Rachel was walking down the school hallways ever ready for the glee club she walks into the room where she sees Finn. There was once upon a time she thought was attracted to him but, it turns out she was not attracted to him when they shared the kiss in the auditorium. When he kissed her there was only one person she thought about during the kiss, and that person was none other than Quinn Fabray. See, over the summer Rachel figured out she was attracted to girls. But what she didn't know was if she was attracted to boys and girls or just girls. She did know one thing for sure when it came to her attraction to boys was that there were none she really was attracted to. well, maybe Finn or maybe she liked the idea of him and that he could be a good male lead in the glee club. She wasn't sure she couldn't deny the guy was cute but there wasn't much else. But she did know for sure was that she definitely liked and was attracted to Quinn. But Rachel knew there was a problem it was called Quinn and Finn are in a relationship. While Rachel was in her own thoughts she didn't notice Finn walking up to her.
" Hey, Rachel how are you?" Finn asked.
" I'm fine Finn thank you for asking. He kept looking at her shifting his feet back in forth wringing his hands nervously.
" What's the matter, Finn something wrong?" Rachel asked.
" Quinn's pregnant," Finn replied. Rachel's eyes widened, she wanted Quinn as her girlfriend. But Finn was her friend and she was not going to steal his girlfriend. Especially now that she was pregnant with his baby. In her mind that would only bring Finn and Quinn closer together. Finn was looking at her for her reaction and was getting nervous when she didn't speak. finally, she looked up and him and replied.
" Oh wow okay well, that's quite a surprise, what are you and Quinn going to do with it? are you going to keep it or put it up for adoption?" Rachel asked.
" I don't know Quinn and I haven't talked about it yet," Finn answered. Both Rachel and Finn didn't see the hidden figure of Quinn in the doorway of the choir room, she was mad as hell at Finn. He was not supposed to tell anyone especially Rachel. She knew Rachel liked her and she felt the same way about her, so she never let Rachel know she knew her feelings for her. One being her family was very religious especially her father, she would definitely be kicked out if he found out about the baby. Not only that but her father hated gays and was extremely homophobic, so if he knew that she was pregnant and likes a girl he would not only kick her out but he would tell or yell at her about how she was going against God and his word, then after having the baby he would probably try to put her in a camp to turn people straight. Quinn knew if that were the case it would not work. Quinn decided to make herself known by walking into the choir room.
" Hey, Finn Rachel." Rachel was stunned that Quinn had called her by her first name, Quinn noticed this and smirked and winked at her witch went unnoticed by Finn.
" Hey, babe me and Rachel were just talking," Finn replied and smiled that dopey smile he does. Quinn noticed this and rolled her eyes, after dating Finn for a while now she noticed a lot of things about him. Like for instance, he smiles that dopey smile when he is trying to be friendly or charming. But, he also uses it to try and get out of trouble when he does something wrong.
" I can see that you and Rachel are talking Finn, but now we need to talk. Would you excuse us, Rachel?" Rachel nodded as Quinn gave her a grateful smile. She took Finn to the side where they couldn't be overheard. " What were you thinking Finn telling Rachel about the pregnancy?" Quinn asked in a furious quiet tone. Finn looked at her confused.
" I didn't think it is such a big deal, I just needed someone to talk to and Rachel is my friend, and she was right here. Plus she won't tell anyone Quinn. Finn replied trying to sound reassuring. Quinn let out a huff of annoyance at her boyfriend.
" That's not the point Finn, the point is you didn't confide in me and ask me if you can tell anyone. What if someone overheard you two? did you think of that? " Quinn asked. Finn was looking at her nervously.
" I know I should have talked to you about it Quinn I know, but no one heard us I promise. I just needed someone to talk to about this, I mean I'm going to be a father in nine months that's huge. Finn replied. Quinn then gave a death glare to him.
" Oh, and it's easier for me. I'm the one who's pregnant at sixteen Finn, I'm the one who is going to be carrying a baby for nine months." Quinn said in a hush angry tone. Finn was about to reply when Quinn spoke again. " No, Finn do you know what's going to happen when my parents find out, My very religious parents. My father will flip if I'm lucky he'll support me through his love for me as his daughter." Finn nodded and replied.
