Hi y'all, I'm Primrose (They/Them, White) and I've never written fanfiction in my life. No actually that's a lie, I tried to write one once and I hated everything about it so I stopped. Anyhoot, what better way to become a fanfic writer than by writing relationship headcanons for a minor character from a game that came out several years ago and only a couple people actually liked? That's right bitches you read the title, we're talking about everyone's favorite Fire Emblem furry, Keaton! It's unreal how much I love this stupid dog, so I'm going to make the cast of Fire Emblem Conquest love him too! I'll be doing every character in the order they appear in the game (to my memory so it might not be perfect). However, I won't be writing any of the children, including Mozu, Elise, and Nyx. Like I said I've never written anything before, so lmk if this sucks! Without further ado, let's begin.

Ok author's note but these first ones are way shorter than the end ones. I completely changed the format for this damn thing half way through and I really have no intention of changing things, so uh sorry Corrin fans

OK SECOND AUTHOR'S NOTE BECAUSE FATES HAS TERRIBLE WRITING apparently Odin, Selena, and Laslow aren't allowed to tell anyone about who they were in Awakening or they'll die or whatever. I blame the wiki, said nothing about this bs. This is a spoiler but TLDR that's like the last part of these three's individual parts and I'm not changing it. Just forget that they aren't supposed to talk about it yeah?

THIRD AND FINAL AUTHOR'S NOTE I'm not including Shura or Gunter because they old af and Keaton is like a baby to them

Corrin:

Keaton never fails to make them smile. He doesn't even need to be doing anything special, just a quick glance at him makes them feel like everything will be alright. Both of them have a tendency to bottle up their emotions and put everyone else's feelings above their own. The two of them work together to try and be more open about their feelings.

Corrin gets regular nightmares and flashbacks of killing innocent people. When this happens, Keaton goes into therapy dog mode; if they're sleeping then Keaton wraps himself around Corrin like a blanket, if this happens during the day then Keaton drops everything he's doing and doesn't leave Corrin's side until they feel better.

Both of them love showering the other in gifts, although their definition of "gift" isn't exactly the same. Corrin loves seeing Keaton so excited to share his weird garbage with them more than the gifts themself. Keaton never has any idea what to do with all the fancy gifts Corrin buys for him and usually ends displaying them in their shared room somewhere.

Felicia:

Felicia's low self esteem mixed with Keaton's hubris make for an unconventional yet perfect symbiotic relationship. Keaton lifts her up when she's feeling down and Felicia grounds him back into reality when he gets too cocky

Any amount of touching or kissing leaves the two of them as blushing messes. Keaton tries really hard to seem like her affection isn't the best feeling in the world while Felicia is absolutely floored any time anyone shows her affection, let alone the boyfriend she loves so much. If they accidentally graze hands, expect the two of them to blush like middle schoolers at their first dance.

Keaton always loves when Felicia breaks shit on accident, much to her dismay. However, he always makes sure to help her with her maid duties. He'll happily carry every dish in the castle if she but asked for it. Not like she would though, she's pretty reluctant to ask for help on anything.

Jakob:

Talk about opposites attract, their relationship is a chaotic beauty. Their room can only be described as an organized mess. No one knows if Jakob has harmonized with Keaton's mess or succumbed to it. Keaton would obviously never intentionally make more work for his boyfriend, but god damn is their room a sight to behold.

The two could spend hours upon hours just talking about the most mundane things. Doesn't matter what it is, when one opens his mouth the other becomes completely enraptured, clinging to every word as if it were a symphony. To most, it's as if the two never run out of things to talk about. They seamlessly transition from one topic to the next, wasting no time with awkward silences or unnecessary pauses. They could be separated for minutes or centuries and they would still resume their conversation right where they left it.

Keaton always makes time for Jakob to vent about his butler-related frustrations. Jakob can curse up a storm when he really gets into it, and Keaton hangs on to every word. One time Jakob was so mad that he punched through a tree. Jakob was extremely embarrassed, but Keaton flooded Jakob with praise. Much to Jakob's dismay, Keaton tells anyone who'll listen about how his boyfriend punched through a tree.

Silas:

Did someone say training partners? The two of them train daily, even after the war; they complement each other perfectly, supporting their strengths and covering their weaknesses with ease. A little (more than just) friendly rivalry goes a long way for them. Whoever's winning the fight is usually throwing flirty comments at the other. Instead of a handshake, the two end their training with a peck on the cheek.

It should be noted that they both have fierce protective instincts and competitive natures. This leads to them trying to "out provide" for each other if that makes any sense. If Silas so much as coughs, Keaton will spend all day hunting the finest game to bring home for him. Likewise, if a single raindrop falls through the ceiling, Silas will turn their room into a castle worthy of his "King".

I keep getting the vision of the two of them having some bomb-ass crying sessions. You know the ones, you cry harder than you have in your entire life and when you're done you feel like a totally different person. Both of them are already extremely sensitive, so really all it would take is a quiet moment shared between the two to break out into hysterical sobbing. They hold each other like magnets, completely inseparable and never apart. They allow each other to be vulnerable, vulnerable for just one moment. They both act so brave in front of everyone, they both understand how painful a smile can be. He's the only one who really understands.

Effie:

In regular dumbass boyfriend fashion, Keaton regularly tries to show off how strong he is. Effie, a woman who could most likely dig a tunnel through a mountain with her bare hands, thinks it's cute. His efforts are usually rewarded with a scratch behind the ears and a kiss. In return, Effie gets to see him blush, only partially from embarrassment. Occasionally, Keaton will bend down to return the kiss. Effie thinks it's the cutest shit in the world.

