Why were we hurled to this Interesting World?

Well they all tried and sadly they had all failed in acquiring a date for the one thing every highschooler looks forward to in their highschool years, and that was asking the one they love for prom.
If it wasn't Amira getting brutally rejected by Damien, it was definitely Brian getting turned down by Polly in legit the worse way possible, Vicky being turned down by emotional bullshit, but logistic facts from Calculester, or Oz being lead on, only to be turned down by Miranda as she saw him less than a Serf.
Granted there was always the 2nd, 3rd, and quite frankly many other events that lead to these in between proms, but no, this was like there one chance to put their courage and love to the test, but now they left with very low self esteem.
"This fucking sucks" stated Amira as she finished burning up the collection of photos she had taken with Damien.
"You don't have to tell us that, we already know" said Brian as he looked down at the ghost sheet he bought in his hands and regrets not using it when he should've, while Vicky leaned against him back to back, deleting not only photos, but text messages, and blueprints between her and Calculester.
"Still this fucking sucks guys, like seriously why" said Amira, "Because all of the people we surround ourselves with are nothing but monsters and jackasses who don't bother to show any sympathy or love for any of us" said Vicky.
As they all let out a deep sigh, they all wondered what's the point of sticking around school anymore, before coming up to join them in their circle of pity and brooding was Oz.
"Hey Oz, how are you doing" asked Vicky as he said nothing but sat their silently holding onto an old artifact he bought from Valerie about 3 weeks ago, the Power Totem of Z'Gord Ruler of the Dark Realms.
Even though he's known for being shy, silent, and isolated for the most part, he usually hangs around his friends to make himself better, and right now that's what he wanted as he was visibly trending.
"Oh Oz" said Vicky as she and everyone got up to group hug their living fear buddy who was silently crying to himself, along with the totem in his hands.
As they began to let out the water works, an all too familiar feline friend and merchant made herself present.
"Sup bitches" said Valerie as she made her way to the group, "Valerie what are you doing here" said Amira defensively.
"Chill now, I usually wander around campus with the intent of being at the right place at the right time to make a sale you know" said Valerie with sassy cat smile.
"Well unless you got something that could take us far away from here, I suggest you leave" said Amira as Valerie could only give a cat smile.
"You know what funny enough, I actually do have something like that on me actually" said Valerie as she began to open up her back pack and dig through her things of miscellaneous goods for sale.
"Ah-ha here it is" said Valerie as she pulled out a standard metal remote with a big red button that had the crude colors of being painted yellow, green, red, and blue on it.
"What's that" asked Vicky as technology always interested her no matter how old and new, so long as it was unknown.
"Supposably with a push of this button, anyone near it can be transported to another world" said Valerie as everyone looked at her skeptically.
"Hey, I'm just saying word by word from the guy I won this off of in blackjack guys" said Valerie before everyone dropped their judgmental stares since everything Valerie has sold to them so far has actually been authentic in regards to what they've bought.
"How much you want for it" asked Brian as Valerie gave a cat like smile, "Well since you guys are planning to leave this place forever and for good, how about all the cash you got in your pocket" said Valerie as they all rolled their eyes and began to empty out their pockets.
"Nice guys, it seems now I can finally get myself that new smartphone I always wanted" said Valerie with a smile before tossing the device over to Vicky.
"Well if you don't mind, I'm gonna get the fuck out of here before you guys teleport yourselves to Satan knows where" said Valerie as she waved them off as the group all looked down at the remote before them in their hands.
"Well guys are we ready to do this" asked Amira, "Well we're practically broke at this point, our self esteem in matters of the heart is out the window, and frankly speaking I think we're just about ready to leave it all behind" said Vicky as they all looked at each other and nodded in agreement.
"Alright guys, incase we're sent off to the human world back in the olden days where they wouldn't think twice in hunting us down without proper prosecution, anyone's got some last words they want to share" said Amira.
"Yeah, I'm happy to start over with you guys all over again" said Oz as Z'Gord let out a demonic sounding purr in agreement.
"Alright guys, to friendship" said Amira, "To friendship" said Vicky, "To friendship" said Brian before they all pushed the button where nothing had happened.
"What the fuck" said Amira in anger, "Dude, boner killer" said Brian in disbelief over them having a moment that lead to nothing, "Hold on guys, maybe I can fix this thing" said Vicky before a storm cloud formed above them.
