Peter Parker was at the Stark Expo as a child, as the Hummer Robots attacked. However, what if it didn't go as it did?
No POV
It was a normal day for young Peter Parker, except for the fact he was at the Stark Expo.
Peter always wanted to meet Tony Stark, the man who he admired most, besides his Uncle Ben.
However, Peter wasn't prepared to have the Hummer Robots attack.
As they started to, Peter sat there in his Iron Man mask, scared. He didn't know what to do, especially since he saw Tony Stark, who was supposed to be dead, fighting. However, his thoughts where interrupted when a robot landed in front of him.
Peter, not knowing anything besides he wanted to be like his hero, held up his cardboard blaster.
Tony saw the encounter, and came flying to help that brave little kid. Yet, he was too late. The robot attacked, blasting Peter.
He didn't explode, but the bot quickly did.
Tony quickly landed beside the young boy, taking him into his arms.
"Hey, kid? You still with me?" Tony asked, joking.
"M-Mr. Tony S-Stark." Peter whispered, shocked.
"That's me, kid. Talk to me. What's your name?" Tony asked, trying to keep the kid awake.
"P-Peter, Peter Parker, s-sir." He said, and Tony smiled.
"Nice to meet you, Peter. Kid, stay awake." Tony said, seeing the boy close his eyes.
As Tony quietly asked JARVIS what happened to Peter, he started to close his eyes, young Peter desperate for sleep.
"Kid, no. Stay awake." Tony said, but Peter felt a tug down.
"Sir, it appears that Mr. Parker is dealing with severe internal bleeding." JARVIS said, and Peter smiled.
However, Tony couldn't share it. He knew Peter didn't have long, and he seemed so young.
"Hey, Pete, stay awake. Tell me about yourself, how old are you?" He asked, as Peter's eyes closed again.
He opened them, sluggishly.
"M-Mr. Stark, I-I don't feel so good." Peter said, as he felt pain radiate, before bliss. Peter felt free, no pain. He saw his parents, standing there, waiting for him.
"Mom, Dad!" Peter yelled, and he started walking with them.
However, that's not what Tony saw.
Tony saw Peter's eyes lose light. Where moments before he saw Peter's eyes shine, they were dull, done.
Tony felt defeat. He had a young child die in his arms, and it was his fault.
Another robot landed, and Tony removed his suit.
"Just do it." Tony begged, and the robot took mercy, shooting Tony.
Tony felt pain, then bliss. He had one last thing to say.
"JARVIS, tell Rhodey goodbye for me, one last time. And, bud, JAR, thank you." With that, and one last shattering breath, he was gone.
Peter jerked up in his bed, heart pounding. It took several moments for Peter to realize where he was.
The Avengers Compound.
Peter, needing to know it was just a dream, went searching for Mr. Stark, but FRIDAY stopped him, dead.
"Peter, I hate to say this but Boss is gone."
Peter started to cry, as he asked what day it was.
"April 27, 2024." FRIDAY said, and Peter started sobbing.
He crawled to Mr. Starks desk, and grabbed the picture they took together, with Peter's certificate upside down.
"One year, Mr. Stark. And everyone is gone. Ned left me, and MJ was blipped away again, sir. Aunt May passed one month ago, nothings the same anymore. But don't worry, sir, it'll be over soon. I'm going to see you soon. In a few hours, sir. I hope your proud." Peter said, pulling a full bottle of medicine from his pocket.
He quickly swallowed it all, while being glad it was super strength.
After about 20 minutes, Peter felt light, free again.
He saw Mr. Stark, Aunt May, Uncle Ben, and his parents, a beckoning him.
As he ran to them, everything went black. The last thing he saw was Bucky and Bruce running to him, and all went silent and black.
Finally, 1 year later, he was at peace.
So, um, yeah. My heart hurts now. I hope you liked it! Um, bye!