Effie takes her job as Elise's retainer very seriously, which essentially made Keaton Elise's third retainer. Keaton and Elise quickly became great friends, bonding over Keaton's treasures and generally just being on the same wavelength most of the time. Effie was so happy that her best friend and boyfriend got along so well that she would get a bit teary-eyed just thinking about it. Elise and Keaton both mean so much to her, she wouldn't be able to live with just one or the other.

Remember when I said Silas and Keaton would be training partners? Well Effie and Keaton act more like cheerleaders to each other. Actually, being a cheerleader isn't exactly how I'd describe it; It's more like… Keaton cheers, and Effie turns into Macho Man Randy Savage. Her cheers are aggressive and tend to turn a few heads at the training grounds, but Keaton loves every second of it. He's glad he finally found someone who can keep up with his energy during training. The two of them could honestly exercise all day, only taking a short break for lunch, and then jump right back into it. Exercise is their idea of a good date, it's a chance for them to grow even closer together.

MEAT! The two of them practically only eat meat. With Keaton it kinda makes sense because he's a wolf, but Effie? It's almost criminal how much meat she can eat. One time Effie tried to eat her meat raw like Keaton did. Obviously she ended up getting really sick because she forgot that wolves can eat raw meat and regular people can't. Much to her dismay, she was constantly throwing up and could barely leave her bed. Keaton stayed by her side the entire time, constantly ensuring she was comfortable. Y'all know Keaton isn't the most detail orientated person, but let me tell you that room was cleaner than the most exclusive five-star hotel could EVER be. At one point, Effie started to get annoyed at how dedicated Keaton was to her comfort, but no matter what she said to him he wouldn't stop until she was in top shape again.

Arthur:

Boyfriends who share a brain cell we love to see it. They're both dumb as fuck and brave as fuck, so needless to say date night is never boring. It's a constant cycle of one doing something dumb to impress the other then ending up with an injury ranging from a bruise to a broken arm. They tend to each other's wounds, but not in a compassionate way; it's more "Holy shit your leg is bending the other way! That is so fucking cool!" type of way. It's almost become a contest at this point.

The two of them love helping other people so much that they're practically a handymen service. Asking for help from either of them is a two for one deal, doesn't matter when, why, or how. Their teamwork is a sight to behold, able to determine any inconvenience to the other and prevent it in mere seconds. It's almost as if Keaton has some sort of psychic connection to whatever is causing Arthur's notorious bad luck. Keaton has saved Arthur from a number of things caused by bad luck, ranging from bird poop to frail tree branches and even a landslide at one point. Everytime this happens, Arthur looks to Keaton and remembers exactly why he fell in love to begin with.

Optimistic doesn't even begin to describe these two. You could throw pretty much anything at these two and they'd just laugh it off and keep moving. Of course there's only so much that one person can take, and when they fall they fall HARD. Arthur will lock himself in his room, too afraid to fail again that he won't even try. Keaton isolates himself in a different way, lashing out at anyone who even looks at him, turning into the monster that he tried so hard to hide. When they were like this, the only cure was time and luck, a lot of luck. However, these reactions nearly went away the minute they fell in love. When one of them was feeling down, the other was there to pick him right back up. While their storms never fully went away, they were able to be the rainbow they both desperately needed.

Azura:

Unlike Keaton, Azura is very reserved when it comes to her emotions. However, just because she doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve doesn't mean she can't feel. Many people think that she's emotionless or boring because of this, but not Keaton. Keaton had all of Azura's miniscule reactions down to a science; every glance was a poem, every breath was a story, and every step was a work of art. On the rare occasion that Azura laughed, a small laugh that lasted just a moment, Keaton would fall in love with her all over again.

Azura has tried to teach Keaton how to dance, key word tried. Two left feet is an understatement, watching Keaton dance is like watching a t-rex ice skate. Although it takes all of her energy not to laugh at him, Azura remains diligent in teaching him how to dance. While his skills aren't exactly improving, the two of them just have so much fun together that it doesn't even matter. Azura can't even lie about him being a decent dancer, but she would gladly dance the night away with him given the chance.

Much to Azura's surprise, Keaton is actually very sensitive. He's always smiling and laughing around everyone, but honestly it doesn't take much to reduce him to tears. Honestly, she's a bit jealous of him; Keaton leaves nothing up to interpretation when it comes to his emotions. Like I said in the beginning, Keaton has more or less figured out how Azura expresses herself, but in her own way Azura has done the same. While Keaton acts like he's always happy to help, anyone that knows him (and Azura knows him better than anyone) can tell when he's lying. When it comes to helping people out, Keaton has a tendency to stretch himself too thin; helping so many people that it causes him to collapse. If anyone asks Keaton to do something that he really doesn't want to do, Azura steps in and saves him by making up something that he can "help" her with. Although he doesn't express this very often, Keaton is extremely grateful for Azura's "help".

Kaze:

Two bros, chilling in a hot tub, five-feet apart cuz they're not gay. These two are so oblivious to the fact that they're a couple. They could spend every moment of everyday together, sharing not only a room but a bed as well, spend countless nights just completely absorbed in each other's company, and still be completely surprised when people say they're a couple. It's not as if they don't love each other, far from it, it's just that spending time together is practically second nature. They're both constantly making time in their day to see each other without even realizing it. I can honestly see Keaton waking up in the middle of the night and asking Kaze (they share a bed), "Hey are we dating?" and then Kaze replies, "hm… I think so, yes." and going back to sleep.