Granted storm clouds around the area, not the most unusual norm here, but when they start getting bigger darker with lightning flashing, and a vortex opening above them, well… yeah honestly it's still practically normal here.
"I swear to god if this is us having to spend our lives with the interdimensional Prince, I'm… going to start a damn revolt" said Amira as her friends cheered in agreement before realizing nothing was coming out, but rather they were being pulled in.
"I know that hash hashbrown was going to come back to haunt me later on today" said Brian, "No we're all floating right now, also you had a hash hashbrown for breakfast and you didn't bother sharing it with us" said Vicky.
"Guys, I think we have more important things to focus on, mainly where we're going" said Oz as they reached closer and closer to the vortex.
Needless to say, that what was going on wasn't going unnoticed as this vortex was affecting everyone to a minor extent.
Gym
"Come on Scott, show us what you got, are you a wolf or a man" said the leader of the Wolf pack, "I'm a wolf and you know it boys" howled Scott before the Gym doors were kicked open.
"Hey Scott, you got to come out here and see what the hell is going on out here" said Polly as in the brief moment she got the werewolf's attention, the Wolf pack leader went and threw a dodge right between his legs.
"Ow" whimpered Scott as he fell to his knee's with his hands over his nuts, "Hold on buddy pretty sure I got something on the lines of painkillers on me" said Polly as she looked through her purse and overlooked an actual case that read painkillers.
Bathroom
"Let's see matches, check, cans of gasoline, check, plans to burn down half the damn school, check" said Damien out loud as he sat on the can with the door open.
"Hey Damien, do me a favor that while you attempt to burn down the school again, give me a head start to run for the hills, oh and if possible really try to burn down the cafeteria" said Liam looking at his phone as he too sat on the can with the door open.
"Normally I'd tell you to go fuck yourself for trying to order me around, but since it's got something to do with arson, I'll do it" said Damien before both got up from the stalls and began to head out.
Upon stepping outside, they saw the crazy weather forming overhead as Liam naturally took a photo of it as Damien grimaced.
"Ok I seriously both love and hate the fucker who's causing this" said Damien as he looked at the storm clouds approaching.
Library
While Vera was posting and spreading spam and tricking humans out of their money, Calculester was currently cleaning a computer in the figurative sense.
"Students should know better than to use the school computers to look at spam filled adult websites" said Calculester as he took it upon himself to clean all computers with any to every kind of virus.
"if you really want to chew someone a new one, go yell at Polly as she's the one who used the computer last, plus she's the only one I know who flicks it to spring break group sex and drugs" said Vera with a sinister smile not caring she sold her friend out.
"I'm not capable of chewing, however I shall lecture Polly post haste" said Calculester before the power in the library went down.
"How tech geek, what the hell's going on" said Vera as she nearly scammed about 20 million dollars right now, which isn't a lot in monster currency.
"If I had to guess, it might have something to do with the storm that's happening outside" said Calculester as both walked towards the window to see the wild storm happening at the school.
Auditorium
After a long day of reenacting for an upcoming play that's been in development hell for the past 14 years, Miranda and the Interdimensional Prince were ready to talk of cabbages and kings.
"So what do you say darling, come with me and be my bride and I assure you that you'll live a very happy life" said the Interdimensional Prince, "Oh you, you know I could never go with someone who doesn't live under the sea or supports the use of serfs to do anything and everything that I demand" said Miranda sweetly.
As they stepped out of the auditorium they saw all the chaos that was happening outside.
"Huh, is this one of those things called rain season" asked the Interdimensional Prince as Miranda shrugged her shoulders over the sudden violent weather afore them, ok more like extra super violent weather before them.
Outdoors
Trusting her instincts from the get go, Valerie was far away from joining Amira, Brian, Oz, and Vicky to wherever the hell they were gonna be sent to, but close enough to record the whole thing.
"Sweet, I'm so gonna upload this on the internet and play some I See Stars as background music" smiled Valerie as she witnessed them being pulled to the sky, which speaking of.
As they all continued to be carried away into the wormhole above them, a handful of their belongings fell off their body, which are but not limited to, Brian's ghost sheet, the Kanye West glasses that Amira own, the motivational poster Vicky owned, and Oz's erotic dragon fanfic and the Power Totem of Z'Gord, which he was more than certain was crying for his name just as they were being pulled to oblivion.
