Return of the Titans

Summary

Eren Yeager fulfilled his vow to exterminate the Titans and freed his people of Paradis, who lived in a caged world by three enormous walls that supposedly "protected" them from the man-eating humanoids. The aftermath of this fulfilled vow left other countries scared as 80% of humanity was wiped out due to, "The Rumbling." It was the only way to break the Curse of Ymir. However, 25 years on, unexpected events take place. The Curse returns, the Walls stand tall as if untouched and the Titans roam amongst humanity once more.

Volume One

The world of man-eating titans are no longer after the tragic "Battle of Heaven and Earth." The fate of peace and freedom is left to the 20% of humanity, leaving the question of what will become of the new generation and what is left of this tainted world. One thing for certain is Paradis is free; free from their past, the walls that contained them and the "Titans" that fed off them like livestock, they are no longer burdened from their ancestor's curse. But what happens when the curse returns, the walls built a new and the Titans once thought to be extinct forever, walk amongst the earth as if it was back to square one. However, this is far more complex and unexplainable as this event takes place 15 years before the fall of Shiganshina and the existence of our beloved characters experienced in the year 845... Who can save humanity when Armin Arlert, Mikasa Ackerman and the return of Eren Yeager are trapped in the Paths unable to do anything, especially when they didn't exist at the time. All they can do is watch in the place where life and death does not exist, exploring current memories where the next generation of survivors are trapped in time known as Aimi Ackerman, older brother Emett Ackerman and their close friend Kai Arlert. Their journey is just the beginning, as they will fight for their survival alongside with close friends, new allies, legends of the past and characters we love dear return for one final quest to defeat the Titans and get back home.

Hi everyone, this is my first story I am currently working on. I wanted to post my first volume of the story to give some idea of what this fanfic will be about. I don't expect this story to be amazing but I am excited to get stuck in, got a lot of tricks up my sleeve. This story takes place 25 years after Chapter 139 (hope you are all coping btw), I want to explore many concepts in the world of AOT. Especially the power of titan shifters, characters from the manga that I would love to put my spin on things and certain plot holes I hope to build a concept around. One thing I will say is I am probably a terrible writer, I am dyslexic so grammar isn't my strongest skill. But I do hope I make some sense and the context of what I am trying to portray can still be somewhat valuable.