Many people think of Kaze like a black horse, mysterious and ominous yet sensitive and beautiful, but Keaton sees him more like a barn cat, presenting as courageous and independent when he's just really shy and doesn't want to be an issue. Like Keaton, people often come to Kaze when they need help; but honestly, Kaze secretly wishes that people would stop asking him for help. Failure is Kaze's biggest fear, failing even the smallest task could cause Kaze to spiral rapidly. He puts so much pressure on himself to be perfect. No, not just perfect, more than perfect, perfect was never enough for him, perfect was never enough for his father either. For Keaton, everything is perfect because nothing is perfect; maybe that's why Kaze felt so at ease around him. Keaton always made Kaze feel like he was enough. Keaton reminded him that he had value outside of what he could do for others. Most importantly, Keaton reminded him that he was human, imperfect in every beautiful way.

Touch is their favorite way to communicate, they communicate so well it's like a second language. They know exactly what each touch means down to the fingertips. Even the slightest touch feels as though they hold the entire world in their hands. If one was feeling tired, all it would take is one little touch from the other to re-energize him in seconds flat. They both have that ONE spot that causes him to instantly melt into the other, and funnily enough it's the same spot for both of them; cupping the cheek right behind the ear. Being touched in this spot gives them both an immediate feeling of comfort and security. This feeling is more than doubled when they do it to each other, however this is only saved for when the two are alone, for it's far too powerful to be done in public.

Odin:

Two fake jocks "training" together we love to see it. If you saw them from a distance it would certainly LOOK like intense wizard-on-wolf combat, but really it's just Odin practicing his poses while Keaton looks for cool bugs/ pretends to dodge/ copy him. No matter how ridiculous Odin's poses are, Keaton would never make fun of him for it. Odin genuinely believes that his blood is cursed and that the only way to control it is with his dramatic poses and chants. It's gotten to a point where Odin worries that one day he'll lose control and hurt someone he cares about (namely Keaton but Leo and Niles as well), so he always "trains" super hard to ensure that doesn't happen. At first, Keaton thought he was joking, but after seeing how earnest Odin was in his beliefs, Keaton didn't know what to think. Everyone seems to think Odin is lying about his cursed blood, but something in Keaton's heart wants to believe Odin. It pains Keaton to see the man he loves so dearly stressing over a curse that no one thinks is real. For now, he'll remain patiently by Odin's side, and he plans to stay by his side, curse or not, until death does them part.

Their night time routine is, fittingly, rather odd. The two are complete opposites when it comes to sleep schedules, with Keaton being the night owl and Odin the very early early bird. Their nights typically go like this: Odin will go to bed at a reasonable time like midnight, then Keaton will go outside to hunt or find treasures until he gets bored (usually around 3 in the morning) and crawl into bed with Odin. When they sleep together, the two of them are like cuddle magnets, able to join together perfectly even when they're practically comatose. Keaton especially is very committed to his cuddling. Waking up much earlier than his lover, Odin literally has to pry himself free from Keaton's embrace. Odin has two options every morning when he wakes up: either try to escape his adorable, furry, prison or wait for Keaton to wake up himself, which could honestly take up anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours. Although Odin is the type of guy who wants to start his day as soon as he wakes up, he also adores the sleepy embrace of his lover. The warmth of his touch, his soft snoring, the way he tightens his grip when Odin tries to get up, these all come together to form a net of guilt and touch-starvation that makes it hard for Odin to leave. However, trying to break free comes with its own risks too; if Keaton feels Odin trying to escape, he'll playfully pin Odin to the bed and shower him with sleepy kisses. Odin tries to push Keaton away, both incapable of holding in their laughter. Eventually, Odin triumphs over the tired wolfskin, though a part of him wishes that they could just spend the entire day in each other's arms.

Ever curious, it doesn't take long for Keaton to notice The Mark of the Exalt. Odin briefly considered lying and saying it was just a birthmark, that wasn't a total lie after all. But it was too late, he was certain Keaton noticed him flinch at the mention of the mark. Dropping the theatrics, Odin grabbed Keaton's hands and told him everything. The forgotten future and the abandoned past, the nation of Ylisse and the war against Plegia, his mother the "Exalt" and his uncle the leader of the Shepherds. When Keaton asks him why he left Ylisse and became "Odin Dark", Odin says he doesn't know. He knows that he needs to fight for Nohr and he knows that becoming "Odin Dark" was essential if he wanted to survive, but he couldn't remember why. He also tells Keaton that someday he'll have to leave Nohr and everyone behind. The thought of having to leave Keaton causes Odin to cry; every second he spent with Keaton filled Odin's with a joy that no words could describe. As Odin's first tear leaves his eye, Keaton clutches his hands even harder, tearfully promising to never leave Odin. If Odin were to leave Nohr, this would leave Keaton with an impossible decision. Should he stay with his pack in Nohr, or jump into an unknown future with the love of his life? But Keaton wasn't worried about that now, the only thing he cared about was stopping Odin's tears. If and when the time came for Odin to leave, one thing was for certain. Some way, somehow, the two of them would never drift apart. Even if they had to rearrange every star in the sky, there was no way they would ever abandon each other.