As the entrance to the wormholes sealed itself for the time being, everyone at school was left asking themselves , 'What the fuck' not knowing their classmates were taken away.
Speaking of, our group known as the Player Characters were traveling through the wormhole scared shitless and filled with a lot of regret.
"Guys if we die at the end of this tunnel I want you all to know something" said Oz, "We know Oz, we love you to and I'm glad we're all friends" said Amira.
"I got a call back shortly after our first performance of the battle of the bands, and told lied to the guy saying we broke up" admitted Oz.
"You did what" Amira said angrily, "I'm sorry I was nervous, they wanted us to play way out of town, and the guy said we had a great chance performing at the first interdimensional Warp Tour as the opening band" said Oz.
"Oz seriously, that could've been our chance to get not only rich and famous, but possibly dates to friggin prom" Amira said angrily, "I'm sorry already, I just panicked alright" said Oz.
"Oz I forgive you" Brian said calmly, "Seriously Brian" said Amira with a straight face, "Damn straight".
"Well maybe you can forgive Oz for ruining our chances to become rockstars, but can he forgive you knowing that you were the one who costed him his once chance of acquiring the public domain rights and full ownership of Munchyroll" said Amira as Oz went wide eye in shock.
"Dude, that was my one chance, one chance to provide free anime streaming service without adds here in our world, while making a shitload of money off the humans in the human world" said Oz angrily.
"Ok man, look I'm sorry but I went and accidentally unplugged the computer when I tripped and fell on the cable" said Brian, "I thought it was me having a bad case of bad luck that day, when it powered off by itself you liar" Oz said.
"Know you know how I feel that we're no longer rockstars now" said Amira, "Ok smart guy, I wonder how Vicky would feel knowing that you deliberately sabotaged her science fair project" said Oz as Vicky went wide eye and looked at Amira with eyes filled with betrayal.
"Amira is this true" said Vicky, "Uh… yeah it is" said Amira shamefully, "Why would you do that I've been working on my project for like months".
"I'm sorry, but I had to, if I had failed, I would've been forced to take summer school" said Amira as she only got off lucky cause she technically wasn't in last place since Vicky at to withdraw.
"Well I had to take the fall for you, you jerk" said Vicky, "Yeah Amira that's a dick move" said Brian.
"You want to know what else was a dick move, Vicky having told the coven you carried with you the Bazbobidibom in order for her to study it" said Amira as Brian was jaw dropping over what he heard.
"Is that why those group of yahoos were harassing me for like a week straight" asked Brian, "I'm sorry Brian, but I had to get them off my trail, before you know they took it away and destroyed it for some stupid reason" said Vicky.
"Seriously they were hanging with me for a week and it took me another week to convince everyone that I'm not associated with them in anyway shape or form" said Brian as those 2 weeks were tough on him.
"Hey guys" said Oz, "What" they all said angrily, "We're about to reach the light at the end of the tunnel".
Turning their heads, they did saw that the end of the wormhole was leading to an exit of some kind, and they all knew anything could happen.
"Hey Brian, I want you to know that I forgive you man" said Oz calmly as everyone looked at him.
"I know that in the long run Sunimation would've done a better job than either I anyone else could've done in the long run" said Oz, "Thanks and I guess I can forgive you too Vicky for using me to deal with the Coven for the week, and I mean we did get a chance to help blow up the ghetto part of town to the furthest pits of hell" said Brian.
"Well since we're all apologizing here, I forgive you too Amira for what happened to my science fair project" said Vicky as all eyes fell on her to forgive Oz now.
"Alright, I forgive you Oz for ruining our chances to be famous, though if we survive wherever this wormhole spits us out of, and we have a chance to become rockstars again I expect you to take initiative" said Amira with a smile as they all smiled before entering into this wonderful world.
With Kazuma's Party
Since his arrival to this 'Wonderful World', Kazuma's party has gained a reputation one of 3 things, racking up a crazy amount of debt, being able to kill the Demon Lord's Generals at maximum effort, and for some reason, always getting their asses handed to them by the giant frogs outside of town.
"Seriously guys, we've been at this for 2 years now, so tell me how is it that 99% percent of the time it always ends up with me having to bail your asses and still get covered in slime" said Kazuma as he knew the short answer to this.
