Prologue
A few months have passed since dealing with Ultra Beasts in Alola as they were causing chaos once more, the result of that battle had caused Pikachu to evolve into Gorochu after absorbing the electric attacks from three Xurkitree
Since that day, Ash Ketchum sadly had to quit being a trainer after losing the motivation to keep going on his journey. Moving on with his life now by settling down in the Fiore region after getting married to his best friend , Solana, who had excitedly announced that she was pregnant with their first child.
"If only he could see this..." Ash sighed softly after kissing her, looking at the pokéball that was around his neck as it belonged to Gorochu, where the electric/dark mouse stayed inside and refused to come out as believed that the evolution caused him to be depressed and afraid since working so hard to gain strength without needing to evolve only to fail in the end
"Don't worry, I'm sure he would be so proud to see us together like this especially knowing that our child would always be playing games with him" Solana said reassuring him that everything will work out in the end, she even believed that they would go on a family journey together
