Prologue
Even after all the wars and bombings humanity still stands on a untable rocky cliff, they thrive even if there is no more markings of what city or state or even country they were in as they all merged into one. Religions and traditions fell so others shall rise out from the chaos and discord. A star, highest and brightest it's ever been, had mercy on the poor dying race and gave them companions and guides to help them on their long journey ahead.
We start our tale on a lady named Nala, or soon to be, as it is her day of bringing and the day she will get her animal guide. Her family's guides are all birds, big and small, all having talents and powers used for the safety of their partners and families. Each family has one unique to one member to the next, as it is how it goes. Once you split or join a new family you can get another guide to lay down the path for your new adventure. Her family and their guides gathered at Star's peak to rejoice and see her guide come into existence.
Nala, though scared, walked up the path, seeing all those she loved and cared for congratulate her and give her support. But those loving smiling faces will turn to frowns once they see who her guide is….