Niles:

Yall know that "All or Nothing" kickstarter that never happened? If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm basically saying its a one pessimist and one optimist relationship. Keaton sees what can be fixed while Niles sees what's already broken. Conversations between the two are certainly very interesting. Anytime Niles says anything, no one can ever tell if he's joking or not, which is exactly what Niles wants. If no one knows how he feels, how could he? Niles regularly jokes about dying or wanting to die, usually receiving chuckles from his more cynical comrades. Keaton isn't as dumb as he looks, he can tell that Niles wasn't actually joking. If Keaton ever confronted him about this then he would just dodge the question, it helped that Keaton was so easily distracted. It wasn't that Niles didn't trust Keaton, quite the opposite actually. It was because he loved Keaton so much that he didn't want to get too close. Niles was Icarus and Keaton the sun; he was radiant and beautiful, yet Niles feared what would happen if he got too close. Even if they weren't fighting this war, Niles was never confident he'd make it to tomorrow. Niles always felt as though the real war was in his mind, and this war wasn't one with a victor. Keaton never pressed Niles for details, but he promised he'd always be there for Niles rain or shine. Niles would never admit this, but his love for Keaton is what kept him going. After all, the sun always rises tomorrow.

Teasing Keaton is Niles' favorite game. We all know that it doesn't take much to make Keaton blush, which is why Niles loves making him blush so much. From saucy smirks to heart melting winks, Niles gets a sick joy out of turning Keaton into a blushing mess. Niles' favorite part is seeing Keaton trying to deny the fact that he's blushing. Between his obviously flustered tone and a tail that wags at 90 mph, it's not hard to tell what Keaton's feeling. Niles is so good at making Keaton blush that he's always so surprised when Keaton returns the favor. It's always unintentional; it's always something that no one else would ever notice. It's in the way Keaton shares his food, it's how he walks just a bit faster when he sees Niles across the grounds. Keaton's very existence is enough to flood Niles' tiny little charcoal heart with emotion, causing him to blush harder than Keaton ever could.

Showering each other with kisses doesn't even begin to describe it, it's more like a hurricane of kisses. The two of them are constantly kissing each other; cheek, lips, forehead, hand, any visible skin is viable to be planted in a million kisses at any given moment. They're both naturally inclined to giving their lovers an excessive amount of kisses, but Niles also loves to annoy people by kissing Keaton. By people, I specifically mean Leo. If Leo is in the same room as these two, Niles will make a huge production out of kissing Keaton. This production includes moaning, gross sucking noises, maybe a love bite or two if Niles is in the mood, nothing is off limits when it comes to pissing off Leo. Keaton occasionally plays along with Niles in these moments, but that's kind of just how Niles acts even when Leo isn't around, so he can never really tell if Niles is acting or not.

Leo:

As weird as it may sound, having Keaton around helps Leo study magic. Although Keaton doesn't study… anything and to anyone else he'd probably be a distraction, Leo feels as though he's able to remember what he studied better when Keaton's around. Keaton tries to be quiet and respectful when Leo is studying, but sitting quietly isn't exactly his idea of fun. He'll usually go off on his own, not too far or Leo will get mad, and find something to do. This something is almost always unintentionally loud and/or messy, it is Keaton we're talking about. However, no matter how loud and/or messy Keaton is, Leo barely notices what he's doing until someone else points it out. Occasionally Keaton will feel guilty about causing a disturbance and leave, but after he leaves Leo finds it impossible to focus and ends up leaving soon after. Leo has absolutely no explanation for why this is; maybe it's the same philosophy as people listening to music when they study? Regardless of its effectiveness, Leo is always happy to have Keaton around.

Many people are quick to compliment Leo on his intelligence, so many people that he doesn't believe them. In fact, Leo finds it hard to believe anyone anymore. That is of course, anyone other than Keaton. Keaton is just so genuine in everything he does, Leo would believe absolutely anything he said 100%. When people tell Leo that he's genius, he'll say thank you and go about his business. But when Keaton tells him that he's a genius, it always feels like the first time he's been complimented in his life. It's not as though Keaton is scarce with his compliments, far from it actually. Keaton is constantly showering Leo in compliments and affection, constantly impressed by everything that Leo does. Everyone always tells Leo how smart and resourceful he is, much to his disbelief. But when Keaton says it, he knows that it's true.

Although Leo appears to be dignified as his lineage would suggest, living with him makes Keaton look clean in comparison. Between Leo's spell books and parchments all over the floor and Keaton's "treasures" taking up any additional space, their room must look like a dump to anyone else. However, Keaton at least has a method to his madness, everything is either in piles or shoved on shelves. With Leo, calling him disorganized would be an understatement; he gets so focused on his studies that when one book leaves his hand, another one isn't too far behind. He remembers what he read in the book but never where he puts the book. Keaton regularly reminds Leo to eat, bathe, and even sleep. Leo is always surprised how quickly time passes when. At first, Keaton thought this behavior was kind of cute, but as it kept happening he began to worry for Leo's health. He wasn't exactly qualified to talk about a regular sleep schedule or a balanced diet, but he knows that Leo isn't there either. Most importantly, Keaton just wanted Leo to see that he was valued beyond his brain. He wanted Leo to love himself the same way that Keaton loved him.

Selena

Everything, and I mean everything, is a competition between these two. Chores, walking, bathing, even breathing that one time, these two always find a way to compete. Anyone lucky (or unlucky depending how you look at it) enough to watch them compete is in for a show. It always starts innocently enough, a cheeky insult here and a raspberry there, but then shit turns real when it looks like one of them could win. Let's just say that when Selena and Keaton start to ACTUALLY compete it makes the battlefield look tame in comparison. Threats, violence, and a little rough housing are allowed, and even encouraged in some circumstances. However, no matter what happens, the loser always gets a cocky little peck on the cheek from the winner, usually followed by "I win". Although they're both super competitive, it literally is all fun and games for them. On two separate occasions, both Keaton and Selena picked up a nearby horse and threw it. Both horses were okay, but both events caused the two to drop everything and just start making out. Specifically when Selena threw the horse, that really turned Keaton on, because she can't even turn into a giant wolf monster and yet she was able to pick up a horse and chuck it a good distance. Competition is their love language, and boy are they fluent in it.

