A dragon ball and Steven universe crossover, it's my first ever story so I hope you like it!

It was a normal Sunday morning, when the gem lapis lazuli was sleeping on a hammock in the barn. She didn't find peridot anywhere near the barn, so she assumed she was probably hanging out with Steven and the crystal gems. Lapis ignored that thought and went to sleep. Before she knew it, a bubble popped open, freeing a dangerous device lapis knew too well.

In a split second, lapis woke up to find herself not in her favourite hammock, her barn, or beach city at all. Lapis lazuli woke up to find herself in a deserted area, she felt very shocked and scared, but decided to pick herself up and get out of here. Last thing lapis remembered was when she closed hereyes for a split moment and then heard a loud bang. Lapis ignored all her thoughts and decided her main and only objective was gonna be to get out of this place and back to beach city.

Lapis summoned her wings and flew out in the air, lapis inhaled the fresh air that surrounded her and cracked a weak smile. It's been so long since she flew around freely like this; Lapis flew for hours straight until she finally decided to stop for a quick break, even knowing she doesn't need it. Lapis almost closed her eyes to sleep when suddenly she heard a loud bang, 'Why is it that whenever I wanna close my eyes something like this happens?' She thought to herself.

Lapis saw some smoke and flew to its direction, she then briefly saw a tall figure in front of her, she prepared herself for a battle. In a split second, that figure disappeared. Lapis was shocked, she looked around her but couldn't find it, "Looking for someone?" a deep voice said, lapis looked behind her to find a huge green person (or thing) that had a terrifying glare. 'What the hell is that?' Lapis thought to herself, lapis positioned herself in a fighting stance, so did the green being, but then it dawned on her, there is absolutely no water nearby, so she has no chance of victory.

She quickly unsummoned her wings and raised her hands up in the air. "Alright alright, you win" she said, "Hm that was odd, how pathetic of you to give up in a battle." The green man said, "Meh..I'm not a fighter anyways" lapis replied, "That's pretty strange, I don't sense your Ki, you're clearly not from this planet. What exactly are you?" the green person said. "I'm lapis lazuli, but you can call me Lapis, yes I'm not from earth. What's your name? I can tell you're not an earthling too" lapis replied boringly, "I'm piccolo, a Namekian." Piccolo stated confidently. "A what? I've never heard of that race before", "It's not a surprise, I don't think I've seen your race before, what are you again?". "I'd rather not say...I barely know you" lapis replied, piccolo nodded understandingly. "So can you show me the way out of this desert, and why are you here?" Lapis asked. "I come here to train every once in a while, but I live in the city, I'll show you the way. I'm assuming you can fly?" , lapis nodded. "Good" said piccolo and took off at such high speed lapis couldn't keep up with.

Lapis POV

After a few more hours of flying we finally reached the city, that guy named piccolo made us land next to a very large building, it had giant letters on it that read CAPSULE CORP. I felt quite nervous entering, and meeting new people, going through the same old thing again. "We're here, this is where my...friends live." Piccolo said. "Seems like they're celebrating something." We entered and then I saw a bunch of strange looking people. There was one who had three eyes instead of two, a flying talking cat, a talking walking pig with fingers, and many more strange features I couldn't believe. "Hey Mr piccolo!!!" a man with spiky black hair yelled. "Hello miss, who are you?" he asked me. "Umm, I'm lapis" I replied with a disinterested tone. "I was training at my usual place when I saw her there, she says she's not from this dimension, I didn't quite get it but it's clear she's not an earthling" piccolo stated. I was quite surprised how they talk about all this like it's no big deal.

"Hmph, I doubt she's telling the truth, she could be a spy or something" a very deep and arrogant voice said. I looked around for its source, and i saw a person with spiky hair and his forehead bigger than his face. "Uhh what? Are you just looking for trouble? Because I can give you some" I replied in his same arrogant tone. "What did you just say?! Go ahead" he yelled at me.

"Enough, I know she is telling the truth, but we can't trust anyone" piccolo stated sharply. "Speaking of which, where's goku?" "I'm here!!!" Replied a loud voice coming from a man wearing orange and blue with spiky black hair. "Hey new recruits!" He yelled pointing at me. "No, I'm lapis" I replied. "Lapis is an alien I found while training at the desert" piccolo said. "Whoa an alien??? You must be pretty strong, are you?" Goku asked with odd excitement in his tone. "Eh, depends on how you view strong" I replied in my same disinterested tone which seemed to bother them.

"So what are we gonna do?" asked the guy I learnt was named Gohan. "She can stay here as long as she does her share of work!" said a strong voice coming from a lady with light blue hair, she looked quite rich. "What do you think Vegeta?" asked that woman. "Hmph, I don't care, as long as she doesn't cause any problems." That vegetable replied. "Alright then its decided" that woman exclaimed. "Hey Goten let's do a crazy race to see who can eat more" a kid's voice screamed out, "Okay!" Another more childish voice replied. I looked around to see two kids, one with purple hair and the other with the same spiky black hair the person who calls himself 'Goku' has, I assumed he was his son.

"Hey who is that?" Asked the kid with pale violet hair, "She calls herself lapis, she's an alien we saw around, apparently she's not from this dimension and can't remember how she got here" said the woman with blue hair who I assumed was his mother. "Alien??? That must mean she's strong! Do you wanna train?" Said the other kid with spiky hair. "That's a pretty good idea!!!" Said Goku, "Show us what you're capable of!" I was a bit hesitant but I remembered that I do have water around me and I'm getting a bit rusty. "Hmm, alright, I don't see why not"
