Disclaimer: I don't own South Park.

Little Wendy Testaburger looked around the playroom full of small children, hoping to find somebody to befriend.

It was the four-year old 's first day attending kindergarten at South Park Elementary. Her parents had just left here there and the teacher, Miss Claridge, had headed to her desk to do her work. Now the little girl was all on her own. She gazed around the room to gaze at the children who were laughing and playing in groups.

She was really hoping to find someone she could easily make friends with.

"There's somebody!" she exclaimed, pointing towards where a group of four boys were hanging out together. She hurriedly happily in their direction to join them.

"Those guys look nice," Wendy said to herself. "I'm sure they'll let me play with them."

As usual, Stan Marsh and Kyle Brovoski were spending their time in kindergarden together. The two young best friends were digging in the sandbox. Nearby, Eric Cartman was stuffing his face with cookies which all of the children were supposed to be sharing at snacktime. Kenny McCormick was also standing close by, looking up at a tall tower of building blocks which reached the classroom ceiling.

"Don't all the cookies, Cartman!" Kyle complained. "We didn't steal them for you to eat them all!"

"Ah, shut up, ya Jew!" Cartman replied carelessly.

"Don't rip on me for being a Jew, fat ass!"

"Don't call me fat, Kyle!" The pudgy over-weight kid whined in his high pitched voice. "I'm not fat! I'm big-boned!"

"Hi, guys!"

The four little boys stopped what they were doing at the sound of a unfamiliar voice. They turned to find out who had greeted them.

Instantly, Stan's eyes widened. His jaw dropped in astonishment at what stood before him and his friends.

Right in front of the boys, gazing at them with a sweet smile, was a girl around their age. Never had any of them seen her before - but Stan thought she looked very pretty. His heart fluttered inside his chest as a strange warm feeling crept through him.

"I'm Wendy."

"Hi, Wendy." Kyle waved to her. "I'm Kyle - and these are my friends, Stan, Cartman and Kenny."

"Hello!" Kenny said cheerfully in a muffled voice from underneath his hood.

"Can I play with you guys?" Wendy asked innocently.

"No!" Cartman snapped.

"Dude!" Kyle exclaimed. "Don't be mean! Of course she can play with us!"

"She's a chick, Kyle! Chicks can't play with guys! She'll give us cooties!"

"That's bullcrap! Your head's so full of shit, fat ass!"

"STOP CALLING ME FAT, YA GOD DAMN JEW!"

"Boys!" Miss Claridge's voice shouted towards them from the far side of the room. "Watch your language! I'm always telling you to stop swearing!"

Stan was still looking at Wendy in his stunned state. He couldn't understand why the sight of her was making him feel so tender inside - especially with that sweet smile on her face. Shaking himself out of his trance, he found his voice to speak to the girl for the first time.

"Don't listen to Cartman, Wendy. We don't take any notice of him. Of course you can play with us."

"Oh, I see!" A sly smirk crept upon Cartman's face. "You just want her to play because you have a crush on her! Don't ya, Stan!"

"What?!"

Stan's face went white at Cartman's accusation. He was aghast that the obnoxious kid could such he was feeling such a thing. Stan had no idea what it was that he was feeling around this new girl - but he was confident that it was not a crush.

"Don't be a dumb ass, Cartman!" He shook his head in denial. "I ain't never gonna have a crush, fall in love and get married to a girl! That's just gross!"

"Then why are ya sticking up for her, Stan?" Cartman sneered.

"I dunno - but I do not have a crush on her!" Stan turned to glare at Cartman. "So get thought outta ya fat head, Cartman! Me?! Have a crush?! Dude, that's pretty fu-"

"I like you, Stan."

Stan was cut off upon hearing Wendy's small voice speak to him from close by. He turned back in her direction - resulting in his face going paler than ever with shock.

The little girl was now standing right in front of him. She had paid no attention to the infant boys' arguing as she had walked closer to Stan. She was now right in his face, gazing at him with that same sweet smile. Never had he been so close to someone so pretty.

"I really do like you," she said honestly to him. "Can we be friends? Pretty please?"

It was too much for Stan.

Having a pretty girl this close to him and talking to him was taking a strong impact on him.

There was only one thing the small boy could do...

"BLERGH!"

Stan threw up all over Wendy.

"EWW!" Wendy cried in horror and disgust, turning to run away from Stan and his friends. "HE BARFED ON ME! THAT'S SO GROSS!"

Stan remained stood where he was, standing in a puddle on his own vomit, which was stinking the sandbox out. He was shocked over what he had just done in front of Wendy.

"Dude!" Kyle cried. "You actually threw up on a girl?! Sick, dude!"

"Wow..." Cartman smiled coyily. "I guess that means you do have a crush on her! Don't ya, Stan?"

Stan paid no attention to his friends' comments. He was too appalled and angry with himself over what had come over him.

Why had he thrown up? All Wendy had done was talk to him. He could not understand it, but he deeply hoped it would not happen ever again. He really liked this girl and wanted to be her friend. Stan did not want to freak her out by throwing up every time she would talk to him.

"MMMMMFFFFF!"

Stan was snapped out of his thoughts about Wendy upon hearing Kenny yelling out. He turned to see the poor kid had pulled out a block from the bottom of the tower of building bricks. The tower came crashing down, colourful blocks raining down onto Kenny - and with there being so many falling on him, they completely crushed him to death.

"Oh my God!" Stan cried out in his high-pitched infantile voice. "They killed Kenny!"

"You bastards!" Kyle added, shaking a tiny fist towards the sky.

The end.