PDA is an uphill battle for these two. It's not that they're against PDA, far from it in fact. They both want to tell the world that they're in love but the thought of holding hands on purpose causes them both to blush. Like I said previously, they're fine with kisses as rewards for competitions, but anything outside of that leads to them freaking out. It's pretty common to see them barely touching at the fingertips and blushing like middle schoolers. However, someone has to break the tension eventually. Keaton is usually the one who breaks the ice first, however Selena has made the first move once or twice. On the rare occasion that she makes the first move, she would awkwardly grab Keaton's face and plant a sloppy kiss on his lips. After releasing him from the kiss, she would usually run away from Keaton, blushing as if every drop of blood was concentrated in her face. Keaton follows her immediately, finding whatever structure she decided to hide behind, and waiting by her side until she's ready to come out again.

As we all know, Selena hates losing. While she was never too upset when she lost to Keaton, there was one game she couldn't afford to lose. Even though this game was meant for two people, Selena never invited Keaton to play. No, the only person Selena played this game with was… Severa. Although Selena and Severa were still the same person, Selena did everything in her power to hide her. The rules of this game were simple; Severa wanted to tell everyone, Keaton specifically, the truth while Selena fought to keep her past hidden. However, as we all know, Severa hates losing. Severa was like an annoying little sister to Selena, always wanting to play and never resting. Selena never had a moment to herself. Severa was always one step behind her, always at the foot of her bed, always rushing past the corner of her eye. The worst part? Selena knew she would lose one day. Keaton would have to meet Severa eventually. Selena wasn't worried about Keaton leaving her or anything, but what she was worried about the consequences of everyone meeting Severa. Until then, Selena would Keaton just a little bit tighter each night.

Beruka

Much to everyone in the entire Nohrian army's surprise, these two fell in love. Yes, Keaton "I don't just wear my heart on my sleeve, I wear my heart as an outfit," and Beruka "Why is this Wolfskin bastard so good at expressing his emotions I'm going to beat his face in with a rock and then burn him alive," a couple. When Beruka first met Keaton, Camilla and Serena had to physically restrain her to stop her from trying to kill Keaton. As punishment for nearly killing him, Camilla sentenced Beruka to stay by Keaton's side in the med-tent and do everything in her power to help him recover. Obviously, neither Beruka nor Keaton were particularly pleased with this arrangement. The two of them spent the entire first day arguing, ready to jump at each other's throats at the drop of a hat. However, after a… rocky… start, the two slowly learned more about each other as time went on. However, it wasn't just enemies to lovers; it was more enemies to strangers to acquaintances to enemies again to frenemies to rivals to kind of friends to lovers.

The two hold great respect for each other's abilities, on and off the battlefield. Although she isn't directly involved in the planning portion of the war, Beruka's history as an assassin certainly comes in handy when left to her own devices. On several occasions, Beruka has devised battle plans so cut-throat and brutal that many were too afraid to even attempt them; Keaton is not one of these people. No matter what Beruka has planned, Keaton always goes along with it because he can all but guarantee that the plan will work. His trust in his girlfriend combined with his raw physical strength turn Keaton into an unstoppable beast, literally and figuratively. Of course, Beruka would never let Keaton fight alone. When these two fight together, calling it a blood bath is an understatement.

Beruka has only cried three times in her life, each time more severe than the last. The first, when her parents abandoned her. The second, when Camilla agreed to take her on as a retainer. The third, and most severe, was on her birthday. Not being one for social gatherings, the party was small, and the only guests were Camilla, Selena, Corrin, and of course Keaton. As for Keaton's gift to Beruka, he saved up every coin and gemstone he could find to buy her this beautiful axe made of "100% pure diamonds," or at least that's what the shopkeeper said. Not wanting to spoil the surprise, Keaton hid the axe, and waited to give it to Beruka until after she had received everyone else's gifts. When he pulled the axe out of hiding and started to walk towards the guests, everyone (Beruka included) gasped at the sight of it. However, in his excitement, Keaton tripped and dropped the axe; when the axe hit the ground, it shattered into hundreds of little pieces, he was scammed. When the axe broke, everyone was absolutely heart broken. Everyone, it seemed, except Beruka. The gift was incredibly beautiful and thoughtful, and by the looks of it probably very expensive too, so why wasn't she sad? The fact that she wasn't sad was more upsetting to her than the axe breaking, and that just made her even more upset and very confused. The party ended and everyone returned to their quarters. The second that Keaton took his off Beruka, she began to cry. It started small at first, a sniffle and some tears slowly rolling down her cheek. However, this peaceful crying didn't last long. She soon turned into an absolute mess, sobbing uncontrollably and wailing incherently. It was though she was experiencing everything terrible thing that has ever happened to her all over again. Every innocent life she's taken, everyone's who betrayed her, every accident, every bruise, every slip, every slash, everything. But what she cried most about was… herself. She was afraid of herself, she saw herself as a terrible monster, killing innocent people as if it was something she did every day and not once feeling remorse or sympathy or guilt or… anything. Having exactly no idea how to handle this situation, Keaton did the only thing he could. He wrapped his arms around her as tight as he could and reassured her that everything was ok, that she wasn't an unfeeling monster. She must have cried for at least four hours straight, and Keaton stayed by her side the entire time.