Usually it would go as follows, Aqua would throw herself on Kazuma, while thanking him between her sobs, from there Kazuma accepted the fact he already smelled and was covered in slime before somehow convincing Darkness to allow him to feel her slimed up body, which finally ended with him having to carry Megumin back into town.
Right now instead of drinking and partying back at the guild today, team Kazuma was sent home on the insistence of everyone since they did smell pretty bad.
"It can't be help, those frogs are immune to water magic, Megumin can cast explosion only once per day" said Darkness as she, Megumin, and Aqua were sitting around the living room couch drinking either tea or wine having already being the first ones to take a bath.
"And you can't hit the broad side of a barn when you're standing a foot away, I know that, what I like to know is why don't you all try to improve yourselves and more importantly your skills like me" said Kazuma as he was the last one to take a bath.
"Cause I'm a water goddess, duh, it wouldn't look right or make sense for me to use any other magic besides water" said Aqua, "I refuse to learn any other magic that's not explosion related" said Megumin, "I think it's better to have me serve as the ultimate human meat shield, in case I need to sacrifice myself for your guys' safety" said Darkness.
"Sigh, god why do even bother trying to reason with you guys anyways" said Kazuma as he decided to take a seat next to Megumin, where Darkness was kind enough to hand him a nice hot cup of tea.
"You know, maybe Luna was right about me just better off putting my luck skills in becoming a merchant instead" Kazuma said out loud before sipping his tea.
"But Kazuma, if you're not the one to slay the Demon Lord, I might never return back to the heavenly realm" said Aqua, "You've already ruined my fantasy adventurer life before it began, I already got the feeling you'd still be ruining it in some way shape or form even after killing the Demon Lord" said Kazuma.
"But Kazuma, I must perform an explosion once a day, or I'll die" said Megumin, "Get Aqua and Darkness to help you sate demolition needs, or better yet work in demolition and I might consider letting you stay under this roof" said Kazuma.
"I wonder what nasty thing you have to say about me" said Darkness excitingly with her perverted smile and pants of excitement.
"Seriously, just go home and live the life of a damn heiress already, and maybe then if you can find someone who's a bigger scumbag than me, just marry that guy and be done with it already" said Kazuma as Darkness' needs were by far the most easy to fix.
"Kazuma, I feel a whine coming on" said Aqua as she looks like she's ready to burst into tears any second, "Oh god" groaned Kazuma as this was a part of Aqua he truly hated.
"Kazumaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh" cried Aqua as Kazuma visibly cringed whenever Aqua would nag, more so when she nagged using his name.
"You're so mean to us, but more so to me after all the gracious help I've given you" cried Aqua as she began to let out some tears, "Gracious help my ass, and I only give you grief because truly you are a disgrace to be called a goddess" said Kazuma.
"You're so mean" cried Aqua as Kazuma was ready to stick to his guns like usual, but he felt the intense pressured stares of both Darkness and Megumin with eyes filled with scum and being a bigger asshole than he normally was.
"What would it take for you to stop crying for the rest of the afternoon" said Kazuma frustratingly as Aqua began to lighten her sobs, "Making me a nice Japanese dinner with some sweet bubbly" sniffed Aqua.
"Oh alright, only cause I'm hungry for a good meal too" said Kazuma as he got up to make everyone dinner as all 3 girls looked at each other with a smile, followed by a thumbs up.
Time Skip
After having a nice dinner, Kazuma was just about ready to go back into town and check in both Vanir and Wiz over how much profit he's made since their collaboration.
However, this never fully happened once he notice just above him that some sort of wormhole open above him as he went wide eye in surprise as to what may become of him next.
The short answer to his question was him being used a mattress for Amira, Brian, Oz, and Vicky when they were finally popped out of it.
"Did we die and get sent to hell" groaned Amira as she and everyone were trying to get their barrings and figure out where they're at.
"If we did die, I expect everything to be on fire and possibly Damien's face or his father's faces being posted everywhere" said Vicky before she and everyone else realized they were sitting on someone, that and she felt someone heavily breathing on her ass.
"I think we landed on someone guys" said Brian as he patted on Kazuma's legs before he and everyone got up to their feet.
Once they got to their feet, both parties went wide eye upon first introduction.
"What the hell" said Kazuma as he was surprised to see monsters this close into town without someone notifying every adventurer to arms already.
"What the fuck" said the Player Characters as this was actually the first time they were this close to a human before.
