INTRODUCTION

Katsuki Bakugo & Izuku Midoriya

It's over. The people are finally saved. I did it. I defeated Shigaraki.

Yes, nerd! You fucking won... You actually won and saved everyone!

At the final stages of what came to be called The Great Quirk War, Deku and Dynamight disappeared without a trace, leaving a now quirkless Shigaraki on the battleground as a sign of their victory.

Every survivor searched everywhere for the war's prominent key players, but no clue was found.

Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo saved the day and then vanished, very much like heroes.

All the pro-heroes agreed that this might cause an uproar, so they kept the information of the two heroes' disappearance from the population.

The society's saviors can not be missing. Not at this time. Everyone is looking at them now. Everyone is expecting. Everyone is waiting.

The government then decided that everything must be done to secure Midoriya and Bakugo's safety. The only issue is that no one knows where to even begin looking.

Sora & Miu Busujima

We are gifted with flight and speed like no other. Still, the calls of those in need reach us and haunt us. Some hate us, think us abnormalities while some adore us, think us heroes who save their lives. We are tired. Haven't we sacrificed enough? Haven't we saved enough? Is it really so wrong to be selfish? Is it really so wrong to just save ourselves this time?

Just a few months after the famous Luminescent Baby came into the world, twins Sora and Miu Busujima were also born differently than others. Sprouting from their backs were wings that resemble those of a bat, but aside from that, they also had a stranger and more terrifying ability.

Sora and Miu grew up into a broken society brought about by the onslaught of evildoers empowered by their newfound superpowers that came to be called Meta Abilities. Pushed by their desire for justice, they became one of the first "Heroes" in the form of Vigilantes who decided to take matters into their own hands.

Having started to save and sacrifice at a very young age, they grew exhausted; from fighting criminals, avoiding arrest, flying people to safety. So, they decided to escape the chaos and unrest to embark on a mission. That is to investigate an unnamed island that nullifies these superhuman gifts, or so they heard.

Just as more questions are appearing in their expedition rather than answers, two unconscious men fall from the sky and the twins save them from crashing to their deaths.

These men are Deku and Dynamight from the far future.

The future and past meet. Worlds merge and they discover truths beneath themselves and what's at their core; their quirks and their hearts.

**~A/N [05/08/2021]~** Hi! This is brainoise. I'm just a simple fan (of a lot of things) with an overactive imagination and so, this story is one of its fruits. Just a little introduction… While watching the My Hero Academia movies; Two Heroes and Heroes Rising, my brain had been itching to create another MHA movie. With the near release of World Heroes' Mission, the beginning of the anime's 5th season, and the publication of the manga's Chapter 310: Mentor and Pupil, all the hype gave me enough energy and motivation to finally begin writing. I got the title from this amazing song of the same name by Club Danger. Do give it a listen. It embodies the vibe of this whole fan-fiction. Some of you may be wondering and yes, this is a republished work. I know it's weird but I decided to republish it from scratch since I've only published three chapters in the first draft anyway. I hope those who followed and favorited the first version would find this again. I promise you'll like it better than the first. So, enough of that. I hope you all enjoy it! XX