Camilla:

Keaton certainly stands out from the rest of the army. However, the first thing Camilla noticed about Keaton wasn't his looks, it was his stench. In addition to being a wolf man that lives in the woods and collects garbage, Keaton is also a 26 year old bachelor, i.e. this bitch STINKS. Camilla had to drag him kicking and screaming to the hot springs for a bath, which was actually easier than it sounds. Once Camilla brought her hostage to the spring, she was more than happy to scrub the dirt and grime off of him. Although Keaton acted like he hated it, not once did he try to leave the spring. Ever since Camilla power washed him, bathing together has become routine. It's a chance for them to relax together, a chance to talk about anything and everything while intimately washing each other's backs. They value this opportunity to be so vulnerable around one another more than words can even say.

Finally, someone Camilla can shower with all the love and affection she never got. Camilla took the role of a mother figure for her family, caring for her family and smothering them with love. This motherly instinct gets turned to an 11 after falling in love with Keaton. Kisses, hugs, compliments, she'll show her affection towards Keaton any time she can in every way she can. In typical Keaton fashion, he acts like he only tolerates her PDA when he very obviously loves it. The very visible blushing, his defeated look when she stops, and of course his tail wagging like a propellor, he'll even do that thing with his leg that dogs do if Camilla gets the right spot. Like two pieces of a puzzle, it's a sight to behold when these two are showing affection.

As a noble lady, Camilla doesn't particularly care for bugs and bones and moldy things, i.e anything Keaton considers a treasure. To be honest, his treasures were almost a deal breaker for her. She wasn't usually one to judge, but surrounding yourself with dead animals and garbage is a bit questionable to say the least. One their first date, Keaton showed her a giant, hairy spider living in an old boot. Like any normal person, her immediate reaction was to slap the boot out of his hand and stumble backwards. Luckily (for Keaton at least), both the spider and the boot were unharmed. Keaton wasn't mad at Camilla, he expected as much, although a part of him still wished he was wrong. Feeling a bit guilty, Camilla spent the rest of the date listening to Keaton talk about how much he loved his "pet" spider. Keaton went on and on about his spider, tail wagging at a million miles an hour the entire time, and Camilla listened to every word. While she still didn't care for bugs and bones and moldy things, Keaton's enthusiasm was infectious.

Peri:

Crying, my god do these bitches cry a lot. Peri already cries like three times a day, combine that with a very sensitive wolfskin and you have a ticking time bomb of sadness. Whenever one of them (usually Peri) starts crying, the other one starts to cry as well. It doesn't take much to get these two to cry, and by cry I mean Keaton could get a little teary-eyed while Peri… well let's just say it's not pretty. Crying is easier when you do it together, especially when you do it with someone you care about. Both of them excel at reading the other's body language and determining if they need cheering up or just need to let it all out. Their crying sessions don't last all that long, usually ending with one of them finding a butterfly and forgetting what they were upset about, but it's always nice to have a shoulder to cry on.

As a surprisingly amazing chef, Peri loves to cook for Keaton. Keaton will eat pretty much anything, even things that any sane person wouldn't, which makes him the perfect culinary guinea pig. Of course, everything Peri makes is absolutely fantastic, even to people with more… refined taste buds. She loves watching Keaton happily scarf down anything she cooks for him. Keaton always sends his compliments to the chef, and when he sends compliments he sends them in spades. Be warned though, eating with them is like eating at the kids' table on thanksgiving.

It's no secret that these two aren't afraid of a little bloodshed. In fact, these two (one definitely more so than the other hint hint it's Peri) take pride in their ability to uh… kill people. However, their reasons for killing are entirely different; Keaton only kills poachers and other people who try to kill him or his friends and family, while Peri kills people for fun. This has caused them to get into several arguments, usually in public and loud enough for the entire camp to hear. One argument led to Peri mentioning how her mother was killed before running off in tears. It didn't take long for Keaton to find her, of course they were both still mad and a little petty but something was clearly eating at her. The two of them sat in silence for what seemed like forever, an impressive feat for either of them. It took awhile, but Peri eventually opened up about everything. Her mother's murder, her paranoia, her loneliness, her father's apathy, everything. After she was done, all Keaton could do was hold her as tight as he possibly could.

Also this is just like a side note or whatever but Fates did Peri DIRTY! It is 100% important to know that her mother was killed by a servant, traumatizing Peri and causing her to kill servants out of paranoia but the only support log that mentions this is Laslow's. All of her other supports are just her refusing to stop killing people for no reason AND EVERYONE JUSTS ACCEPTS THAT'S JUST WHO PERI IS? EVEN THE PEOPLE WITH A STRICT NO KILLING POLICY? She literally taught herself to cook because she was so afraid of being poisoned.

Laslow (or Inigo because that's a way cooler name than LASLOW):

Like Azura, dancing is a common activity for these two. However, dancing with Azura was more like a scene from Titanic, while dancing with Laslow is more like a scene from Weekend at Bernie's. It's not that Laslow is a bad dancer, far from it, he simply lacks the confidence in his abilities to teach. He already turns into a blushing mess whenever anyone watches him dance, let alone the most important person in his life. Keaton tries to be a good student, but a short attention span and two left feet leave a lot to be desired. Usually one of them (I know you're probably thinking it's mostly Keaton but It's Not) ends up tripping on the other, causing both of them to fall on top of each other. This causes Laslow to blush like a motherfucker and even faint on a few occasions. Still, if Laslow can get out of his own head, then these two will have a great time dancing.

