Blast to the Past
"Hey Arnold, what's up?" asked Gerald Johanssen, the best friend of Arnold Shortman, who was PS.118's most moral student. Even in the Sixth Grade! Arnold turned and smiled to his best friend, "Not much. What about you, Gerald?" he replied. They were walking on 4040 Vine Street just talking about what's going on in their lives.
Gerald had many things going for him. Recently he had just gotten a B+ on his Math test, the highest he's gotten in months! He also had better relations with his siblings, as well as a new cute girlfriend. However he wasn't the only one.
Arnold also had a great life. He had his parents back from San Lorenzo, he had decent grades. He was doing alright.
"Oof!"
"Oof!"
Without looking where he was going, Arnold accidentally smashed his head in what was possibly his favourite thing on this earth at the moment; Helga G. Pataki.
His girlfriend.
"Watch where you're going, football head! Sheesh! You think he'd know by now, huh, Pheebs?" Helga said amusingly, with a mix of both anger and love. Phoebe, Gerald's girlfriend, giggled in response.
Arnold blushed, "S-sorry, Helga." he replied, gaining a smile from his love, "Eh, don't sweat it, Arnoldo. Now help me up, will ya?" Arnold went and grabbed her hand, but didn't let go.
He loved her so much.
However, in a different time, he didn't have the same view.
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
"Hey Arnold, what's up?" asked Gerald Johanssen, Arnold's best friend. It was Fourth Grade, and what a year it's been! So many adventures involving them, "Not much. What about you, Gerald?"
Gerald had better days. He failed last week's test, and his siblings were annoying him to death. He also felt depressed deep down due to his lack of success with the ladies, but he would never tell Arnold that.
Arnold was in the same playing field. His grades were far from good, and he had a nightmare about his parents the night prior. He also dreaded going to school.
"Oof!"
"Oof!"
Arnold looked up to see his personal tormentor; Helga G. Pataki. She looked up angrily, "Watch where you're going, Football head! I mean criminy, you think he'd know by now huh Pheebs?" She yelled, making Phoebe roll her eyes.
She was so annoying.
