A/N: Hey there, True Believers! Welcome to a brand new Spidey spectacular! Now of course, it's a crossover story, because evidently I am WAY too hooked on crossovers fics. BTW, it's a crossover story with Marvel Rising, don't ask why, I just thought it'd be a good idea. And no. it's not Peter Parker, not Miles Morales, but instead, a new guy putting on the mask. Who is he?... I'll tell you all about him.

Character Bio:

Name: Kyle Merrick

Alias: Spider-Man

Voiced by: James Arnold Taylor

Age: 17

Height: 5 '10

Likes: Kickin' the crap outta bad guys, girls (Not in the pervert kind of sense), video games, listening to music, action/martial arts movies, pizza, burgers and fries, orange soda, and having friends.

Dislikes: Bad guys, people like Wilson Fisk, bullies, mayonnaise, watching people get hurt.

Relatives: Nick Merrick (Father; deceased), Maya Merrick (Mother; alive)

Physical appearance: Pale skin, short black messy hair, blue eyes, his physique is similar to Miles Morales' from the video game.

Attire: Black jeans, black and white Adidas superstar shoes, black hoodie unzipped with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, black short sleeve Henley with white spider design that looks similar to the Scarlet Spider symbol. He's also got 4 bead bracelets on his left wrist, and 3 on his right, along with a ring charm necklace.

Superhero suit: I've decided to remake the costume, it's now a symbiote suit that's more of a hybrid of the new red and blue suit from the new Spidey cartoon and the black suit from Spider-Man 3. But it has a black hood, silver web designs, all white lenses, the spider symbols from Spider-Man 3, white outsoles, and about as many web patterns as the suit from the movie.

Powers/Abilities: (I'm sorry I'm always changing up the story, I just can't stop having all these awesome ideas. Anyways, back to it.) He has the same powers as Peter Parker when he was bonded to the Venom symbiote.

Fighting style: The Way of the Spider

Personality: He's somewhat cocky, confidant, and fearless, but also really caring and kind. He's also a little rebellious, and quick to make a joke or sarcastic comment on the battlefield.

Backstory: Growing up, Kyle Merrick wasn't much of a guy who would easily back down. He'd always be the one to stand up for the little guys… Even though it would regularly get him into either the principal's office or the nurse's office. He would get scolding from his parents, but afterwards, he would actually get praises from his dad. He once told him "You're just like all those heroes in the world, son. You never back down, always protecting people, and standing up to the bigger guys. Sure you get knocked down now and then, but in the end, a hero is just a guy that never gives up. And that's what you are son. And let me be the first to tell you. You keep this up, and one day, you're gonna change the world."

Sadly Nick didn't get to see that day come, because when Kyle was 13, his dad was killed in a bad car accident. And two years later when he went to bed, some kind of mysterious black goo crawled on him and absorbed itself into his skin.

The next morning, he felt like he was on top of the world! He'd never felt more alive than he did in that exact moment! He even saw how strong he was when the star football player, Bill Tanner, was bothering some kid with glasses about homework at Midtown High School the same day. He told the guy to back off, but of course he didn't listen.

So what does he do? He says "Back off or I'll make you." Bill, thinking that he was just nuts, laughed at him and pushed him a little, which normally would have worked, but he just stood still like a statue. Bill tried punching him, but Kyle caught the fist at the last second, and punched Bill in the gut… Which sent him flying like 15 feet away. Kyle was just shocked at this, and then Bill ran with his tail between his legs. So much for the star athlete. Before anything else happened, Ryan ran away from the school grounds, scared himself.

He ran as fast as he could… Which made go all the way from Midtown to Time Square in just 20 seconds.

He ran again, this time towards home. He ran to his room and locked the door, and sat down on his bed with his hands firmly grasping both sides of his head, trying to comprehend what had just happened.

He caught a fist of the school quarterback aimed at his face with unbelievable speed, punched him in the gut which sent him flying, and ran all the way home in WAY less than a minute. What the hell was happening to him?

That question was answered the the form of a voice in his head... Which totally made him freak out. It told him to calm down so that it could explain.

It said it's name was Poizon, and that it came to him because he needed to bond to a host, it was crawling through the sewers until it saw Kyle walking by with a friend, and quickly attached himself to his shoe. He explained that all he wanted was to live, he was still a fledgling and he wanted to see so much of the world so he hopped into Kyle's body so that he could see it.

it took some convincing, but Kyle eventually agreed to allow Poizon to stay in his body. And who know? Maybe it won't be so bad after all.

But then 2 years later, something terrible happened... Spider-Man was killed. By his greatest enemy, the Green Goblin, who seemingly died too.

It was hard, but the rest of the city mourned for their hero, especially his family. His identity went out, which means he knew exactly who to talk to about this. Peter's aunt, May Parker. He asked her why he did what his did, and she said "Because of what happened to his Uncle Ben. He told that it was his fault the Ben died, he was trying to win some money from wrestling, but the fight promoter cheated him, saying "I missed the part where that's my problem." But then after that, someone broke in and stole all the money, and Peter, feeling quite angry, just let him go. Then when he came back home, our house was invaded by a stranger. he demanded that we give him anything valuable to him, Ben tried to fight him off but... The man had a gun." That was hard for her to explain, but Kyle took her by surprise and grasped her hands gently and softly urged her to continue. "Peter chased him down to an old warehouse by the docks. then the police search light shined into the room they were fighting in, and it showed the face of the same man that robbed that Peter had let go earlier." Now if that didn't shock Kyle than who knows what will? "Peter than believed that if he stopped him that one time, than maybe Ben would still be here. So he dropped him from the window. But Peter quickly webbed his foot, remembering that Ben would not approve."

She then told Kyle what Peter was told by Ben, "With great power comes great responsibility." Peter didn't understand what he meant at the time, but after he turned in the robber, he understood. It meant that if you have the power to do good, than it is your responsibility to do so.

So the Kyle realized that soon, the city will be overrun by crime with Peter Parker gone. he realized that soon, he must become something this city needs, something the city see that hope was not lost, that the age of heroism has never faded away.

He must become... Spider-Man.