Flirting with Keaton is like flirting with a brick wall. Actually, you're more likely to get a reaction from the brick wall. And this is especially frustrating when Laslow's love language consists of flirting and flirting a lot. Obviously, Keaton loves praise, but any type of suggestiveness or implication is completely lost on him. Whoever it was, Lalow was determined to make his significant other feel like the only person in the world, which is kinda hard to do when all his flirting soars over Keaton's head. Thank goodness Keaton made the first move, otherwise these idiots would be in a limbo of eternal flirting. Dating someone who's immune to flirting has proved an interesting challenge to Laslow; being direct wasn't exactly his style. Still, if blunt force affection was the only way to get Keaton's attention, then blunt force affection is what Laslow would produce.

Like I said previously, being direct was never Laslow's style. Like a magician, he built his identity on tricks and facades, never spoiling the performance. He was charismatic, confident, always positive, and able to win the heart of anyone he set his eyes on; or at least, that's what everyone believed. He was never truly himself, not even to the people who knew him the longest. Even before winding up in Nohr, the truth was a secret he always hurried to cover. But why? Was there something wrong with being a gifted dancer? Was there something wrong with feeling sad? Was there something wrong with feeling sad all the time, no matter what? Was there something wrong with Inigo? This last question hung over "Laslow's" head like smog. Was there something wrong with him? Everyone saw him in such a positive light, but how did he see himself? While Laslow could never be direct, not with himself or anyone else, being direct was the only way Keaton did anything. Keaton confronted every problem in his life with all the subtlety of a steam train, and Laslow envied him for his frankness. Stupid Wolfskin asshole, able to say what he feels. Talking about who Inigo was wasn't going to be as covert as he had hoped. So naturally, the only way that Laslow was going to address this rather large elephant in the room was to just go out and say it. With all the tact of a steam train, Laslow explained everything to Keaton. Did Keaton understand a word of what Laslow was saying? Hell no, but he was still supportive of Laslow/Inigo; it clearly took him a lot of strength to sit down and explain this to Keaton.

Xander

There have been some pretty odd matches on this list, but this by far has to be the most surprising match in the army. Literally no one, absolutely no one, not a single soul dead or alive would have ever seen these two as an item. Gossip naturally spread like wildfire, the crown prince of Nohr and the leader of the Wolfskin, two important yet vastly different leaders. Anything the two hear through the grapevine is sure to be wildly inaccurate but terribly cruel nonetheless; oh well, nothing either hasn't seen before. This relationship is sure to have very serious consequences to Nohr's socio political landscape, but I lack the vocabulary and expertise to explain what those consequences are. Besides, it's a fake kingdom that only exists when you turn on your 3ds, who gives a shit? What was I talking about? Oh yeah gossip… The two of them are confident in their love for each other, no matter what anyone says. Neither one of them ever gave much thought to others' opinion of them, so why start now?

Therapy? Expensive, and also probably doesn't exist yet. Funny dog man who loves you unconditionally? Not expensive. Being the crown prince/king of Nohr can't be easy, especially after everything Xander went through to earn this position. From balancing all the broken relationships Nohr left in it's conquest, the endless council meetings, and still trying to maintain a good relationship with his subjects, it's safe to say that Xander has quite a lot on his plate. That's why the rare moments he has alone with Keaton are always the favorite part of his day. Just seeing Keaton smile is enough to melt away all of Xander's troubles in seconds. Doesn't matter where or for how long, just the slightest glimpse of his husband instantly reminds Xander that everything will be ok. Carrying Keaton around the castle while taking care of his royal duties is a common thought that crosses the prince's mind, no matter how many times he tells himself what a terrible idea that is.

A popular nickname for these two is "The couple that never sleeps," although it isn't 100% accurate. Of course both of them sleep, albeit unconventionally. Wolfs (and wolfskin too I guess) don't have regular sleep patterns, so no one ever really knows when and how long Keaton sleeps. As for Xander, the mere thought of him ever relaxing is the funniest thing anyone could think of. However, just because both of them sleep, remember that I said that "The couple that never sleeps," wasn't 100% accurate, not totally wrong. See, Xander is a bit of an insomniac, and can only fall asleep when he has his "teddy bear." However, said "teddy bear" has a tendency to get lost, and by tendency I mean it happens every night. When his "teddy bear" eventually makes it back to his room, Xander holds him tight and doesn't let go until morning. Even though his "teddy bear" smells terrible, is covered in dirt and bugs all the time, snores, drools, and has a tail that tickles the prince's stomach in the middle of the night, Xander couldn't imagine a night without him

Charlotte:

Just like your favorite crappy YA Rom-Com! The girl, completely obsessed with the most popular boys in school, realizes she had feelings for the weird boy next door the entire time. The weird boy helps the girl with her incredibly contrived plans to get boys to notice her not only because he's been her friend forever (which I guess doesn't really apply to Charlotte and Keaton…) but also because he has a crush on her! Then they have an argument in the rain, the girl gets stood up or something, there's a food fight for some reason, and then the girl and the weird boy kiss! Replace most popular boys with rich men and you basically have their dynamic. Ever the people pleaser, Keaton agreed to help Charlotte with a few of her schemes to woo some eligible(i.e wealthy) suitors. Of course, none of them worked, but out of everyone in the army, Keaton was the last person Charlotte saw herself with. I mean, it's not like he was kind and funny and caring and protective and strong and handsome and a good listener and cheerful and gave her (weird) gifts and a good hugger and friendly or anything right? … Right?

