost like sister and brother. The children that had been in Makela and Ford's care had been kept on Atlantis but had been told to stay in Makela's quarters while the city was in flight as well as in battle. Makela had had to stay behind while Ronon, Teyla and a group went aboard the Wraith Hive to blow the ship up.

With the help of almost every ally in the Pegasus, watching out for those on the ground and helping to defend against the Wraith while Atlantis was in the Milky Way, the people were a little bit more relieved to know that they would be in capable hands. And since almost all the people had temporarily moved to the toxic planets Makela had told them about, there was no real cause in Alarm. Even the Athosians had left New Athos to stay on the toxic planets to keep safe as long as Atlantis was away in battle.

But now that Atlantis was sitting on the Bay near San Francisco, they needed a more temporary permanent spot to do repairs. The Daedalus and Apollo needed to be worked on and there was only one place it could happen. Fort Marshal was where the Daedalus had been built, in secret of course. But that was where everyone was headed. With the help of the Asgard, ZPM's were given to both the Daedalus and Apollo so that they could enter Earth's atmosphere cloaked and de-cloak once on the ground and in the Hanger Bays on Ft. Marshal. Makela, Ronon and Teyla would go ahead in a Jumper and have everything set up for landing.

Temporary Permanent Location:

Fort Marshal had been called and alerted that three highly classified military projects were on there way to the Post. Everyone within the vicinity was about to get a whole lot more secretive and everyone on Post was about to know the biggest secret in the whole of the military, worldwide. Because, as the Stargate Program goes, America wasn't the only one involved with the secret.

Makela, Ronon and Teyla got ready in full battle gear, something that had to be worn at all times when going on a mission. With the Daedalus and Apollo cloaked as well as Atlantis, the landing began. Makela, Ronon and Teyla entered the Jumper they were taking down to the Post and closed the back door. They exited ten seconds later, cloaked and made sure to keep there radios on at all times to keep in touch with Colonel Sheppard and the rest of their command. Both Ronon and Makela had there guns on them and Teyla had a stunner on her as well as her standard 9mm.

As they got close to the ground, they could see people standing on the grass, wondering when whatever was landing was going to land. They were in front of what looked like the main building on the Post, and were looking up, looking for something that was already hovering over them. The three friends laughed before alerting Colonel Sheppard that they were de-cloaking and as soon as they were given permission, Makela hit a button and the cloak disappeared. Mouths fell open as Makela landed the Jumper and opened the back door.

Makela, Ronon and Teyla exited the Jumper and made there way over to Colonel Carter who had been sent ahead for the arrival. Colonel Carter looked at the three and nodded. Makela guessed by the look on the others faces, that they had expected the three to salute Colonel Carter. Though that's what most military personnel are supposed to do, Makela, Ronon and Teyla were not in the military and weren't even from the planet. Colonel Carter spoke up first.

"Ronon, Teyla, it is good to see you again. And you must be Makela. Well how do you like Earth so far?"

"It's greener then I would have thought it to be. While we were descending after the battle last week, I noticed that it was very green and blue. Most of the worlds I have been to are desolate and barren. It is good to see a world that is full of life."

"Yes, well, what were your instructions after you landed?"

"We were supposed to set up a perimeter on the lake so that the City could land without any difficulties." Ronon said.

"Dr. McKay gave us these to use. He said that they would transmit a low frequency to the City and let them know the grid that they were landing in. Colonel Sheppard was in the chair waiting to set the City down when we de-cloaked." Teyla said.

"Then we should head over to the lake. I know Sheppard will want to get out and about now that the expedition is confined to Earth for however long it takes to get back. Come on, we can set the perimeter up now."

"And I have some technology from Mirianic that will allow us to set it up automatically without walking the perimeter of the lake to do so."

"Yes, I was told that you were the one of the Direct Descendants of the Ancients. I would love to talk to you about your technology and weapons sometime soon."

"That would be great. But I kind of want to hit up the local firing range. The one in the city is so confined that I felt like it was nothing."

"Firing range it is after we are done with what is at hand."

"Uh, not to be rude or anything, but why are you talking about different worlds and all that? I mean it's not like there are different people living out there like aliens or something." Colonel Sherwood said. It was clear that everyone around him had the same questions.

"You'll get your answer when the city is settled on the lake. And I believe you already know what the Daedalus and Apollo are since the Daedalus was built here." Colonel Carter said.

"The Daedalus, you mean that classified battle ship that was built here some six years ago?" General Holden asked.

"That would be the one sir. Now if you don't mind, we have some markers to set up."

Makela, Ronon, Teyla and Colonel Carter headed to the lake with the military personnel and their family and friends in tow. Makela calibrated her tech with the markers and with the press of a button, they were floating by themselves as she directed them into the right location and planted them. Once the grid was set up, Teyla told Colonel Sheppard that the grid was set up and that he could land. He took her advice and as within a matter of five minutes, the lake was pushing water over its banks as the city settled on the top of the lake.

Makela, Ronon, Teyla and Colonel Carter all looked at each other smiling. They laughed when McKay's voice came over the radio saying that that was what it felt like for a leaf to kiss a pond. Most of the people still in the city now stood on its piers as Zylenka got ready to de-cloak the city and put the shield up, just in case. The military personnel and there family and friends were watching the four in front of them and within seconds, there mouths fell open once again as Atlantis was de-cloaked and brought into the open.

"What the hell is that?" Srgt. LeBlanc asked.

"That, Srgt. is the city of Atlantis. The legend was correct, it just didn't sink on Earth; it sank on a whole different planet in a whole different Galaxy. That's why these three here didn't salute me when they got out of there Jumper. They aren't military and they aren't from Earth."

"That's right. We three were born and raised in the Pegasus Galaxy. And just like Earth, we have our own enemies. A few weeks ago, we kept our enemy from taking control of Earth and wiping its people out of the history books for good by blowing up there ship. So that giant explosion you probably saw and wondered what was going on, yeah that was us." Makela said.

"You don't say. So, they aren't from Earth, which means that they aren't welcome here. They need to go back to where they came from. Aliens aren't allowed here."

"You've been living with aliens your whole existence General. We've had to relocate people from this galaxy here a few times and they have settled in very well. Nobody was ever the wiser and neither were you. A few key members in the government aren't even from Earth, but you'll never find out who they are." Colonel Carter said and left it at that as the four of them headed to one of the piers and help people down. Using some of Makela's tech, a slide had been rigged from one of the piers closest to the lake shore and was allowing people to get off if they so chose to at this moment. The kids who had been with Ford during the descent as well as the battle were put on the slide two at a time and slid down hand in hand.

Once everyone that wanted out of the city was on the Post, Makela made sure the kids were looked after before she gave Colonel Carter the radio and she told Colonel Caldwell and Colonel Ellis that the area they were going to be landing on was being prepared for them. They were told to de-cloak ten feet from the ground so not to alert anyone that may have been watching to what was really going on.

Colonel Carter headed to the Hanger Bays where the two warships were to be worked on with General Holden, Colonel Sherwood and Colonel Burton, leaving the family members to stand about and look in wonder at the City of Atlantis. Once a legend on Earth that almost everyone on earth had dreamed about at one time or another, it was now settled on the lake of the very base they lived on. And everyone was trying to figure out why there was a bunch of kids with them.