" Don't worry Quinn I'm here for you I will always be here for you. Quinn sighed and leaned more into Finn soaking up the comfort he was giving. It made her happy and sad at the same time. It made her happy because she knew Finn loved her and wanted to support her and the baby, but sad. After all, she knew they weren't ready to be a mother and father to a little life. She also felt sad because despite how much she liked him she had feelings stronger for someone else a one Rachel berry to be in fact. Quinn sighed again and went to sit down in one of the seats in the choir room. Finn watched his girlfriend feeling really bad for her. Finn followed after Quinn and sat in a chair next to her's he then put his arm around her shoulders to show his support. Rachel watching the scene from across the room.
Meanwhile, Noah puckerman came into the room followed by Santana and Brittany. Puck felt bad for Quinn because of the pregnancy he knew it was his fault he didn't use protection that night. No one knew it but Puck had feelings for Quinn, he knew he couldn't have her due to her being with Finn. And to add to that, Finn was his friend. He knew he and Quinn had a lot to talk about, but how he was going to get her to talk to him he did not know. He then proceeded to sit in a chair close to her but not too close to make her uncomfortable. He watched his ex-girlfriend Santana Lopez walk to a couple of chairs with her friend Brittany with the pinkies locked. Rachel watched Puck from across the way, she saw he seemed sad so she took the opportunity to go over and talk to him while the choir director was not there.
" Hey, Noah why do you look so sad?" Rachel asked. Puck looked at her. Then he looked to Quinn, Rachel followed his line of sight. You like her don't you? he just nodded to her question.
Yes, I do, but she is with Finn and I can't do that to him. Rachel nodded in reply.
" I understand," Rachel answered. Puck thought she was talking about Finn, so he replied.
" You like him don't you?" he asked Rachel looked at him confused.
" Who are you talking about Noah?" Rachel asked.
" Finn You like Finn don't you?" he asked. She didn't want him to know it was really Quinn she likes, so she just nodded to his question. Truth be told she was far away from liking Finn in that way. She knew people in Lima can be extreme homophobes and closed-minded. So instead of telling him the truth, she decided to lie and say She liked Finn.
Puck then replied, " it doesn't matter if we like them, they are going to stay together. I don't stand a chance with Quinn and you don't stand a chance with Finn." Puck replied. Rachel was sad at his statement. But, she knew he was right as long as Quinn and Finn were together with the baby on the way not one of them stood a chance.
After glee was over Puck went over to talk to Quinn, when he finally caught up to her he replied.
" Hey, Quinn heard you were pregnant, who's the father?" Puck asked. Quinn just glared at him knowing what he was up to.
" You know who the father is Puck, it's Finn. You know my boyfriend Finn. Quinn replied.
" You know Quinn it's funny you say that, because I seem to remember when we had sex that night you told me you were a virgin. And Finn being my bro he would have told me if you and he have had sex. So it seems to me that Finn is not the father of this baby. I'm the father and you and I both know it." Puck replied. Quinn glared at him again and spoke quietly.
" Don't speak so loud, and so what do you make a habit of sleeping with your bro's girlfriends?" Quinn asked. Puck looked shocked at her question, but before he had time to reply Quinn spoke again. " Besides, even if you are the father of this baby I will go to the grave swearing it's Finn's. You are not to speak a word about this to anyone especially Finn. Even though you are the biological father, it's Finn that's going to be the father to this baby. And no one is going to know otherwise. I'm sorry Puck but that's the way it has to be. Quinn replied.
"' But why Quinn? why does it have to be that way? I can take care of you and the baby, I know my own dad was a deadbeat but I'm not him I will take care of you both I promise. Puck pleaded. Quinn looked into the jock's eyes and knew he was being sincere.
" I know you can Puck, but you got to remember we are just kids ourselves. We are not ready to be parents to a baby or child of any age, plus the fact remains is that Finn is still my boyfriend. So, if anyone should be a co-parent with me it's him. I'm sorry Puck but that's why it is and has to be. Quinn replied.
As Puck and Quinn finished talking the figure that was watching them started to make a plan to find out what their secret talk was about. As he appeared out of the shadows he proceeded to walk down the halls to his next class with a smirk painted upon his face.