"Who the hell are you guys and why are you here" said Kazuma as he slowly began to crawl back away, as the quartet of friends looked at each other.
"Long story short, we've all been rejected by the people we loved and wanted to take to prom, and so we just wanted to get far away from them and our old lives as highschoolers" said Amira as her words actually got Kazuma to relax and maybe even sympathized with these monsters.
"Are you all serious about that" asked Kazuma, "Dead serious, um no pun intended" said Brian calmly as Kazuma was finding himself befriending more unusual people than he already has.
"Alright, serious question now, you guys aren't here to kill us, or more importantly me right here or now" asked Kazuma as they understood why he would ask that, "Not unless you give us a reason, like you or anyone trying to kill us either now or later" said Vicky.
Taken into what they said into serious consideration, Kazuma decided that against his better judgment to trust them.
"Ok so we're cool" said Kazuma as Oz offered him a hand, "Yeah I think we're cool" said Amira as Oz got him back to his feet.
Looking at their clothes a little better now, these monsters were actually dressed in the same type of attire he or anyone back on earth would dress in terms of the modern highschooler.
"Now that we're friends, allow us to introduce ourselves, my name is Amira Rashid" said Amira as what really stood out about her that worried Kazuma was her hair being actual fire.
"Sup, names Brian Yu" said Brian calmly with a cool smile as Kazuma had mixed feelings when dealing with someone with a laid back personality, also he may have to warn him about Aqua if they make it back inside in time.
"Hi there, my names Vicky Schmidt, but please call me Vicky" said Vicky with a smile as Kazuma felt that she was definitely his type back on earth if he met that perfect American girl.
"Hi, call me Oz" said Oz nervously as his singular phobias waved at Kazuma, which did startle him a little, but he decided to take them in along with the guy who has the voice of a nervous angel.
"Hey, names Kazuma" said Kazuma as he inspected them as they inspected him.
"So what were you up to" asked Vicky, "I was on my way to see some friends whom I think you guys could get along with and connect to in regards of how much bank I'm making before you all came down crashing on top of me" said Kazuma.
"Yeah sorry about that, but honestly we had no idea where we were going to end up in, much less land when traveling through a wormhole" said Vicky.
"Got to admit though, Valerie did not disappoint in selling her products" said Brian, "Still, I wondered how'd she got that device to begin with" said Oz.
"Hold on, are you guys saying you all came here through a wormhole because you pressed on a weird button on a strange remote" said Kazuma as he was getting a sense of déjà vu.
"Actually yes, why is that how you got here" asked Vicky, "No I actually died and got tricked to coming here with probably the most useless goddess in history" said Kazuma.
"You mean the goddess of used tissue" asked Amira, "No actually a water goddess, and wait there's a goddess of used tissue are you serious" asked Kazuma.
"Yeah, she's pretty useless like the god of broken cable wires" said Vicky as hearing this actually gave Kazuma a new perspective about deities.
"Good to know" said Kazuma as that's all he could actually say after learning this.
"Well we better get out of your head now Kazuma, it's good to see you" said Amira as she and the others waved him off, not knowing the danger they put themselves just by walking in town at this hour of the night.
Maybe cause he's had a crappy day, along with 2 years of experience, but Kazuma knows firsthand better than anyone that you can't always judge a book by its cover, which unfortunately can't be said about everyone, much less in world like this.
"Wait" called Kazuma as he ran to catch up to them.
"Look I can't on good conscience let you guys walk around town just waiting to get mobbed down by a gang of angry and scared townsfolk and adventurers" said Kazuma.
"For now we'll return back to my place, and I'll explain to my party members that we're all cool, and figure things out from there" said Kazuma as the quartet looked at each other and nodded to the impromptu arrangement made by Kazuma.
"Alright, sounds good to us" said Amira, "Please lead the way" said Vicky as they all traveled back to the Satou household where both parties lives are about to change.
How's it going people, your Humble Narrator here wanting to try a new crossover fic for your guys' entertainment, granted I guess not much was technically done, but don't fret, things will move on from here shortly before you know it.
Next chapter will focus on both group of friends meeting each other, trying to fit in, and importantly getting the Player Characters to enlist as actual guild members, and while I do have some class ideas for each one, I am open to suggestions and opinions as to what you guys think would suit the perfect class for our main characters of Monster Prom, and then some.