Mess with the furry, you get the fury! If anyone or anything laid a hand on Keaton's beautiful disgusting faux-hawk mullet, Charlotte would make them regret it instantly. All it takes is a single crease of an eyebrow, a single scratch, a single ounce of discomfort for her lover and Charlotte will go berserk. Friend or foe, hell hath no fury like an angry Charlotte. Luckily no one in the army dislikes Keaton, so they're spared from Charlotte's wrath. Their enemies however… Being a Wolfskin, Keaton can't really understand just how fucking SCARY Charlotte gets when she's trying to protect him. In fact, he absolutely loves seeing her let loose and go absolutely feral. When Charlotte gets serious, Keaton will frequently shout compliments her way, causing her to briefly drop her guard before going back to fight with a ferocity that surpasses the gods. One time, Charlotte ripped someone's eye out with her teeth and Keaton had to smack himself to not rush over and marry her immediately.

This might come as a surprise, but Charlotte gets along fantastically well with Keaton's wolf pack. The pack accidentally crossed paths with the army and Keaton thought it would be a good idea to introduce everyone. Despite his good intentions, the mood was incredibly tense; the Wolfskin were naturally distrustful of all humans, especially ones with a lot of sharp objects, and any normal person wouldn't feel the safest around a pack of wolves. As the girlfriend of the pack's chief, needless to say Charlotte had quite a few eyes on her. Her first approach was to try and be a bubbly and sweet girl who got along with everyone, but this facade really only worked on the youngest members of the pack. As this impromptu meet and greet went on, Charlotte's facade gradually faded away until all that was left was the nasty bitch with a sharp tongue and a short temper that we all know and love. Finally seeing her true colors, the pack felt a bit more at ease, knowing that their chief found someone to balance out his naivety. Of course the pack held a lot of respect for Keaton, but even they had to admit that he wasn't the best at making serious decisions. With Charlotte however, the pack saw great potential in their cooperation and felt confident with her as second in command.

Benny:

Between Benny adopting every woodland creature you can imagine and Keaton naturally bringing dirt wherever he goes, their room/tent is basically a forest at this point. Turning your room/tent in to the sequel of Noah's ark is a bit difficult when your roommate/boyfriend is wolfskin that tends to eat the creatures you bring in, but after Keaton saw the pure horror in Benny's eyes after trying to snack on one of his rabbits, the wolfskin immediately decided these animals were not for eating. Yes, Benny named all of the animals, and no, Keaton can't remember any of them. Eventually it gets to a point where Keaton tells Benny that he has to send the animals back into the wilderness, to which Benny replies that all of the animals just sort of followed him and he doesn't really know how to get them to leave. Keaton was impressed, his boyfriend had to be the only person he knew that was so peaceful and gentle that wild animals naturally followed him around. Wait… is that why Keaton fell in love with him?

While Keaton wasn't the best at making decisions, he had two other qualities that made him a natural leader: charisma and decisiveness. Two qualities that Benny severely lacked. Despite being at least 1 foot taller and 100 pounds heavier, Benny still needs Keaton to stand up for him every so often. Benny often wondered what someone as confident as Keaton could ever see in a guy like him. Sometimes when he was alone, Benny would act like Keaton while staring in a mirror to work on his confidence. He had to admit, this was pretty ridiculous, but hey it worked kinda. I mean, he was still the least assertive person in the army but now he could raise his voice slighter louder than before! One time Keaton caught Benny… practicing, which resulted in both parties blushing like never before. Benny was blushing out of embarrassment, of course, while Keaton was blushing because he was insanely flattered that Benny thought about him like that (but also maybe a bit of second hand embarrassment). After that, Keaton agreed to give Benny some actual lessons in confidence. It… went about as well as you would expect, but hey baby steps right?

While Benny loved his boyfriend, sometimes he felt like Keaton's recklessness would be the death of both of them. Benny's heart would practically stop whenever he saw Keaton run off on his own, which happened fairly often. In addition to his devil may care attitude about rules, Keaton's abysmal sense of direction only amplified Benny's anxiety. It's not that Benny doesn't trust Keaton in a fight, the Wolfskin man could easily defeat a fleet of soldiers in seconds flat, it's just that Keaton was prone to jumping into things without a plan. This was a stark contrast from Benny, who regularly trapped himself in his own mind thinking about everything that could go wrong. Perhaps this is why they worked so well together, but this didn't soothe Benny's nerves when the two weren't paired together. One time, Keaton ran off and got severely injured by a fleet of mages. He was barely able to defeat all of them before passing out in the grass, heavily injured and desperately clinging to life. Benny found him and carried him to the medical tent with the strength and speed of a charging bull. When Keaton woke up, Benny held onto him and cried for at least 24 hours. It almost killed Keaton (twice in one day huh) to see Benny like this. Don't tell him I said this but maybe, just maybe, Keaton would TRY to follow the rules, for Benny's sake.

And that's it! I finally finished this! Took me like, 6 months? Maybe? Idk this hasn't cured my Keaton brain rot at all BUT LOOK AT ME I FINISHED SOMETHING! LMK what yall thought! Who knows maybe I'll make more? Sorry if your fave is outta character but I'm not changing this sowwy. Follow my twitter OreganoTheOnly love yall thanks for reading! 3 3 3
